"A glass-walled, cavernous conference center in Gangnam that becomes a sprawling, museum-like setting during the fair, housing major booths, blockbuster works and a bustling fair atmosphere where galleries present everything from iconic contemporary sculptures to multimillion-dollar paintings." - Thessaly La Force
"Circle of Nature and Straight Line of Technology During my last stay in Seoul , I spent most of my time in the historic heart of the city north of the Han river. I did take a Sunday afternoon, though, to walk around the Gangnam district—the chic high rise–dominated neighborhood south of the river. (As recently as a few decades ago, this area was still rice-paddies.) Just around the corner from Bong-eun-sa temple (which dates from the 8th century), this striking building caught my eye: the headquarters for the Hyundai Development Company. Designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, it's known as "The Tangent." In the architect's words, "the Tangent is a project that is about the relationship between the ever-changing circle of nature and the straight line of technology." (Those words could also succinctly describe the recent history of postwar Korea.) In my mind, though, because this structure reminds me of one of my favorite artists, this is the Kandinsky building in Seoul. And across the street, beneath the Korea World Trade Center tower, is the COEX mall, Asia's largest underground shopping center. Grab a bite in the food court and get a feel for the youth pop-culture vibe; a K-pop dance competition just might be taking place on a nearby stage. To get here: Take Subway Line 2, exit Samseong (COEX) station."

I attended Elecs Korea 2025 at COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, and it was a fantastic experience! The venue is spacious, well-organized, and equipped with all the necessary facilities to accommodate a large-scale exhibition like this. The layout was easy to navigate, and the event was managed smoothly.
One of the best things about COEX is its convenient location—directly connected to the subway and the Starfield COEX Mall, which offers plenty of dining and shopping options. It’s great to have everything in one place, especially during a long day at an exhibition.
The event itself was impressive, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in the electronics industry. From networking with industry professionals to exploring the latest technologies, Elecs Korea 2025 was definitely worth attending.
Overall, COEX continues to be a top-notch venue for international events, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

An overwhelming amount of shops and people.
Any shop you could want here.
Lots of cafes and restaurants.
Movies, aquarium, library and gaming shops too.
Fashion for everyone and very big budgets.
On weekends or public holidays, this can get too busy to be able to move.
Easy to get lost and turn down the wrong isles.
Convenient for most styles of food.
The library (pictures above), is amazing.

You can find almost everything you need in this mall. You can come here by MRT an ld you can stay here whole day for shopping. This is women's haven. A lot of buildings links together, like Hyundai mall, Megabox cinema, hotels (Intercontinental, Oakwood), Trade tower etc. and Korean local food street inside. We found a good pork meat restaurant here.

Hey dude, COEX has been regarded as Korea’s the best international exhibition & convention venue over the years. I mean, it can cover all types of events.
Actually, a world-class tenor, Placido Domingo did a good job as the conductor of ‘Again 2024 Turandot’ which was held at COEX Hall D from the 22nd to the 31st in 2024. Interesting, isn’t it?
Good accessibility with Seoul subway no.2 and no.9 is awesome. Further, COEX is connected to mall, cinema, beautiful library, restaurants which are welcomed to families. A picture is worth a thousand words. Please visit. Enjoy.
