Coffee House Apartment Motel

The coffee house does a great breakfast, front of house staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are slightly older, but well kept and the location secure and is perfect if you're visiting Rocky, walking distance to everything.

Got put here when I came to Rocky for work.||So happy I was! |From checking in, until leaving I was looked after.||Paula on check in gave me local advice on where I could get a meal on a Sunday evening. |And some tips for being safe around town.||Andy totally forgave me for flying back to Albury at 5:30am with his keys in my pocket 🙈|As long as I proved return postage, of course!||The housekeeping really does depend on the day, seeing as I was at work I can’t say who gets praised… some are fabulous. |Some, just NOT and lazy af seeing as I know they get 30 mins per room.||Was there a month and they did let the black mould grow up the shower glass, until I wiped it off with a facecloth and left it on the floor to see… that day was the *only* occasion I ever smelled bleach in that apartment. |In a month.|Also leaves blow in under the door, and they will get left there, depending.||So if you have more sensitive respiratory issues than me you might want to be less passive aggressive.||Otherwise the dishes cleared, fresh towels every day and someone making my bed felt so nice, like the fairies had come ☺️

Great place to stay. Super friendly staff and service. Good size rooms. Brilliant spa bath. Off street security parking.

I've stayed at the Coffee House Apartment Motel several times. I would have rated it 4 stars however I will have to rate it lower since my "pleasant" experience with the lady at reception. Positives The location is great. You can walk to the city centre or river by foot and yet it's a very quiet area. There is heaps of free parking available and pubs/restaurants are nearby. I booked a one bedroom apartment and the room was fairly big. It even had a washing machine and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. There was really nothing missing and it even had a huge balcony. Room for improvements The cleanliness of the rooms was ok. The fridge definitely needed to be cleaned properly. I also think a new carpet would make a huge difference. Negatives I never had such an unpleasant experience checking in. The lady at reception lacked any sort of customer service skills and came across as rude and arrogant, tyring to start and argument over my handwriting. Was not impressed with this attitude at all.

Rooms are very run down and dirty. Everywhere you look there is dust, broken switches, paint peeling off the walls, badly cracked toilet cistern, furniture falling apart and the beds are so old you either sink in them or wake up with a sore back from the hardness. The suffocating smell of ammonia and cleaning fragrance makes you wonder what actual smell they’re trying to cover up…won’t be back as they don’t seem too concerned about the cleanliness and condition of the place.

Nice location close to everything yet quiet. Bed was comfortable and the apartment was CLEAN! ||The Managers were fabulous! They went above and beyond our requests which was greatly appreciated. ||We will definitely be back to this apartment complex and have no hesitation in recommending them to family, friends or anyone that reads this review.

Really lovely property managers. I left my jacket in the room when l booked out and they drove out to the airport to give it to me. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient location close to Stocklands Shopping Centre|and the airport. It appears all the rooms have a balcony. Easy access from the rooms to the |carpark. No multi high rise just ground and level 1 rooms set amongst landscaped gardens. Convenient coffee shop on site for breakfast and lunch and great Merlo coffee.
