Well run hotel with good service and meals. Outstanding hot pools down alongside the river. Far from town so your ability to eat elsewhere is limited without a car. No stores nearby so be sure you bring everything you need with you. Nice breakfast provided. Worth splurging for the suite with the private hot pot.

Infrastructure is excellent, the place is a lot bigger from what you feel when seeing pictures, it even crosses the river, give it a try! Service was excellent, they satisfied every detail I required when going to a hotel of that category, they even went beyond with the warm personality of each people, specially the waiters. Finally, the hot springs are the main attraction, they are open 24 hours and they are amazing and extremely clean. I’ll just say I’ll come back every year just for the quality of the service!

I’m giving it 1 star just because I can’t give it 0. We booked a 2 night stay in what we thought it was a luxury resort, confirmed by the pictures and the price. The hotel and the surroundings look beautiful, however in our 2nd night there, after eating at the restaurant I got food poisoning. It’s unacceptable for a hotel like this to not have proper hygiene standards. I mentioned it the next morning during check out and they offered to remove the charge of the dish from the bill - later on, reading the other reviews I realized that this has happened before and it’s common practice. They’ve ruined part of my holiday and it felt so natural for them to come up with this solution. Now, the problem is that because of the horrible road condition between the nearby village and the property you will need to eat at least dinner at this place, since it’s not recommended to drive during the night. The rooms are big, however the bed is very hard and uncomfortable, there is no TV in the room and the Wifi doesn’t always work properly. The windows sort of close which means that mosquitos will enter the room. The thermal baths are nice, but you can’t sit outside because of the mosquitos. Nowadays there are solutions to this problem, so it’s disappointing to see that nothings it’s being done to improve the guests experience.

Such a lovely hotel. We saw it on YouTube and changed our itinerary to stay here…I’m so glad we did! A luxury spa retreat in the middle of nowhere. Pure bliss!

Its a nice hotel to relax. The rooms were clean, service was good. The posas could be cleaned more often. In November there are quite a few mosquitos, so be prepared with bugspray / repellant, or you'll get nasty bites. The prices are what you would expect from such a hotel, quite high.

We spent 5 nights in Colca Lodge. Room was clean, hot springs perfect, food and cocktails perfect, kindness of stuff was super good (from mainteneance team to waiters. Only recepionists, since are the first frontend for customers should be more friendly and available. From service prospective, laundry is too expensive considering that usage the internal one is the only option that guests have: there is nothingh around the Lodge so no chance to use something else. Food wise, cost are in the average of other restaurants and the quality was good. We were impressed of the grill experience on the bar and for the tips that the chef share for our next step in Arequipa.

The place is Eco friendly and, though a bit hard to get from Yanque (we had no transport), is a true jewel with its private hot springs and the amazing breakfast. Everything is blended with the nature. For the first time in Peru i had a sugar-free Detox. Staff is very friendly and rooms were amazing

Lovely location but away from a town so you are trapped to eat in. Food good but not cheap. Fun to have hot springs
