Loved the food and the service. Calm atmosphere. There were people brunching and people working. Lovely staff. The only thing to improve: The only type of meat they have is pork (bacon). There is no other sandwich option (for example turkey / peito de peru). We just ordered the dishes without bacon.

Far too expensive for anything, ended up paying 200 reais for small portions of food with only a tiny slice of bread (we got the combos expecting them to be big). Hey forgot my bacon and when they fought it it was cold, ridiculously small slices that were burnt to a crisp. Service is almost at 20% which isn’t justifiable. Blueberry pancakes were just regular very sweet pancakes with 3 blueberries on top. Wouldn’t go again and wish we hadn’t tried - insane rating for what you get.

Amazing bistro/café! Ideal for breakfast. In my opinion one of the best bistros in town. Prices are ok, food is delicious. Absolutely a must-go-to place.

Service was nice, food ok, WiFi terrible for working. Its constam goes in and out. They make registering for WiFi like signing up for the military. There’s like 5 steps to actually get the WiFi then it doesn’t even work properly

Fantastic coffee and great breakfast options - typical contemporary cafe food. Wait staff more interested in talking amongst themselves than looking after customers Interesting twist on smoked salmon - not quite the usual Tasal but still pretty good.

The place looks very nice, is air-conditioned and very comfortable. The food and drinks look and taste great, although the "traditional Italian" capuccino is not as traditional as the name would have you believe. The foam is a very solid layer of white, dense foam that floats on top of the coffee and does not 'melt' into the coffee such as with a good traditional cappuccino. It is as if they have used a Aeroccino, which is not to be expected of a place that calls itself "Coffeetown, the American coffee and cake co.". The capuccino has no form of latte art whatsoever, it is all white on top of the coffee. However, the cappuccino tastes better than any capuccino that I have tried in the north-east of Brazil. The cold brew coffee comes in various flavours, which are actually different than the ones on the menu. We tried the vanilla and the lemon and cayenne pepper ones. They both have a slight aroma of vanilla and coffee and the smell is very nice. However, the taste is very disappointing. It mostly tastes like water with a hint of coffee, but it definitely does not feel like your drinking coffee. The vanilla and lemon and cayenne pepper are nowhere to be found in the taste palette of the drinks. Also, there is some oil floating on top after you poured the drink into a glass, which looks unappetizing. The cold brews are served cold, but not very cold and they do not come with ice. The place serves mostly western foods and drinks and though it tastes good, it lacks quality, especially for the price. But it is as close as you can get to a western cuisine in north-east Brazil, at least in my experience. The foods that are supposed to be warm, such as waffles and pancakes are not really hot, which is unfortunate as this means that the ice cream and butter do not melt at all. The waffles come with strawberry and banana, but in minimal amounts. On the menu, where it says "waffles" it is supposed to say "waffle", but as you will see, the English menu is full of mistakes, which, in some cases can make a huge difference. For example, the bread which is made with yeast is called "bread made with natural fermentation". The pancakes that are displayed on the menu look very nice and American style, but the real thing is more minimal. As you can see in the picture, you only get three pancakes, which are, as said, not very hot, so you really have to smear the butter, which ruptures the pancakes a bit. You get one topping with your pancake and you have to pay for additional toppings. I suggest you take the maple syrup as first topping, as it is R$ 8 (~2€/2$) as additional topping. The most disappointing thing about this place has to be the staff which is extremely grumpy and incredibly inflexible. We arrived at the front door 4 minutes before they opened and there simply was no discussing the possibility of entering before opening time, which is very annoying as it was quite hot and crowded with flying insects outdoors that day. Further, they have fruit and granola, as well as yoghurt and granola on the menu. However, if you want fruit and yoghurt, you are going to have a bit of a problem. In the first place the staff will tell you that they do not have this option. After discussing for a few minutes they said they could bring fruit and granola, with the addition of yoghurt. But, what you get is a very small glass with some yoghurt. The fruit and yoghurt tastes good, but it is very expensive for some fruit and yoghurt and it is a lot of hassle to get it. And last but not least, the staff can look quite annoyed just to be working there. Every time I looked at the waitress to order she looked like she was just complete and utterly annoyed with her life. Also, when I pulled out my camera I immediately got asked to put it away, because only pictures taken with phones are allowed. And although the name, ambience and menu will have you believe it is an America-oriented place, none of the staff speaks the slightest bit of English. Even as we tried to order waffles we noticed that they pronounce it in an almost unrecognizable way.
