Visited here from out of town. Located in local neighbor neighborhood streets. Basic coffee selection, eco friendly cups, freshly made pastries. I’m an almond croissant fanatic and found myself really liking their almond croissant (thick filling).

Google
Place was wheelchair accessable, food was very good and the guy taking out order was very helpful with questions about allergens.

Google
Coffeebar Mt Rose is by far the best location. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help when you’re at a loss looking at their well-stocked menu. Everything is delicious and I just can’t say enough about the excellent vibes. Also, cutest merch I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop! I use my mug and the staff make it clear that they love supporting waste-free!

Google
Great coffee!!! Great burritos! Great atmosphere inside and out. They take forever to make your coffee. But it is really good once you get it.

Google
Great spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee and matcha were delicious, staff friendly, and cool merch!

Stopped here on our way out and back to Sacramento during our road trip to Denver. Loved this gem of a coffee shop. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Their service was delightful and efficient. They even pointed out their deal for buying beans on Monday that saved us some money when we were going to make separate purchases. They always seem to brew two selections for black coffee, with both being delicious. Their lemon blueberry scone also hit the spot for an afternoon sweet snack. A little bit off the freeway and into a neighborhood, it was worth the trek for a brief break and recharge.

Rubi is great, appreciate her knowledge on coffee. Overall great experience, atmosphere and quality of food and drinks.

Google
So cozy, and the only good option I saw during my visit open at 6:00 AM. I got the Wildflower pourover, which was bright and balanced. Not the best I've ever had, but legitimately worth the $6 price. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was absolutely lovely. Coming from Austin, TX, it made me homesick for the 3rd Wave shops I love so much.

Yelp
A cute and cozy ambiance to get an amazing coffee! You can sit inside or outside! It was a little chilly so we ate inside. The coffee bar offers a huge selection of teas, coffee, pastries and sandwiches! We ordered a latte with oat milk and a chai tea latte! Hands down one of the best coffee bars in Reno! My daughter and I also shared an egg sandwich with avocado as a light snack! It was delicious ! The grilled onions with the jalapeño sauce melted in our mouths! What a great spot to fuel your day! Thank you!

Yelp
Hands down the best coffee in Reno! We're from Sacramento, but every time we're in Reno for a few days, we make multiple stops here. I usually go for an iced oat milk latte, but on our last visit, I tried the seasonal Maple Pecan latte (half sweet), and it was PERFECT! There's something about the espresso here that keeps you coming back. The quality is definitely a notch above other coffee spots in Reno. The service is fantastic, and the snacks are just as good--don't miss the chocolate croissant!

Yelp
Fuckin excellent vibes! This is a great spot to meet friends. The music the afternoon I went in was classic punk rock and SpongeBob was playing silently on the tv in the front corner. The person who helped me was outstandingly personable and had a great sense of humor. The iced mocha and panini I got were perfect. The worker recommended the caprice panini with added prosciutto and I'm stoked I took his recommend. Definitely a solid spot to call a second home or meet up with friends.

Yelp
Coffee bar is one of my Guilty pleasures! The Coffee is excellent. My favorite is the iced vanilla latte. Atmosphere is cozy. Service is quick and friendly. Bummer they don't have a location in south Reno!
google avatar

Yelp
First off the service was really nice. The girl who took our order was very sweet and welcoming. I was having a bad day and she made it better. She recommended the cinnamon oatmeal cookie and I absolutely loved it. It's a huge cookie, so I ate it for 2 days lol. The mocha wasn't very sweet. It was more like unsweetened cocoa powder which my boyfriend enjoyed. And I got an iced caramel latte with regular milk. It was ok, it also wasn't very sweet which is fine, but there was something about it that I just didn't care for. I liked the ambiance of the place and the cool artwork on the walls. I'd definitely come back for another pastry and to try a different drink.

Yelp
Overall this is the best coffee place in reno. The location is nestled into the old reno area of midtown. The coffee vibes are real here, for instance on some of the bad weather days in reno people with nothing to do show up here to catch the best coffee and just enjoy the day. The menu covers hot and iced beverages. My recommendations are the iced and hot lattes, americano, dark coffee blends, and the cold brew! Like I said it's the best location of theirs and overall the best coffee joint for true caffeine addicts!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a couple of lattes, we were there for a short time, but we enjoyed the place. It has a good urban vibe, different products you'd like, and a relax atmosphere everyone seemed to enjoyed. The people there were kind and provided prompt service. We had a good time today.

Yelp
Yelp check-in = 1 free add shot. Quality/Quantity - Okay, but maybe it's my fault. I thought they would have more pastries options. So my daughter insisted we go to another place, also... See other Yelp. But their croissants are huge! Not sure what happened to my picture... Also available: Breakfast, lunch, beer, wine, etc. I am told to try their Belgian waffles...? Next time. Atmosphere - Indoor/outdoor seating, too cold to sit outside today. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 6pm. Next to Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub. Service - Okay, really busy today. 3 (slow) customers in front of us, other customers waiting around for their orders, etc. I like your "Borrow a Cup" program. If I lived closer, I might consider this. Price - Not sure, as we rushed out of there because my daughter wanted to hit another bakery, which was not part of my schedule... Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2014 and 2010 in Truckee; we used to get our coffee from you when we were in Truckee.

Yelp
Worth a visit! This is a great little cafe. I've visited the other Coffeebar locations in town and enjoyed them greatly; this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the coffee was good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Though the place was busy, I was able to find a table for four very quickly and our order was ready shortly thereafter. Of all the food and drink my group tried, I was especially impressed by the oat bowls, which were full to the brim with fresh fruits and nuts. The pastries were also delicious and went well with their coffee. Perhaps the only downside to this location is that it is relatively small, but again I had no issue getting served and seated even when they were busy, so it is a small downside at that. I definitely think this is a good option if you're looking for a cafe in the area!

Yelp
Came here with a friend in the morning and had a wonderful time. The inside is adorable! I love the vibe this place has. They also have outdoor seating which is a huge plus and also many seating inside. The staff were so kind and gave us details on what certain drinks tasted like which help us figure out what we wanted. Once we ordered, it was done fairly quickly and you go and pick up your drinks. The foot came out quickly as well and it not only looked tasty, it also was. My avocado toast was the perfect texture for bread, not too crunchy. The avocado was fresh and ripe and the egg was perfectly cooked. My friend had the burrito and said it had good flavor and was filling when she thought it wouldn't be. Overall, great coffee to come with friends or get some busy work done!

Yelp
Loved this place. I love searching small coffee shops and this one is a gem. Very nice inside. I saw lots of people working privately. The coffee is so delicious and so are the breakfast items. Definitely worth a stop.

Yelp
We visited coffee bar twice in Reno. I got the lavender coconut milk latte which is really great for all my obnoxious dietary restrictions. My husband got iced coffees, chocolate croissant, and ham and cheese croissant. He said they were both phenomenal. They do have a time limit on the Wi-Fi so if you intend to pop a squat for a long time you may be out of luck (the time limit is two hours and 15 minutes). Their chairs are kind of uncomfortable and it wasn't just us. There was a group of people sitting behind us that also complained about the chairs, but they fit the vibe. They also had outdoor seating. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

Yelp
Some might think Reno is all about casinos. However, the biggest little city in the world offers a very generous coffee scene with well over two dozen locally owned and operated shops. And since they experience all four seasons, cold (and at times, snowy) winters with hot summers, you more or less get a little bit of everything. This takes me to "Coffeebar" which as multiple locations in Reno as well as Olympic (formerly 'Squaw') Valley, Truckee, and Redwood City. The location I am reviewing their Midtown Reno location. Located directly at the corner of Mt Rose St. and Landler St., this Coffeebar has been operating since early-2014. Even though they were founded in Truckee CA, (about 35 miles west of Reno) most of their roasteries are in the Reno metropolitan area. Since this was my first time trying their coffee, I decided to visit their main location which has well over 750 Yelp reviews (as of July 2023). I arrived here during the morning of Saturday 7/1/2023 at around 10:25am on what was looking like to be a very hot summer day. Parking was relatively easy to find especially in this neighborhood where it is quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of S. Virginia St. and nearby casinos. The exterior part of the building showcases cream-colored walls with the business sign in brown directly above the main entrance. The inside though is exceptionally designed with brick walls that flow throughout complete with dark wooden floors, exposed wooden beams from the ceiling, and a hallway style area that leads from the front to the bar and eventually to the sitting area. In addition to their vast amount of coffees, espresso drinks, and teas, they offer a very generous selection of food items. This includes full-on breakfast options including a Chorizo Burrito, Veggie Burrito, Egg Sandwich, and Avocado Toast as well as lunch options including panini sandwiches, salads, even rice bowls. And of course you have your standard croissants, muffins, scones, and cookies. This is truly the type of place where you can spend hours enjoying your hot or iced beverage, have a hearty meal, and just enjoy the day. Since I was saving my appetite for lunch, I decided to go with their hot vanilla latte. Best of all, when I checked-in on the Yelp app, I was able to get an additional shot of espresso at no extra charge! Not bad since I had a very busy day ahead of me. I settled at the outside courtyard area. This area is absolutely beautiful with a few small gardens and fresh flowers and large communal-styled wooden benches. Once my latte was ready, I sipped it and immediately enjoyed how savory this was. It was a bit stronger than normal (with that extra shot) so that was a major plus. All in all, the Midtown Reno "Coffeebar" was as good as it gets and arguably a must visit if you happen to visit (or are a local to) the Reno area. They sell a ton of merchandise including coffee mugs/glasses/thermoses, t-shirts, hats, ground coffee beans, and much more. And finally, they even offer a full-on wine menu. With that said and done, I am giving the Midtown Coffeebar location a unanimous five-star rating.

Yelp
Such a cute place, service was great staff was super sweet. Energy was so welcoming it's a locals place but also definitely for a pacing through town trip. Coffee and breakfast was delicious
google avatar

Stacy R.

Yelp
Cute place we found thanks to Yelp! Place was crazy busy on a Saturday morning. Took some time to get my coffee, I was half way through my scone when it was finally ready. I'm willing to go back to try other items.

Yelp
It's so hard not to love coffeebar. Their coffee is so delicious and they offer some pretty exciting special and holiday flavors. Even the food is good! This place is always packed inside and out Springtime patio seating is a great place to meet friends and family, and if you're lucky enough to elbow your way into an inside seat, you'll find plenty of people working, reading, or studying
google avatar

Yelp
Favorite go to spot after I get adjusted at the chiropractor or around midtown in general. Staff are friendly, the coffee and food are second to none, and the modern decor with a local emphasis makes it a homey spot to be.
google avatar

Joanna L.

Yelp
Cozy ambiance with excellent service! A perfect spot for relaxation, studying, and enjoying great coffee. Limited outlets so charge up before, and unfortunately no rewards points/incentives for continued customers. Perfect outdoor shade and great menu selection!
google avatar

Mickey H.

Yelp
Coffee bar is a great example of the modern coffee joint. People gathering at tables to share their morning, laptop keys clicking away and the smell and sound of scratch made baked goods melding with a hundred different coffee aromas. Its like a got shower after a hard days work. You feel cozy here and you wanna stay. I'm not a coffee drinker (i know, i know) so i cant comment there. But their baked goods are really good. And u can watch them being made by hand.

Yelp
I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area! Coming into town from Graeagle, my wife and I were looking for a nice spot to snag a coffee and a quick bite as well as a place to catch up with an old friend. Coffee Bar is a great choice for anyone looking to snag a weekend coffee/pastry to go or if you're looking to sit and hang they have so much seating available - inside and outside. The service was awesome, they have so many options in their fresh baked pastry's and muffins that it took some time to decide. The coffee was delish along with both the lemon poppyseed muffin and breakfast burrito.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
Maybe it is because I travel a great deal for work, but there's something very peaceful and settling for me to find a great coffeehouse where I can start my morning by sitting back and enjoying great coffee, read atmosphere, and no need to rush about anything. All the coffee is top right here, excellent barista's, excellent options, and a wide variety of good food and pastries
google avatar

James Y.

Yelp
Cute little cafe with inside and outdoor seating that also offers craft beer. With a nice selection of baked goods and hand crafted coffees and beverages, Coffeebar is a nice place to visit for your morning outing. Service was also nice and quick with your orders. I will add that this place was very crowded with your standard students, workers, and adults meeting up with friends. Quite the crowd! With some learning in the private lot and street parking, it's easy to visit Coffeebar to get your morning fix. The cappuccino was made well and the pastries were tasty! We had a ham and cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant and they both didn't disappoint. Would visit again!

Yelp
Third coffee shop I visited this weekend! This one was really good. The vanilla latte was delicious and well presented. They had food which was a huge plus. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was also delicious. I will say it's a cool place to get some work done or weekend brunch meet up with indoor and outdoor seating. The barista and staff were so nice and communicated well and obviously know how to make a great latte. I would say it could use a good floor cleaning though and the tables you bus yourself so if a customer doesn't pick up after themselves it looks messy. They did have a sign for under staff that day which may be the reason for the slight messiness. They are also very busy so the latte took a minute but I was not in a hurry and was worth the wait. I would return if I was in the area!!
google avatar

Dani H.

Yelp
Very cute coffee spot! There is a ton of parking and seating indoors, with a few outdoor spots as well. My drink was a little on the pricier side $8 for a matcha. The barista was super friendly and the guy who took my order was also. I had a few questions on the menu and felt like everything was communicated efficiently. Their pastries also looked amazing but I was just grabbing a drink. Check this spot out if you are on this side of town!
google avatar

Fritzie W.

Yelp
Always an upbeat and inviting vibe when I come here. A great meeting spot for clients and friends to share a nice cup of goodness. I love getting the matcha latte with oat milk or their mocha latte, and as always, enjoy the latte art. . Today I tried the ham and cheese croissant and it was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Always quick and friendly service! Thank you.

Yelp
Been coming to the Coffeebar since my college days and it continues to get better with time. I love a good coffee bar vibe and aesthetic in general because it's the perfect balance of chill but I can still get some work done. Today was a casual visit with a friend enjoying our beautifully made Lavender Latte's and catching up. One thing that always stands out to me at the Coffeebar is that no matter how much traffic the place gets it's never too loud or chaotic and I love that! Menu items we ordered today included the lavender latte's(hot), breakfast croissant, quinoa bowl, and honey almond latte(iced). All items were good, my friend just wished her iced latte came in a cute cup like the lavender latte's, but she survived. We were helped by the awesome Rodrigo. He was very chill and good at recommending menu items and substitutions for my friend and I. Rodrigo had a very positive attitude and wore a smile the entire time while working with us and others who came in to order. Go Rodrigo! Overall, great visit today and we plan to return in a few weeks. Keep up the great work Coffeebar Team!

Yelp
Great place to hang out with friends, or just want to enjoy a cup of coffee. I like this place, great vibe! The service is good and fast.

Yelp
The avocado toast was really good. I got the caramel latte with oat milk, it was made in point.

Yelp
Had 6 nights in Reno for work, and found this gem of a coffee shop. As a barista who has 7 different ways at home to make coffee and has been to some of the best artisan shops in the U.S. and abroad, my standards are high. They simply bring it ... even though I wish they had a single origin, light roast option. But in every other respect they excel. The staff / servers are superb, the vibe is 5-stars, the outdoor patio is beautiful. If I'm ever in Reno again I'll be back.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
The staff is very nice. Great location. Nice outdoor area. Always a good stop for a coffee fix. Enjoy the lava see latte, lemon blueberry scone, avocado toast. A relaxing place to take a break on a busy day.
google avatar

Kiana M.

Yelp
Coffeebar is so good, their avocado toast and lavender latte with oat milk is my go to order. I love the indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always great of course. One of my highly recommended coffee shops in the area.
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Second time there, and it didn't disappoint. Turmeric Decongestant tea, a lot of sunlight, and space to get work done. Definitely going back.
google avatar

Mason H.

Yelp
AMAZING COFFEE and pastries! No complaints, we will be back. The carmel iced coffee was a treat, and the ham and cheese went hard.
google avatar

Derek M.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere, fresh coffee, and nice Merch. Food options were excellent, but I didn't have it in me to try those huge cinnamon rolls on my own. I'll need help for those.
google avatar

Tamami T.

Yelp
It's a cozy, trendy-feel cafe that I didn't know about until recently. It's always busy, and people tend to stay here to work/study. I had matcha latte twice here; it's solid. Nice matcha aroma. Haven't had a chance to have any food items yet, but according to my friends, it's good. This cafe exhibits local artists' work. Oh, by the way, funny you should ask... I am currently showing my paintings here, until the end of February 2023. My paintings tend to be on the darker hue, and they don't show very well on their brick walls, but I am very happy about this opportunity. Thanks, Coffeebar, for supporting local artists! You rock.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
While in Reno, wanted to try some local coffee. The reviews were amazing, so we decided to give this place a try. I had a caramel latte and my BF had it iced..AMAZING! We also decided to grab breakfast, and we both had the avocado toast with a poached egg. Again, AMAZING! Our daughter wanted a muffin, so we went with their berry muffin, and again equally amazing! Fresh berries in the muffin, it was delightful and it's a score when your 5 year old eats the whole thing. I will say the prices are a bit high, I believe I spent around $41 plus a tip for this visit, however it was a treat for us, and we definitely plan on returning when in Reno.
google avatar

Joanne E.

Yelp
I haven't been here since before Covid and I'm glad I came back. They have improved on their menu and drink selection. The baked goods aren't quite as good as my other favorite coffee shop but still better than most. I'm looking forward to next time when they haven't run out of so much. I should know better than to order ice tea in a "coffee bar" and next time I'm going to try some of the different roasts. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a couple of dark roasts. What I like about the atmosphere here is it's open and airy but not loud or like an echo chamber. They have also found the perfect level to play the music at. Low enough so as to no be intrusive but loud enough to be able to recognize the songs. I'm not going to comment on the service because I'm just not sure how I feel about it. All in all I'm pleased with everything and will be going back.
google avatar

Jerell M.

Yelp
Before the trek back home over the Sierras, opted to stop here for coffee. I ordered the special honey almond latte and a snickerdoodle cookie. The cookie was tasty but felt a bit stale (really crunchy on the ends, and the middle was hard). The coffee had a nice flavor and felt real, but I prefer my coffee to be a little stronger. Prices are what I would expect ~$6, but I don't know if I would order the drink again. Staff was fine and patient while we browsed the menu. Highlight of the restaurant was the ambience - tons of space inside, but the outside was a very well-kept garden area that I would love to study in if weather isn't snowy or 100 degrees.
google avatar

Toni R.

Yelp
Always a great place to come and study. They have a decent matcha latte and I love that their breakfast burrito has both black beans and potatoes lol. You can sit both indoors and outside, just make sure you come early on weekends or it gets pretty busy!
google avatar

Jordan J.

Yelp
Coffee bar makes great caffeinated drinks! I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to see what Reno's coffee scene is like. This place is beautiful inside and out! Great place to study/hang out. The outside patio is a gem! They also have great food options, my personal favorite is the oatmeal paired with a black coffee. The service here is great! Sometimes can be a bit busy/backed up but it's definitely worth it and the staff remains nice and attentive.

Jin L.

Yelp
What a cute place for breakfast/brunch! We were welcomed by a warmth gentleman when we walked in, and that's all it takes to put a smile on our faces. We ordered a matcha latte, bacon avocado toast, egg sandwich and a huge cinnamon roll. All were so good! We will definitely come back the time we are in Reno.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Good spot for a warm drink on a cold morning. The shop has a nice seating area, you can also order food.
google avatar

Clare S.

Yelp
The shakshuka was perfect! Lots of tasty tomatoes, red bell peppers, a poached egg (extra $ for a 2nd egg) with the signature middle eastern spices, and a sprinkling of herbs! (Not 'hot' spicy, just delicious!) A slice of toast fingers for dipping are a great side! My iced latte was perfect! But next time I will try their Ube Latte (Ube - purple sweet potato from the Philippines)! Great service, both indoor and outdoor seating. (Too sunny on the Monday morning in July 2023 that I was there.) Try the shakshuka, you'll love it! BTW, it does not appear on the online menu! That's a mistake in my opinion.
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
I really like the coffee! They do cute hearts on the lattes and have free WiFi, which works super well. My only wish is they had more outlets to use. It also does get very busy on the weekend afternoons!

Alan R.

Yelp
Coffee is ok. Disappointed that they just left my drink on the bar (getting cold) because they didn't write my name down. Plenty of other coffee places to go to in Reno.

CT B.

Yelp
Friendly staff serving delicious coffee. Flavored coffees were not too sweet which I appreciated. Tasty pastries as well.
google avatar

Alexa K.

Yelp
I love this place! It is consistently good every time I have come here. During my last visit, I used the online ordering functionality and my drink was ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. I got an iced vanilla latte - so good! I also ordered the avocado toast to go, and only had to wait a couple of minutes for it to be ready. I got a bag of coffee beans to go as well to enjoy during the week at home. The ambiance inside is quiet and peaceful. One of my favorite coffee places in town!
google avatar

Renee W.

Yelp
Coffeebar. It's tucked back in a neighborhood and is a little challenging to find. It's cute inside and smells wonderful. Artsy vibe. 2 stars as the barista was not friendly whatsoever and acted like I was inconveniencing him by ordering a very simple cold brew.
