Really cool concept, the woman that led us into the bar was very expressive in her story telling. Once we were inside, there was a magician going around to different tables which was a unique experience. Great layout to the bar, and was perfect for our larger group as they had different sections depending on group size. Cocktails and food were good. Definitely recommend.

This is the coolest bar / restaurant / front end to mysteteries I've been too in Toronto. And all over the world there are still mysterious shops out there. Like the corndog place with a phone booth. The bubble tea shop with a vending machine. And who can forget [REDACTED], am i right? AWESOME new menu of drinks, VERY friendly staff, AND currently home to the immersive theatre production, Sweet Sorrow! Like... why you still reading this? Get tickets now!!! (It's so good, itll take you back to that hotel in NYC where it all began).

Amazing bar tucked away on king street. Amazing wine menu and innovative cocktail. Great place for an afterhours business meeting, tinder date or besties birthday.

First I wanna shoutout our host/the guy at the front of store, because he had so much enthusiasm and energy to bring us for the "champagne tour" and was just all around very happy and making jokes, even though I know he's probably sick of acting like that all the time, and maybe multiple times a day haha. For the drinks at À toi, they were quite good. I really liked the small pink one, I think it was called Les annees folles. It was sweet with a hint of grapefruit and perfect for my intolerance of liquor taste 😂. The oysters (regular, not dressed) were very small and they only provide one type of oyster so you can't pick. They weren't bad but I was expecting them to be a bit bigger and maybe come with more sauce. Service here is really good; our server was always easy to flag down. She gave good drink recommendations and was friendly and informative. The music selection, however, didn't fit the vibes of dark/retro/Parisian. I was expecting maybe something more jazzy or akin to speakeasy tunes, but it was all pop hits or remixes of pop hits, which felt a bit off. Not a dealbreaker tho, just something I noticed while I was there. Overall a unique experience and fun to bring a date or friends. It got super packed around/after 9pm even on a Wednesday night, but luckily we already had made reservations for 7:30 (it wasn't busy at all at that time either).

We went for the Sweet Sorrow show and it was much better than we expected! The ambience of the bar is amazing, the food is delicious and the drinks are fabulous. Our hostess Jess was so kind and gave us a 5-star treatment. We'll definitely come back!

Great set up for a speakeasy, and the decor was top-notch. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Higher priced cocktails, but it seems to be expected based on the venue. Cocktail execution is 3 out of 5 It's a lot of shaking for show, but still a good bar solid cocktails. This place with a few tweaks can be awesome.
