The best coffee ☕️ shop in town😀 A little out of the way but well worth the effort to get there ( round by the minster in the town centre) 😀 Excellent service and great tea, freshly made, and ☕️ Quite small but you can sit in or outside 😀 Cakes and other goodies available, even selling branded bags and tee shirts😀 Forget the big coffee players. If you like good coffee go and check them out 😀 Highly recommended 😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nice little coffee shop with good coffee and a wide selection of drinks and beans. Friendly staff and a relaxed feel. Sadly there wasn’t much food available. Note that Google Maps still shows old photos and menus — it used to offer far more food options.

One of my favourite coffee spots in Reading! The staff are always so sweet and welcoming, and the coffee is consistently fab – smooth, rich, and made with care. I love sitting outside, especially on a sunny day, as it has such a relaxed vibe. A perfect place to unwind with a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

Served by a young guy who had been working there for about 3 months, he was friendly and knew what he was doing. I had a Cortado and a chocolate slice thing, which was sensationally good. Flavoursome and strong coffee. Cool vibe. Would definitely go out of my way to come here again should I return to Reading.

An absolute gem for coffee lovers. The care and precision that goes into every cup at C.U.P. Coffee (Coffee Under Pressure) is something special—these people really understand coffee culture. You can taste the dedication in every sip. The service is warm and knowledgeable, and the baristas are always happy to chat or recommend something new. The atmosphere is made even more unique by the stunning artworks from local artist Valentina González. Her pieces bring the space to life and are genuinely captivating—it's like sipping great coffee inside a gallery. A perfect spot whether you're a coffee nerd, a casual drinker, or just looking for inspiration.

I had an iced latte & gluten free brownie, both were delicious. 10/10, would recommend both. They have a large outside seating area too! I did wait 15-20 minutes to be served as there was only one barista on the shop floor. Also, milk alternatives are at an extra cost.

Very friendly atmosphere. Me and my friends have been looking for a good cafe for a while now in reading with a nice seating area and we’ve finally found it. Always packed and active, great coffee with various different choices of coffee beans. Personally the most important aspect in any restaurant/cafe is service, this cafe has the best baristas in town that consistently produce high quality drinks. Not only are they consistent, but I always have a great chat with them whilst ordering my drink, even on a busy Saturday they always make time to greet and checkup on you. Once you start becoming a regular, the baristas will memorize your order which I found pretty cool and made me feel this sense of care from them. Definitely recommend this cafe for anyone in Reading, best in town!
