"For Zagreb’s best cup of kava (coffee), head to this tiny café just steps from Flower Square. Run by two men—both named Matija and equally serious about coffee—this funky spot offers specialty coffees, sourced seasonally and roasted on-site. Whether you try the smooth Tesla Blend, a matcha latte, or a refreshing espresso tonic (a shot of fruity coffee from Kenya or Rwanda, mixed with top-notch tonic), you’re in for a treat. Pair your drink with one of the superb pastries by Korica, then head to an alfresco table to enjoy your afternoon snack in the sun."

Outstanding specialty coffee in Zagreb Cogito Coffee is the place to go if you value true specialty coffee. They brew with V60 and offer beans from different origins — including El Salvador, Ethiopia, Sofia, and even projects from Colombian women who shifted from coca to coffee farming. The atmosphere is simple yet welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind. On my second visit, two baristas were working, and the service was just as pleasant as the first day. Watching the preparation is part of the experience: every variable — water temperature, pouring technique, timing — is carefully managed, and the result is a cup that fully justifies the price. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy coffee prepared with real expertise in Zagreb.

The latte was really good. The atmosphere was lively, but I was able to work without any issues. The Wi-Fi was okay , there were power outlets available, and they accept card payments, so it felt very convenient and reassuring. Thank you for the lovely environment:)

Excellent coffee and very good service! I took V60 and pack of coffee home. Everything is nice. Moreover there is a calm place with sunny and shaded places in the yard and the inside tables too.

Well a nice coffee shop in the city center which opens early in the morning compared to some other shops. The location of the map is correct, but hard to see the cafe once you are there. Look out for the sign of the shop in my photos. Coffee can be improved from my point of view. They accept cards. There is a clean toilet within the shop. Enjoy.

Cozy, cute place with outdoor seating. Our drinks were not as good, unfortunately. We had a flat white and an orange juice to go and unfortunately only tasted them after already leaving the place. The orange juice was undrinkable - it was completely bitter. I don't know what happened there. The flat white was better, but still very bitter/too strong. Maybe we just got unlucky and caught a bad day...

Great specialty coffe, they focus on light roasts. So tasty, I had to buy a bag. Helpful and friendly service, they took time to talk coffee in excellent English. Worth a visit for coffee heads, and a nice menu and relaxed atmosphere for all wanting to enjoy a stop.

We popped in here for coffee in the morning before exploring the city and weren’t disappointed. I had a cappuccino and my fiancé had a flat white. They were both excellent. When I come back to Zagreb, I’ll be visiting here for coffee again!
