Cozy little cafe that serves absolutely great coffee. I had a filter coffee and enjoyed a few hours there. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are in Balat area and looking for a place to have good coffee or maybe work with your laptop for a few hours. This is your place!!! I’d definitely recommend it!!!

Don’t consider myself a coffee snob, but this is honestly the best coffee I’ve found here in Istanbul! A little away from the busy tourist area in Balat, which makes a perfect spot to sit and chill 👏

Wouldn’t say I was blown away although the coffee options here were relatively safe. I had two pour overs. One I finished the other I left on the table. Count drink it at all. Customer service was very bland and stale (yes I don’t speak the lingo although, staff do understand English and coffee.) Would I go out of my way to have a coffee here? No. Although, if I was near by I defiantly would give it a swirl.

Great pour-overs. Went here about six times, and I was really impressed by how their coffee as brewed actually has all the tasting notes from the little cards that go with the beans. I could consistently taste all the elements. Great brewing.

Thank goodness for this cozy cafe. I just needed to get out of the chaotic streets for a minute and get a hot beverage... Seriously the best cappuccino I have had all week. Kind and quick service as well. Highly recommend. :)

First and foremost, I have to say that their coffee is excellent. I’ve visited twice, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and also purchased some beans, both of which I found exceptional. However, as someone who loves cats and doesn’t mind their presence in cafes, I was concerned to see a cat sitting on the dining table, which raises hygiene issues. Additionally, I was surprised to find that their coffee is priced higher than specialty coffee shops in London.

Top quality coffee beans, great variety, perfect customer experience. Finca Milan is great for cold brew. Shasta is a perfect bean for espresso based drinks, or on Moka Pot. El Obraje, El Mirador and Aricha is perfect for pour over, and Batch Brew or Chemex. Centrocafe is for caffeine free lovers. Diamantina is a must use in every espresso blends you’re making as a minimum %40. Diamantina can also be used for Turkish Coffee making. When you get a bag of coffee, you get a free coffee drink from the house immediately. Overall score 4.7/5 for a Coffee Shop

At the moment this coffee department is the best coffee shop in Istanbul we visited. Very wide selection of coffee beans to brew. We try Costa Rica, Salvador and Columbia and all of them were amazing. Very friendly baristas telling about taste and aroma we can found in cup of fresh brewed v60. Actually ten out of ten.

Yelp
I decided to give this place another chance after it was recommended by a personal friend, whom said that their V60 filter coffee was quite good. And honestly, while I thought the Ethiopian Chelchele tasted a bit sour, it was quite flavourful and I could taste the floral notes. Beats Starbucks&Co. for sure. And for 12₺, I think it's the best bang for your buck, since one pot of coffee equals almost exactly 2 cups of coffee, and for 6₺ per cup, I think the price is very reasonable. Also I learned a couple of new things, apparently you can buy the coffee beans, they cost 35₺ for 250g, and also the equipment to go along with it. All things considered, I decided to bump up this place by a star and I would recommend this place for their filter coffee. It's not the best coffee I had in Istanbul, and I wouldn't come here just for the coffee, but if you're in the neighborhood, feel free to swing by. P.S: If you want to know more about the place, here is a video about them. They're featured around the 8:25 mark. http://youtu.be/vikt-AC-HnU
