Coffee Corazon

Coffee Corazon is a teahouse, and a block away also a bakery. Excellent selection of coffees and teas. You can choose your own tea from a 'tea bar'. Also, various sandwiches, cakes, salads, and pastries. The friendly and eclectic interior is completed by an open library with over 1000 books, mostly in Dutch and English. The upper floor is a dedicated play pace for children with many toys, books, and games to choose from. Outdoor seating in the back, facing the canal. Friendly and according staff.

A perfect place for a family to spend part of a rainy day in Amersfort. The second floor is full of toys, perfect for families with young children. The apple pie with whipped cream is not to missed, the best we had during our holiday. The staff is very welcoming, and even includes a handsome orange cat who may grace you with a visit. Wish my hometown had a place as cozy and family-friendly as this!!

Amazing place and the server was the friendliest person ever. The two falafel dishes we had were very good. We sat outside but the indoor seating is also charming

Amazing food, cosy atmosphere, great staff! We got a recommendation for lunch, it was a big platter with all of their best cheeses and a little sweet treat. You have to try the apple pie! Thank you so much and greetings from Germany 🥰

One of the best apple tarts I’ve had accompanied by an excellent decaffeinated coffee. Will definitely return!

These bakery items hit all the taste notes we were looking for.. so much that we bought more to go. All served with a bright and attentive baker's charm.

Absolutely loved our visit to this cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the highlight was definitely the apple pie—hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly spiced, and buttery crust … just heavenly. Can’t wait to come back! 🍎🥧✨

Great healthy and whole food, Thr place has good ambiance,.The helpful servers are attentive but do not hover or upsell. Portion sizes larger than average for the Netherlands.

Delectable baked goods, strong coffee, delicious lunch made from mostly organic ingredients (love their chicken and avocado sandwich) and toddlers lounge filled with toys of every imaginable kind... simply our favorite coffee shop away from California. Tips: come after 12.30pm and you will have the toddlers lounge to yourself, as most families would usually leave around that time (for nap)

The staff is so friendly and helpful and adorable! Coffee is delicious. Will return when I'm back in Amersfoort.

We had a gathering of family and friends at Coffee Corazon 4 years ago when we got married and the service was great. We went back today for an anniversary coffee and treat to celebrate and the service was abysmal. We called over the server and ordered coffee, tea and a treat. He was friendly at first. We ordered in Dutch and English. He understood and went quickly to take another order from another table and seemed to chat with them for a long time. Then he disappeared. Then came back and went speaking with every table. Other tables were getting their drinks although they had come after us. I just thought our order took longer. Besides, on their menu it says not to rush and they aren't pushy. We waited and looked at the book collection they had. After a long time, I decided to check one of the pictures I took of the menu to see what time I took it. 30 minutes had past since I took a picture. We sat and sat then finally said let's go home and make our own tea and coffee. We left and on our way out we let them know we weren't happy. The server said, "oops I forgot to put it in the computer." he was too busy walking around chatting to others to not have a clue we were sitting and waiting. They gave us a 2.50€ coupon for next visit. I don't think I will go back. He ruined a celebration and broke a future tradition.

Coffee Corazon is a delightful little space, cozy, inviting and fun. Great food, coffee and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, fun and helpful.

Small, crowded, and excellent. Stopped here for lunch while visiting friends. I was charmed with the ambiance, our delightful waiter, and excellent food. Hope to get back before I leave for California and it's over abundance of Starbucks. Gag on Starbucks! Corazon nailed it. Good job!

Had coffee here a coulpe of times and both times it was pretty busy (saturday afternoon). The staff really did their best to keep up with all the orders. The interior has a livingroom kind of feel. There are big book cases on the side walls so you won't spend you time being bored. I really enjoyed the cheesecake and the cappuccino was nice to. Can't wait to try other stuff from their menu!

Absolutely lovely pastries, breads & desserts! Service is a bit slow & English speaking servers is not consistent. However, coffee & pastries can be worth the small frustration.

Waited 1/2 an hour on terrace without service, moved inside hoping for better service but, were equally 'invisible' to their staff. Never again.

Our favorite hang out while we were in Amersfort. Great coffee, friendly young staff, tasty food: the apple pie, warm, fresh from the oven, with whipped cream, was well worth the calories. So were the quinoa burgers. Lots of room to lounge, and free books to read! One caveat: laptops are NOT allowed.
