Coffee Lunar

We visited Coffee Lunar today and really enjoyed the mocha latte—it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet like some other places, and had a rich, smooth flavor. The little snacks were also a nice touch! The drink presentation was adorable with cute designs, making it feel extra special. The café itself has a lovely aesthetic, but we did find it a bit tight on space, especially since we came with our small kids. There wasn’t much room for them to sit comfortably, which made it a little less family-friendly than we’d hoped. Overall, a great spot for quality coffee and a cozy atmosphere—just keep in mind it might not be the most spacious for families with little ones. Would definitely return for the drinks alone!

Nice, quiet café on Yonge & Davenport in Yorkville. 11/10 for the flat white I ordered, it went well with the delicious matcha cookie:) 🍪 I’m very much impressed with the quality of coffee. That’s good coffee!

I loved everything about this cozy cafe situated near Yorkville. The environment was so welcoming, playing some great music gem. The latte was amazing as well. Grab a seat by the window and grab yourself a book to enjoy. Such an amazing experience. Will return.

First time visiting this cafe shop. I had matcha cream drop with a basque cheesecake and tiramisu. Very tasty! Cozy, relaxing and chill aesthetic.

Not a lot of food items available when I went- maybe it rotates? Based on other reviews, I expected more options. The egg-tato sandwich I got was OK but not amazing. However, they have WiFi, outlets, and the vanilla drop I ordered was genuinely delicious. So, not a bad place to come for a coffee and work.

The matcha cream drop is like nothing I’ve ever had before! It’s amazing!!! The cafe has lots of seating, relaxing vibes, and friendly staff!

One of my favourite iced coffee drinks in the city! I ordered the vanilla drop latte which featured a nice sweetened cold foam with espresso underneath. The flavours melded well together and was quite refreshing. There is a decent seating area and desk space if you are interested in getting work done but the space isn’t too big.

Love their coffee! Not 100% thrilled a out their small snacks. The internet is slow, especially if you have to connect to another server. The coffee is made really well. Highly recommend to satisfy your caffeine cravings!

I finally stopped by this cafe post running to try their signature drop series. I heard about them from a friend who visited their North York location and just to find out I do not need to travel that far, there's one near by! It was sunday late morning, and the place was decently occupied, not too full. There were still some tables left. I like the simplicity vibe of the place as well, minimal but elegant. Since it was my first visit my friend recommended me to get one of the signature drop series, and I settled for the Cream Drop. I am more of a plain black girly, so this was a lot of flavor for me BUT in a good way. The sweetness in the foam was not too overwhelming, and the cacao powder made it interesting. I do enjoy seeing the "drop" effect through the glass :D My friend tried their seasonal item of iced london fog and it was okay. Kind of like the usual london fog just iced. I would come back and try their classic items, since I did see they have their own beans as well.

Came by for some early morning caffeine. Loved the matcha drop. The cream was so smooth and milky. A perfect way to top off good quality matcha. Such a good compliment to the drink. My dad really enjoyed his latte as well. Probably his favorite coffee he tried in Toronto.

I got the matcha drop latte and it was delicious. It has a foam top and lightly sweetened, with a topped off with lavender. The cafe is small but has some seating. They also have some bakery treats, parfait, overnight oats, and sandwiches.

This espresso only cafe is what coffee enthusiasts dream of: knowledgeable staff, minimalist, and sophisticated. As a special occasion, I ordered the Cream Drop and really enjoyed. It is on the sweet side, but worth the one-time indulgence.

Coffee Lunar is one of my regular and this is a haven for those seeking a tranquil space to unwind. There were several people sitting for study regardless of their limited space. The Cream Drop Choco took my taste buds on a delightful journey. The creaminess and richness of the chocolate were simply divine, leaving me craving for more. My friend opted for the Cascara Tonic, a unique and refreshing beverage choice. The interior of Coffee Lunar exudes a zen-like atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The clean and minimalist design creates a serene environment, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the moment.

Self admitted coffee snob. Almost a *ick-head level of coffee snob that makes his own espressos at home. This place of legit!! Great coffee. Nice environment. Beautiful Slayer coffee machine for the coffee nerds.

Cute little cafe! I loved their Matcha Drop drink, I would definitely come back just for that. I only wish there was more seating. It gets a little busy in the afternoon and makes it hard to get a seat if you're with a group. But I understand why Coffee Lunar is so popular!

A stop away from Bloor-Yonge and was going to be in the Yorkville area and wanted some good coffee. I searched and searched the day before and saw this place pop-up, quite inconspicuous and I had never heard of it (but maybe it's because I live under a rock). Had to try it out!! We got: - Vanilla drop latte: I was shocked at how good this tasted. Double shot espresso poured on top of cream and sweet but bitter at the same time. 10/10 - A special menu drink in which I cannot remember the name: Got this for my boyfriend as he does not drink coffee. Sparkling water with a hint of citron and sweetness. It was very refreshing (I came here in the summertime)! 9/10 - Chicken sandwich: Chicken, arugula, cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes on whole wheat bread. Tasted like a yummy homemade sandwich your mom makes, in the best way possible. The sandwich would be elevated even more if they used artisan bread rather than regular plain bread, but for the price I couldn't expect more from them! 8/10 - Avocado sandwich: Avocado, tomatoes, ricotta, with balsamic glaze on whole wheat bread. Delicious - sweet, sour, tangy, and creamy! The balsamic really cuts through the fattiness of the avocado. 9/10 It was a great meal at a very good price. The vanilla drop latte was probably one of the best coffee drinks I'd had in a while! Definitely check this place out, especially if you're a coffee lover! They really know their stuff. My only complaint would be the wait time is a bit long since there are only two people working, but perhaps it is because I went at an inconvenient/busy time. They also recently opened another location in the Newtonbrook neighbourhood, I plan on going their in the near future as it's closer to me!

Coffee Lunar breathes simplicity and minimalism! FOOD - tried their matcha latte (with lactose free milk) and really enjoyed it. it was not that grainy and i found it tasty | 10/10 - they were quite friendly when I came in and ordered. The drink came out quickly AMBIANCE - this cafe is filled with lots of pastel colors and breathes minimalism - they have outlets and it's a laptop friendly spot to work/study at

Really dedicated owner with lots of knowledge on how to craft the best espresso. Offers private coffee courses as well, which is a nice touch to the community to teach Torontonians about specialty coffee. Espresso is well balanced, tailored in my opinion to the palate of those that like chocolate cocoa caramel notes to their espresso shots. Also offers pastries.

First coffee shop I tried in Toronto -- and it was a good one. This Korean cafe is super cute, with tons of seating outside and a variety of inside seating as well (with ample outlets and wifi)! I got the cream drop which was so good. The cream is delicious and not too sweet, and perfectly complements the coffee which is brewed well. The coffee is smooth and naturally sweet (not bitter). The cocoa also adds a nice smell and hint of flavor. I loved working here for a while, and the ambiance of the cafe is amazing!! I'm definitely making my way out here while I'm in Toronto. Definitely must try!

A really great spot, I'm a huge fan of Coffee Lunar. It's in a bit of a random spot on Yonge street, but glad I made the 5 min walk over from Yorkville. Got an espresso tonic - espresso served chilled on sparkling water. It was delicious! I really like the coffee beans they use here. Also tried a bit of the cream drop - not overly sweet and again amazing coffee beans used. Interior was lovely and aesthetic. Nice sit down space, and also some space on the patio outside. Definitely recommend you to check out this place for some unique coffee drinks!!!

Nice spot in an area that could use some GOOD coffee... Was busy today, nice to see business thriving. It was raining, then snowing, then raining again, then it got cold, then the rain turned to ice... and the sidewalks were very slippery......

Super chill cafe in the Rosedale area. It's a good place to study or meet up with a friend. The popular coffee here is their cream drop which is very silky and smooth. I was worried it would be too sweet but it was perfect.

Small but excellent coffee shop. They don't do pourover here, but I was able to try the espresso and some cascara tea. Both were high quality drinks. Recommended if you are in the area.

Get the pastries. Literally the best I've ever had and I'm not even a fan of them typically. Keep in mind to make a reservation, I was really bummed we were able eat in after experiencing the scone the day before

Finally had the chance to visit this super cute and cozy cafe near Rosedale station! I love the aesthetic and vibes of the cafe as well as their drinks + pastries. If you are looking for a spot to study or work you should totally check this place out. There's a decent amount of seating available.

Coffee Lunar has a clean looking and hip vibe. I dropped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy in there, pretty much every table was taken up. I ordered a latte and flat white. If you are looking for alternative milks, they do not carry almond milk, but they do have oat milk. I noticed that the beans that they sell are roasted by Hatch (in Markham), for Coffee Lunar. I guess I won't really have to make an out of the way trip to visit Coffee Lunar as Hatch is closer to home for me. Hatch has good smooth roasts, so you know Coffee Lunar sells good coffee. I wish that Coffee Lunar was around several years ago. An aunt used to live in the building next door and we used to take her out for coffee, but there weren't many options back then......Even to this day still limited small coffee shops selling good coffee, so Coffee Lunar is definitely a good addition to the area.

I put this in my bucket list since moving to Toronto and today I finally checked it in! Definitely perfect place to grab a coffee and for friends hangout. Minimum and clean interiors design & layout makes you really comfortable. It would be so great if we can grab coffee & homemade high-quality bakeries in a cafeteria like this without covid19. It's lucky that you can buy and eat outside this store ( lots of space btw). Don't miss its bakeries if you are a dessert lover hahah I have to say it is tooo amazing! In one word, it is hidden gem in this area and totally worth a try!

Coffee Lunar is located about a 5 min walk from Yonge and Bloor on Yonge. The coffee shop is clean and minimalistic with one communal table, benches, and window seating. They offer a variety of caffeinated beverages and food. I dropped by Coffee Lunar on a Fri evening for a drink. They do have oat milk available as well. The flat white I had was made well and service was friendly. There is free wifi as well if you would like to get some work done. Definitely check out Coffee Lunar if you're around the area!

Very aesthetic cafe near Yorkville, and the barista knows how to make delicious coffee. I tried the cream drop and it's not overly sweet or too heavy. I also picked up a cold brew concentrate that they rotate regularly. The packaging for the cold brew is very aesthetic from the bottle to the packaging! Highly recommend visiting this cafe!

This coffee shop is better for dine-in, it has a decent environment, pretty and bright, good for photos if you're a Instagram fan. However, I don't like the coffee beans they use, it's too sour. And the plastic cup for Togo, doesn't seal very well and it keeps sprinkling out when I was walking.

Simply the best! Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the city, the staff are wonderful and always smiling! I don't have an issue with them taking a bit longer to make the drink, because the precision, care and touch makes the drink extra special. I've been coming here every Sunday for the last 3 months and I've never been disappointed. The cream drop is fantastic, their flat white hits the spot too!

I've studied here several times and had a good experience each time I visited. It isn't very spacious, so be aware that you might not be able to find a seat if you're travelling from far away and were intending to get some studying done. I've had their hot chocolate and peach berry tea and both were pretty good and priced reasonably. Staff are very friendly as well.

Really love this coffee shop for the minimalist vibe + affordable coffee! Peaceful, soothing, minimalist aesthetic vibe, with interesting artwork and plants. Would be a great place to study or sit with friends when things open up. Even during this time though, there is a small patio seating area outside (~ 4 seats), as well as a little courtyard that we sit on sometimes. They have great espresso-based drinks that are affordably priced (e.g., flat white for $3.50), and they always take care to craft it well. There are some interesting items on the menu as well, such as the cream drop (espresso + whipped cream?) and the espresso tonic (espresso + sparkling water). Just for comparison... Sorry Coffee around the corner also uses Seth Taylor beans and their drinks cost 10-20% more!) Food selection is great as well, they have small toasts and sandwiches, as well as cookies and scones. We've tried the matcha pistachio scone and the chocolate walnut cookie and both were great, though I prefer my cookies a bit more gooey and crispy, so preferred the scone over the cookie. The scone was great - not too sweet and not too dry! For those looking for early bird specials, they have 10% off food + drink combo if you order from 8am - 11am :) Lastly, they also have dried flowers for sale from Thyme Studios, as well as high quality merch (branded Kinto tumblers, cute tote bag with their logo, and pourover coffee makers and filters).

I've visited Coffee Lunar twice and have had a great experience both times. The cafe has an Asian minimalist aesthetic and feels very relaxing. The coffee is great tasting and is made with precision, there is usually only one barista, so it may take a little longer to get your drink, but it is worth it for the extra care they put into each drink. For those who aren't looking for coffee, I recommend the black milk tea.

The best atmosphere and drinks, a lot of seating available. Great for studying or grabbing a coffee with someone. The baristas are wonderful, always there for you to have a good time. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

It's located right next to my church and I love this little coffee shop! It has a great summer menu right now like the berry tea and my fav drink is the cream drop.

The cozy cafe right beside my gym. The latte tasted delicious at exactly warm temperature. Staff are efficient and friendly. Def one of my fav cafes in the city.

Clean, minimal, and great value! None of those extra charges to make a drink iced that other cafes do. The fig and cheese toast was simple, but really tasty and filling! The staff was so friendly they offered me some of their cookies to sample. Aesthetics on point they make you feel like you're in a Korean cafe vlog , you know exactly what I mean ;)

I had stopped by after walking through Ramsden Park. Lunar is a beautiful minimalist space and very friendly and safe given the current distancing model we are all in this summer and for the foreseeable future. The iced drinks are perfect and the roaster Seth Taylor's beans are perfect and different from the standard Toronto beans you see around. Jay is very friendly and kind to customers and seems to know everyone. He gave good recommendations! Definitely stop by.

Amazing pumpkin spice latte best I've ever had. Super cute and delicious pastries. It's very close to my dogs vet it's the perfect place for a warm beverage and snack while waiting outside for my dog to finish he vet appointment. I love their pastries so much for my bfs birthday I got him a box of their super cute pound cake instead of a birthday cake absolutely love the chocolate pound cake and I'm not normally even a chocolate person. The lemon pound cake is all good and very aesthetic. Their scones are a must especially the earl Grey one perfect with a morning coffee. The staff is super friendly all around a very sweet neighborhood Cafe I feel lucky to have them close by. If ur ever walking ur dog at ramsden park they also a great place to grab a cup of coffee

Wonderful coffee, great staff, their space has a great vibe and design. Clean, excellent cleaning procedures. Glad to see this place survived the COVID train.
