Fantastic hot chocolate, with beautiful latte art. The cake I had was all right overall, the flavour was very good. Friendly service and the place is small and simply decorated but in a nice way. Would 100% go back for the hot chocolate! In summer there are a few outdoor spaces too.

Wonderful little cafe, just off Berggasse. Amazing coffee quality and wonderful service. We took notice of the barista’s meticulous work in dosing the coffee, frothing the milk and pouring it for the latte art. If you are a coffee lovers or coffee expert (if you know you know) this is the spot for you! FYI: the cakes are also wonderful (would recommend the crumble!)

Coffee Break is my go-to spot for the best coffee I've ever had. The coffee beans are specialty beans, roasted by the world‘s champion and the coffee is brewed with much care by the barista. His knowledge and precision in preparing the coffee, gives the coffee an unique taste. The coffee is very tasty, and the barista is passionate and skilled, crafting each cup with cool latte art. The place is extremely cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. If you love coffee as much as I do, you definitely need to check this place out!

It's a good size (for me) cafe with nice big windows. Outside sitting not loud enough to deter the ‘outside’ lovers. The coffee is incredibly tasty and made by Marco (owner). I had the blueberry cheesecake and it was also delicious. Marco (I hope I spelled your name correctly, mate) when making your coffee, shows that he cares. So far, one of the best cafes in Vienna. Try it and you'll understand.

The coffee is amazing! I had a cappuccino, it was nice and milky with a velvety coffee flavour. Absolutely delicious! The place is cute and cosy, pretty small but it wasn’t busy on this day so we had a quiet place to work from. They don’t have WiFi tho :/

My traditional visit in Vienna. Off the beaten tourist track, but still central, facing the Uni across the street. Very quiet and lovely. The coffee is good, and I love the Best Smooth Jazz (BSJ) radio that I discovered here years ago and they still play it on the loudspeaker. Keep in mind though: cash-only (this is Vienna) and no restroom (then again, there's still Uni across the street)

Excellent coffee, great taste and the cheesecake 😋. One of the many small little cafés that i began to find around Vienna and simply love them. Nice service, only cash. Be sure to visit of in the neighborhood.

This is not a review to re-confirm all the good reviews here about "Coffee Break". As written by others, the place is small and cozy, the cappuccino is fantastic, and the barista is very friendly & knowledgeable . I am writing this little review as a personal note to myself that making a "real" espresso is both art and science. Near the end of my rather long stay in Vienna, I am thrilled that I went to Coffee Break for my cup of cappuccino. I have had over 40 cups of espressos and cappuccino in Vienna and the one you see in the picture is by far the best! Also, I'd like to thank the coffee shop owner for having answered all my questions :) I am already planning going back before my departure for another wonderful experience! PS: We were even more surprised by the barista when he prepared a drink just for my daughter who does not drink coffee. The frozen-berry concoction was fabulous according to her (also visible in one of the photos). ________________________________________________________________________ PS: It's been some 10 hours now but I can still smell the ground coffee used in my cappuccino! A blend of Brazilian and (forgot) beans, mild roast, chocolaty aroma :)
