Really nice hostel! Amazing view over the mountains and really friendly staff. The dogs are cute as well and there is plenty of opportunity to get to know other travellers if you join the activities. The room was great, but unfortunately we heard a lot of noise from the street and from the rennovations that were being made. This was definitely a bummer when we wanted to chill.

Spend almost one week in this hostel and I loved it! The people here are super friendly and welcoming. The hostel is clean and breakfast is included. There’s even hot water showers. The laundry was fast and clean, everyone was very helpful and I loved the views.

Had a fantastic stay here! Welcoming staff, always activities on, lovely view from the main deck and our room. Decent breakfast each morning! 5 min easy walk into the center square of the town.

A wonderful hotel in Salento! Came here for the weekend from Medellin and this hotel was a great escape from the noisy and bustle to a quiet resort in nature. The bed is excellent, and so are the pillows - better than the bed I have at home! Very comfortable. Spacious rooms and they have balconies attached to get the fresh mountain air. A few things that I did not love here is that it’s a bit remote from town. Yes only 5-10 minute walk but it’s 5+ minutes to get anywhere from here. And there is nothing at the hotel to buy if getting after hours, not even bottles of water. They provide two small ones on check in day, but wouldn’t replenish of offer additional ones for multi day stays. Do note also they have two large dogs that live and roam around on property.

A stay full of warmth and kindness We had a truly wonderful stay. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. One moment really stood out: it started raining just as we were loading our bags onto the bus, and they immediately came out with an umbrella to help us, without us even asking. A small gesture, but full of care. Kindness like that isn’t so common these days. Thank you for everything!

We had a single room. FYI We arrived with Flota Ospina from medellin to Pereira and then took an uber from Pereira to Salento, i think this is one of the most stress free and still affordable ways to arrive. The Dogs are super cute and the breakfast is freshly made

At risk of exaggeration, this might be my favourite hostel I have ever stayed in. For a three night trip, I got to make the most of the most incredible balconies and range of calm outdoor and indoor spaces to listen to the birds and look out at the surrounding hills. The location on the edge of town makes it incredibly peaceful, although I don’t know if anywhere in Salento is very noisy apart from maybe around the plaza principal / Calle real at night. The hostel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect. I really love how the dorms are arranged with the beds side on with dividers (I don’t have any pics but maybe another review will!), it felt more private like a ‘pod’. I was amazed at how quiet it was at night, I slept like a baby (maybe also exhausted from days of hiking and sun). I did the yoga class offered one day, which was really lovely (I don’t think I got the instructors name but thank you <3). The yoga studio is very nice, and I think they offer classes that people not staying in the hostel can also do. There were some other activities but I didn’t do them. As someone who prefers a quiet place to a party hostel, this was absolutely perfect for me, but people were also very friendly and sociable. I also went on the ocaso coffee tour, which was recommended and booked through the hostel reception, and this was wonderful!

Nice hotel and nice staff Very flexible as we arrived very late in the evening I was in contact with them via WhatsApp and they could give me all indications Our room was very good and confortable bed but unfortunately we didn’t have much light as the window was small. I didn’t as to change as we had a family room and the kids liked their bunk beds. The hotel has a wonderful view and it is calm during the day. It is a little further away from the main square but we didn’t mind as we have kids so it is calm in the evening . Be prepared to be woken up by the rooster and dogs in the morning so bring some earplugs.
