I genuinely don’t prefer leaving bad reviews, but honestly it’s just a warning on where to spend your money. Walked in to this coffee shop while walking in Gastown as it looked very promising, but I was definitely wrong. I asked if the matcha is ceremonial grade and they assured me that it is. So, I ordered it and ordered a peanut butter cookie as well. The matcha is most definitely not ceremonial grade and I’m not sure if it’s matcha or green dye colored milk. Terrible, no taste, no flavour whatsoever. The cookie was cold and dry but it was edible. The service was good, the staff was friendly. I wouldn’t step foot in here again tho.

A very nice place with a relaxing atmosphere. The ice cream was not only delicious, but it even seemed like they gave me a bigger portion than I ordered — a pleasant surprise! They have a cozy outdoor patio where you can sit comfortably, and if you prefer some privacy, there’s a separate spot in the hallway where you can be alone.

Don't come here! I came here yesterday with a friend. We ordered two cappuccinos and two vegan cookies/brownies (crazy prices). One cookie/brownie was hard as marble and hard to eat, tasting stale. I went to the guy and he kept telling me the cookie/brownie was good, so I told him to eat it. He tasted it and had a hard time chewing, but he kept telling me the cookie/brownie was good. I asked for another cookie, but I wasn't given one. I asked for a refund, but it wasn't granted. I didn't receive an apology from him. I will absolutely never go back to this place with its crazy prices and stale food.

Nice coffee shop with beautiful atmosphere! When I got there it was raining and made it so beautiful! Staff are nice! i had cortado which was ok and also I ordered red velvet cookie which was fluffy and fresh 😍👍🏼

Is the oat latte here supposed to taste like this?? As far as I know, there's an optimal temperature for heating the milk and when I got my coffee, it was too hot to even sip. And considering that there are so many different tastes for coffee, it doesn't tate that good :( I paid my coffe for almost $7 and I'd rather having Tim hortons' one.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is so cute and it feels so cozy. The furniture is so modern and the music playing sets such a cute vibe. However when my sister and I got our drinks they tasted quite watered down. The iced chai latte tasted a little more like chai but the matcha latte tasted exactly like milk. There was almost no matcha flavour. If you want to come here to study do so but note that the drinks are not as flavourful. Especially for the price of the drinks i’m a little disappointed with the taste :(

located in the heart of Gastown this cute space is easily accessible by a quick walk down water street! their almond croissants are wonderful and their space, although dimly lit, adds a layer of coziness to the atmosphere. I love coming here to study, or even people watch, and the staff is always so friendly!!

Life is too short to drink bad coffee. This plase had nice interior and it is located in a nice and calm street in Gastown, but thats it. If you are looking for a well prepared and quality coffee, there are other better places to go.
