Good coffee, but bad service and no hospitality at all.
I have travelled the world and lived in other countries, but I have never encountered such a rigid approach to service. I arrived around 1 pm; the place was busy with customers but soon became empty. I brought a book to study German during my visit, and after having coffee and a cheesecake, I was on a phone call—regarding a job, when the staff decided to interrupt me, accusing me of disobedience in an empty restaurant. I did not allow him to disturb my call, as I have been looking for a job for six months, and my priorities were clear. After the call, he informed me that it is not permitted to study with a laptop or even without one (as I only had a book). When I asked who was bothered by me silently reading my book, he said he was bothered and was generous enough to allow me to do so for an hour already. As I am new in town, I usually carry a book when I go out because I don’t know many people, so it seems this kind of behaviour is not tolerated here, and I will not be returning.
