I Visited Panama to Try the World's Most Expensive Coffee — and Now You Can, Too

"A specialty roaster based in Southern California known for buying small, high-priced lots of Geisha at auction, then retailing extremely limited servings at premium prices (examples include selling cups for tens to a hundred dollars), actions that helped amplify public attention around the bean’s rarity and flavor profile." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Great little locally owned coffee cafe. The food was good. I had the avocado egg toast. The eggs were a little under cooked for my taste and it really needs more avocado to make it a really good plate. I don't know what kind of sausage patties they use but, they were really good. The other meals at my table looked delicious and were enjoyed by those in our party. The coffee was very good and it kept coming. I'm looking forward to returning to try some of the other food on the menu.

We stopped in here for lunch -3 adults and 4 small children. The service was great and everyone was very professional and friendly. They food and atmosphere was great. They even had a high chair for our youngest that was exceptionally clean. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place deserves a 5 star- thank you!

Amazing coffee (amazing flavors too!), delicious food, and outstanding service. Every time my parents come to town to visit me they want to go here. The owner/employees are extremely nice, they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. 10/10 recommend!!

Love this place -- we lived here when it originally opened years ago and were back visiting for a soccer tournament. The coffee/beverages and food are still so good - mocha, smoothies, steamer for beverages we had, and veggie omelet (they saute the veg before putting it in), and over medium eggs and hash browns cooked perfectly! Also chicken bacon wrap was really nice to have fresh ingredients! They have some dairy and gluten free alternatives, like almond and oat milk and gluten free bread for toast, etc. Service is friendly, atmosphere is nice and cozy. It's kinda loud with the construction going in one corner of the building. Overall, so glad we chose to go there for brunch!

Delightful! Needed a quick bite after a morning of visiting antique shops. Lovely breakfast sandwiches delivered by a friendly server. We'll be back whenever we are in the area.

The pancakes are amazing. Breakfast sandwich was really good. Coffee also really good. Only open until early afternoon. Seating available but wait staff busy. Small and open so food smell is strong, not bad, but will leave with some of the odor on you. Would go again.

Great small town coffee shop, the woman that solely operates the business does a amazing job from knowing what every customer wants to cooking food and refilling coffees. Live music events throughout the months, cooked from home style meals and great coffee, highly recommend if your in the Galesburg area

Yelp
This place is everything that is right with small towns. The staff are super friendly and attentive, prices are better than in the nearby cities, and the rustic charm is off the charts. Coming in for a late brunch, I found quite a few locals happily chatting. It feels like this place has the heartbeat of Galesburg, even offering live music on Friday nights. What a great coffee shop and diner!

Yelp
Great food. Fresh ground coffee! Best prices over Star Buck, Bigbys, and anywhere else.

Yelp
We stopped in for breakfast on the way home from Michigan. It was very clean and the staff were friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the food was great! The toast was sliced nice and thick as if it was homemade, and sandwiches were available instead of breakfast if you wanted. The only thing that I would change is the coleslaw. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular customer here...great food for a great price.

Yelp
Everything is Awesome here!! Great food wonderful coffee and friendly staff will make you feel like part of their family!!

Yelp
Great place, great food!! If you want fancy coffee or regular coffee, they have them both. Fresh ground every morning! Better prices than Starbucks or Bigbys, and they serve breakfast and lunch

Yelp
Happy to try back on a Saturday. Breakfast sandwich as fast as drive thru at McDonald's. I highly suggest trying the call ahead to reduce wait time to just payment if you are in a rush.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and omelets. Staff are extremely friendly! Wish they were open on sundays. But I can visit another day.

Yelp
I arrived today at 1:00pm, to meet a friend. Doors were locked, and it was dark inside. Online hours said they SHOULD have been open until 8:00pm. No note on the door explaining the mystery! Very disappointed, we had to go to McDonalds to get coffee- as there's not many options around there...

Yelp
These guys serve awesome food and good coffee! Reasonable prices for what is offered. You have to try their breakfast sandwiches!

Yelp
Would have given this a 31/2 if I could have. The coffee tastes good had lunch here once soup and a half a sandwich food good but our soup taste good but bowl was so shallow that there was barely 1/4 cup. Kinda felt cheated. We have stopped serval times for just coffee and it was always good. Cute place closed on Sunday's

Yelp
Terrible service, I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in and then waited at the counter for at least 2 minutes, no eye contact, nothing. I should have left then. I then went on to order an Americano, and somehow they managed to screw up the simplest drink out there. Poor quality espresso and experience. I will not return to this shop. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Yelp
I love this place! Table service and friendly staff, great coffee and movies! I highly recommend it! My friends and I love to meet here as it's a halfway point between BC and Kzoo.
