Google
That was awesome and QUICK. They flew through a line of like 50 people so fast. Drink was really good. Can’t remember the last time I got a latte where it was this well made with the microfoam. Baked goods were crazy good too.

Google
Amazing cafe, definitely something to experience. I got the breakfast burrito, white chocolate truffle latte, and pumpkin muffin. The first thing I noticed about the places was how spacious it was. It was nice, relaxing, uniquely decorated, and had a positive vibe to it. Secondly, the breakfast burrito was delicious! You could tell it was freshly made that day and not prepackaged. Latte and pumpkin muffin were also excellent! For sure coming back here.

Google
Great coffee shop, great atmosphere, and friendly employees. Coffee and Breakfast with my Daughter, we both decided on the Goetta Burrito, I had a Hot Milky Way coffee and she had iced coffee. Definitely worth the trip.

Great place! My coffee and desserts were delicious! They have a wonderful gluten free selection of goodies.

Google
Coffee Emporium is truly a gem. Great coffee/food, friendly staff, comfortable environments. That said, I have been approached by an increasing number of homeless people while inside the downtown location who have been more aggressive lately. I hope the impact of this on safety/comfort will be addressed soon.

Google
Awesome coffee and food. The best in Cincinnati for sure. Pumpkin spice latte was awesome and delicious! Very nice atmosphere with lots of choices. I even bought some coffee beans to go. Will be coming for more again soon! Keep up the awesome work!

Google
This is a staple in Cincinnati. The atmosphere is laid back, there is plenty of seating, lots of food to choose from, and great coffee! I have seen this place very busy and also not so busy. The food you see at the front is what they have. So you either grab it while in line or, if it’s behind the glass, tell them which one you want. They will warm or toast if needed. Plenty of seating. If you order regular coffee you fill it yourself and refills are not free. Parking is tricky.

Google
Burrito, pastry and coffee are all EXCELLENT!!! Sierra, Mel, Mia and all the other staff are amazing workers!!!

Yelp
Pretty unassuming but super cute coffee shop! This location is semi-hidden in a huge building in downtown Cincy and i never would've thought I'd stumble across a cafe here. As i planned to spend just a day and a half in Cincinnati, i wanted to find the best of the best breakfast spots in town, and thankfully found Coffee Emporium. Chock full of goodies, merch, mugs, snacks, pre-made refrigerated items that are ready to warm up and eat... really about anything you could expect! I opted for the breakfast burrito which was a simple bacon egg and cheese burrito with pieces of potatoes scattered through, as well as their Almond Joy specialty drink. Simple but tasty breakfast to start the 4 hour drive back to nashville :)

Yelp
A visit to Coffee Emporium is a treat, thoughtfully curated from beginning to end. This isn't your everyday coffee shop - it's an expansive yet intimate treasure full of character and local favorites. Their team is customer-centric and intentional. All were friendly and happy to answer questions. As orders were fulfilled, and as pre-prepared items were purchased, their staff continually restocked. Their menu is well positioned for visibility, and water cups are aluminum to keep it cool. There are meal options for most diets, and the seating area has rearrangeable tables to accommodate parties of varying sizes. I tried the blended peanut butter mocha. It was delicious! I enjoyed the richness peanut butter added and would definitely reorder. I'll also be back for lunch. There was a great variety of soups, sandwiches, and snackables I'm looking forward to trying. Insider Tip: They usually have bagels available in the back -- you just have to ask, or know ;-)

Yelp
Stopped here for a midday pick me up while exploring the Cincinnati area. I had an iced lavender oatmilk latte which was perfect! It's a large space inside with plenty of seating. Service was friendly and bathrooms were clean.

Yelp
Who knew this was a coffee place so close to where we stayed in the OTR! It looks deceiving on the outside but it's spacious on the inside and has an industrial feel. I ordered an Assam hot tea, perfect way to start my day. My sisters and I ordered a variety of pastries so we could have a tasting we ordered the raspberry jam, scone, blueberry muffin, cinnamon coffee cake, and cinnamon muffin. Everything was delicious especially the coffee cake, very moist. Friendly and fast service, and they have something for everyone whether it's coffee, tea, or any sort of drink and breakfast and lunch options. I would definitely return in the future when I visit again.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and a busy place on a weekday morning when I stopped for my first caffeine. My cortado was excellent and worth paying for as the flow of customers definitely had the baristas working hard. I found a table with a power outlet and was able to connect to their wifi with ease. I stayed about an hour and a half and would have gotten a second coffee except that my parking meter was running out. Cincinnati wants its dollar per hour for sure. Great spot, great coffee. Yelp
Great tasting espresso beverages while also being the most economic of the shops I've tried in the city. If their locations were closer to me, they'd be my favorite local spot to grab espresso.
google avatar

Yelp
Can you ever visit Cincinnati and not stop at the best coffee place there is? No. The answer is no. Whether it's a hot, iced, or blended coffee... you will always be satisfied! I've been several times and always am thinking of what I'll get on my next visit because the options are all just so great and never disappoint! Oh and they also have the cutest merchandise!! It's always so hard for me to resist adding another cute mug to the collection. And I always must bring home a bag of coffee beans because these people just know how to roast some delicious coffee!
google avatar

Yelp
I have lived in various states and places in the country - and I love coffee emporium the best, for a variety of reasons. The coffee is delicious, the service is great (although the line is often long - for good reason), I love the ambiance, and their food options are plenty. Their other location in Hyde Park is also wonderful and the quality of the food and drinks is the same!
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
The Coffee Emporium was exactly that. It was a large place with lots of choices, unfortunately not many vegan choices. It was incredibly busy around 10a on Saturday. We ordered to stay and had to request regular coffee cups. The default as always is to go cups. Almost every table around us was drinking out of to go cups. I did appreciate they had reusable water cups. The coffee they sold by the bag had very attractive packaging and the drinks themselves were good. The staff seemed to be very busy and many of the tables in the dining room needed to be wiped off. We ended up sitting at a much larger table than we needed. Despite minor issues I would go back. The food was good and staff was friendly. It is walkable from Over the Rhine.
google avatar

Yelp
There is a reason this is so highly rated with over 600 reviews! The coffee was fantastic, everything was very fresh and perfectly roasted. Strong, full flavor without being burnt or acidic. They also offer a variety of baked goods. We got a maple scone which was soft, buttery, and not too sweet.

Kearston R.

Yelp
Coffee is phenomenal - ordered blackberry, vanilla, and salted caramel iced lattes, each were wonderful. The blackberry tasted just like jam without being too sweet or overpowering. Service was kind and speedy. My friend asked about an allergy and within 2 seconds they pulled out the recipe book to check for ingredients no hesitation. There's plenty of sitting room inside with a cute industrial vibe. I wish I lived in Cincy to get coffee there every single day!!

Yelp
I love this place! Not only do they have incredible coffee, atmosphere and service but they make their bakery items from scratch. Just yummy!

Yelp
Loved this spot during my visit. Stopped 2 days in a row. Great coffee and solid healthy options.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. Iced coffee was so good, had so many awesome snacks and food. Had a Nutella banana GF muffin, was amazing. Anyways yes great place, nice workers. Interior was so cool.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Cincinnati I go there for morning coffee. Excellent place and friendly people. Fast service.

Yelp
Good coffee but you will wait In a long line on the weekend! Coffee and lattes were good. Pastries were a little underwhelming. Especially since there were so many options and displayed but they didn't taste the greatest. Had the banana bread it was average Big coffee shop with lots of seats
google avatar

H T.

Yelp
Lattes are to die for, love their quiches and food selection as well! The breakfast burritos are a little greasy but that may be due to them reheating the items for you as they're refrigerated

Yelp
This has to be my favorite Coffee Shop in Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky! They are so friendly and welcoming. They also have another location in Hyde Park. The Chocolate Chip scone is my all time favorite. Make sure and ask for it to be warmed up! The line can seem overwhelming when you first get there, but for the most part it moves pretty quick. Just plan a little extra time in the mornings! Make sure to stop here next time you are downtown or in Hyde Park!
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite Cincinnati in-store coffee shop. Emphasis on "in-store coffee shop" - not my favorite coffee- but it's pretty good locally roasted and the rest of the menu is full of variety. My favorite is a cold brew with extra cream or the frozen Orange Julius smoothie drink and a lemon loaf. And my emphasis on in store coffee shop is because there are many other great and quite lovely local carryout coffee shops and places with great coffee- but the Coffee Emporium downtown is a quintessential coffee shop. It's cozy yet spacious. It has great food (not just baked goods)- and beverage selections. They have great aesthetically pleasing bags of whole bean coffee and merch. The employees are friendly and operate organized and efficiently and the clientele is diverse. It feels like a shop that I would see my favorite fictional characters frequent. It feels like somewhere a rom com would take place. And I'm here for it. ....my only complaint is that if they could add a few more convenient outlets in the floor for middle tables it would be great!
google avatar

Sheryar K.

Yelp
My first time being here, and this is the picture perfect coffee shop. Not only can you come here and work your way through the day without knowing, they have some of the BEST coffee i've had (coming from someone who doesn't even drink coffee like that) i had a cold brew with vanilla flavoring (iced) and it was delicious and not too strong or sweet and just right. We also got a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread and A Carrot cake slice! both those items were so moist and DELICIOUS, tasted like they just freshly made them in the back and brought them out! Overall this place is a 5/5 for me, will return.
google avatar

Shantell P.

Yelp
Wanted to put everyone onto in my opinion the best coffee in Cincinnati. This is such a great space with so many options. There's alternative milk options, lots of tea and coffee, specialty lattes, bakery items, and lunch items. Lots of space if you want to work from there or just chat with a friend. Just such quality coffee, highly highly recommend!
google avatar

Tamara S.

Yelp
Yummy yummy coffee here and sweet staff! I do have to say, the breakfast burrito is quite underwhelming. Love the buzz from other coffee drinkers, with all of the seating options. This being said, it can get pretty loud and packed. I like visiting, even with some of the downsides.
google avatar

Yelp
Favorite coffee in Cincinnati! I usually get their honeybee lattes but went with pumpkin pie bc it's September! Do I make a big deal over where to get my favorite seasonal flavor every season? Yes. If you were cool you'd do it too. Coffee Emporium was the winner for my first pumpkin flavored latte and it DID NOT disappoint. I usually get my lattes 1/2 sweet but forgot to with this one and it was just fine. Whenever we have guests who love coffee we make sure they stop here and all my guests loved it too. Fun fact: if you love coffee emporium but are up in Loveland, Mike 42 Coffee uses their beans! Fun fact 2: they will grind their bags of coffee for you and they were kind enough to ask how I brew my coffee so that they could make sure to grind it fine enough for my espresso machine.
google avatar

Madi S.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop with food options as well! My go tos include the Milky Way Latte and a breakfast burrito. This is located downtown so there are some limited parking with meters right in front of the building. The line will get long so plan ahead if you're in a rush for work! I'm here at 7:36 and the line is 10 deep with one barista and one person taking orders on a Tuesday morning. 10/10 recommend but again, plan your time and trip appropriately! There is plenty of seating inside if you plan to have a quick meeting over coffee or grab a book and read! There is seating outside as well! There's also restrooms available as well.

Yelp
Decent place, for grab coffee & pastries. Matcha tea with strawberry purée was super good combination, was actually first time that I wanted drink matcha tea again!

Yelp
The Emporium has consistently been one of my favorite coffee shops since I moved to Cincinnati nearly two years ago. From the actual beans, to the shop itself, to the folks behind the counter ... there's just so much to love! This morning, I stopped in with my fiancé for a quick cup of coffee to-go. The barista was so friendly - greeting us with a big smile and a genuinely positive attitude. Along with our drinks, we were tempted by some beautiful red velvet cupcakes ... and we're so glad we decided to treat ourselves. These cupcakes were the perfect sweet addition to our Valentine's Day. I also love that Coffee Emporium sets up a booth at downtown events like the "City Flea." Starting your shopping spree with a familiar coffee brand is just what you need before exploring a sea of local vendors. The drinks themselves are always memorable. Today, I had a hot gingerbread latte: I was grateful they still had some holiday options this late into the New Year ... because even though it's well past Christmas, the weather doesn't seem to want to start warming up quite yet. My fiancé stuck with his go-to iced Chai ... why mess with the classics? Local tip - they're super busy on weekends. If it's too cold to park a bit further away and walk (and you're not in a huge hurry), circle the block a few times until one of the spots in front opens up. I can't tell you how many times I've parked way down the street, only to walk back and find a prime parking spot. I'm also excited Coffee Emporium is back open to dine-in customers. I can't wait to hole up there for an afternoon with a scone or two and a Java Jive.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely hands down one of favorite breweries in Cincinnati. Amazing food and beers. We love all the Rookwood pottery inside and the top floor too. Always a go too!
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
Looking for a fantastic cup of coffee? How about a scone? Coffee Emporium has both - and they're mad on the premises! I love it when we're downtown and have a few minutes - because I can always grab a cup of fantastic coffee at Coffee Emporium. I have the people I work with ordering the whole bean so they can enjoy the same cup at home - I kid you not, it's worth the trip! I wasn't gonna be the guy who ordered a scone, but the kid brought them out from the kitchen as I was placing my order, and I just couldn't help it. I was certainly not disappointed. If you get a chance, please visit this place!
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
I am not a regular, but we always try to stop here while traveling through Cincinnati. It is so good! I had a gluten free banana Nutella muffin a year ago and it was so incredible that I couldn't stop dreaming about it. This time, we visited in the afternoon, so I expected to see an almost empty pastry case. Instead, I saw a full bounty of delicious baked goods AND the GF BANANA NUTELLA MUFFIN!!! I was thrilled and got a few to take home to Indy. The muffins are a little messy, but really all the best things are. The coffee is delicious too! We had a nitro cold brew and plain latte (our standards for comparing good coffee shops). There is plenty of space for seating, cute merch, and several menu options.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Though they had some appealing pastries, I stuck with a beverage here. There was a line, but they had a pretty efficient operation with multiple people working the register and making drinks. The space in which to drink and work was large and impressive and a free wifi (which says it's only good for 45 minutes) popped up easily. My chai latte delivered a nice balance of flavors, and for a large it just didn't last that long. Ideally you'd want to sit on your ipad and sip slowly at a cafe like this, but the chai was too tasty to last the 45 minutes. They had a variety of other items for sale, but their core functions-good drinks, efficient service, and a useful work area-were all excellently achieved.
google avatar

Sanyika K.

Yelp
The coffee here is absolutely amazing! They also have a wide variety of delicious food options to choose from. You won't be disappointed! Just a piece of advice, though: be sure to arrive early because this place is so popular that there's always a line of customers waiting to place their orders. But believe me, it's totally worth the wait! Enjoy your visit!
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
We came here on Thanksgiving Day and we're so happy to find a coffee shop that was open! The biscotti was delicious and they had so many baked goods to choose from- it was hard to pick! Even though the line was long they seemed like they had a good system going and I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for my drink. There were tons of tables to sit at too. It's a very open space.
google avatar

Karen J.

Yelp
Amazing customer service and great coffee. Their muffins are so good!!! Owners are kind and their employees actually look happy to work there
google avatar

Joanne T.

Yelp
A nice and spacious coffeeshop in downtown. They have baked goods and good drinks. I got a dirty chai with oat milk and it tasted amazing. Their vegan muffin was also delicious. Highly recommend if you want a place to hang out or study.
google avatar

Philip B.

Yelp
Everything is great about this place... But the coffee. Such a shame. Some kind of chemical tasting flavors.
google avatar

Loudon L.

Yelp
Strolled in a little indecisive so I got two different drinks. The Bumble Bee Buzz was pretty yummy, it had just the right amount of sweetness and flavoring. They also have a Bumble Bee Steamer which sounded really good for those who wanted a latte type drink without the caffeine fix. The other drink I ordered was a Matcha Latte. I wouldn't say I indulge heavily in matcha but I know I have had a good amount ranging from bitter to overly sweet. For me this one was both, lightly sweet with a stronger kick of matcha at the end of each sip. I really enjoyed it, probably one of my favorites. Aside from the drinks the baked goods looked great and I will have to come back to taste some. The shop itself was very relaxed and spacious, not too crowded for a Sunday but I'm sure I beat the rush. Big fan of this spot.
google avatar

Steven E.

Yelp
I love coffee but I'm not the connoisseur that my cousin Vicki is. She said come here. We are here. Vicki say "the beans are high quality and the extraction process is more efficient than the other shops in the area!" I have to defer to her expertise. But I would concur. Vicki say "this product is healthier for you and if you talk coffee with them, they're all highly trained and WILL educate you." To me, this just makes you a better informed consumer. I will attest that I know a lot more about the brewing and origins of coffee since we started coming here. Kinda cool. Steven E. say "we love this place!" I've never been a fan of flavoured coffees, but the folks here have perfected a system by where my drink turns out consistently great. So far I've tried the Turtle Latte, The Bumble Bee, something called Dirty Chai, which has the perfect amount of spice for me and the Winter Solstice (drip coffee), which knocked my socks off! The staff are incredible. Once they helped me get my socks back on, I started in on my buddy Al's Java Jive. Now I'm addicted to yet another drink. All of the afore mentioned drinks help to wash down their incredible muffins! 01/22

Yelp
Amazing coffee and food. My favorite is the tuna salad sandwich with a side of pasta salad or the breakfast burrito. Anything you get you'll love (if you have good taste). They're efficient and kind and bring you your food. It's another place you can sit for hours and get work done and you can even sit outside if you want. It's ambiance is calming so I can read and again do homework. Give it a try! You won't regret it.
google avatar

Kasie R.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how much I love this place! Staff is so friendly! I love the industrial look. The vibe is upbeat but also a place you could hang out and do work. I haven't had any food I didn't like. And the coffee is so yummy
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
Upon entering you will find the indoor space massive and inviting with plenty of room for social distancing, of which I was a fan before COVID was a thing. I ordered the Brew Hoo which has a nice not overpowering chocolate flavor (similar to Yoo Hoo). The counter staff were very friendly and the baristas seemed to be enjoying their work which speaks well for the product you can expect as well as the work culture.
google avatar

Blue A.

Yelp
Really great coffee! I love visiting local coffee shops whenever I travel. This place is excellent, Iced mocha - delicious, Rich chocolate flavor, mixed with robust esspresso. Java jive - basically an iced vanilla latte. Described as sweet and creamy. It's exactly that. Blueberry muffin. Has a little cap of sugar on top. This was so good! Coffee cake - a thick slice with a swirl of cinnamon l in the middle. Such a delicious treat. Super nice staff. During covid they are only doing to go, but they have a few tables outside you can put your drink down if you want to sip and eat for a few minutes.

Yelp
Coffee Emporium has some of the best coffee in the city. It's conveniently located and has lots of space. It's probably one of the biggest coffee shops I've seen in the city. On the weekends (especially morning to midday) expect a line. Service is decent, but a little slow because of the lines. Pastries were solid.
google avatar

Josh W.

Yelp
Sometimes, you just want a quick, hot cup of strong coffee at a good price. Recently, during some work downtown, I found just that and then some. I've passed by Coffee Emporium numerous timed living in Cincinnati but never stopped by. But when you have a super busy early morning, you need that extra caffeine encouragement. Coffee Emporium gave me that in a VERY tasty way. The place itself is pretty big, bigger than I expected, with a plethora of beverage choices, both coffee and otherwise. They also have breakfast, lunch, and snack option to help fuel an empty tank. I'm a man of simple coffee taste (straight black, no cream or sugar), so I went with a medium daily blend called the Raven's Blend. It was my first time, and my barista was super friendly and helpful, answering any question I had. My coffee was just what I was craving; dark, strong, and tasty. Coffee Emporium is a great coffee spot. No wonder it's been around for so long. I could absolutely see myself stopping by again for another cup during my next early morning downtown excursion. I may try the peanut butter mocha next time because it sounds really good.
google avatar

Caitlin Y.

Yelp
I love coffee emporium. The coffee is the best in the city in my opinion. Their food selection is amazing, too. I love the breakfast burritos. You can't go wrong with any of the pastries, either. They also have tons of cute merch. The downtown location is a little noisier than the hyde park location, so if you're looking for a quiet place, just know that. There is a lot more seating at the downtown location, though. If really good coffee and really good food is what your looking for, check out coffee emporium!
google avatar

Karley M.

Yelp
I love a good coffee shop with fresh made pastries. This is one not to miss when downtown Cincinnati. Ambience, staff, coffee and pastries all phenomenal. Tons of space for sitting, working, relaxing, etc.
google avatar

Sandy H.

Yelp
Coffee emporium is a place I will drive out of my way just to get it because it is just that good! When you walk in and smell the coffee you can't help but get excited for your own drink especially when you need that caffeine kick in the morning. I typically get a couple pounds of whole beans to take home as well for those times that I can't make it in.
google avatar

Sydney H.

Yelp
I feel coffee emporium is known as THE coffee spot in Cinncinnati, and for good reason! It is not my spot for coffee, thus the 4 stars, but if you enjoy coffee you're gonna get quality here. They have all the options, they're quick, they're consistent, there is a place and drink for you.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
This place is for the true coffee enthusiast! It has such an enjoyable modern feel and is the perfect place to purchase a delicious coffee paired with an equally delicious muffin. I love coffee in all of its forms but i regret to say i am not the most informed coffee consumer and i love that their staff is ALL about their coffee and are happy to help and explain the different coffee and help you purchase the perfect sip Its a great place to hang and catch up with a friend or just kill time. No one tries to give you the eyeball to get you to hurry up and leave. They sincerely want you to enjoy your visit, and i sincerely hope that you do too!

Yelp
First time here. Made a stop during our short Cincy trip and got a latte and a cold brew. Very friendly baristas. The latte was at the right temperature and the milk foam was blended well with the espresso. The espresso tasted not strong for a 12-oz size so it just lacked that nice kick of coffee flavor in mouth - overall, a good but not wow drink to fix your caffeine need. The cold brew was average - low acidity, sweet aftertaste but the body was on the light side.

Yelp
Long line. Slow service. Too Strong cappuccino, too strong mocha, overly sweet croissant, excellent breakfast muffin, good scone.
