Beautiful property, excellent service and good restaurant. They have supplemental oxygen if you have altitude sickness coming in like me. I was amazed by how professional the restaurant staff was and how they’re able to churn out local dishes and things like beef short rib, fancy desserts to cheeseburgers with fried onion rings. So much to enjoy here like the hot springs and alpaca farm, as well as a lovely terrace for lunch. They also bring filtered water to your room. The rooms are clean, spacious and well heated, with super hot showers. Very peaceful stay. NOTE: GET CASH before you arrive! You need S/70 to enter Colca Canyon, and the closest ATM is back in Chivay.

This lodge is probably the best one in the area. Considering the price, I give it a 4/5 rating and not a 5/5. It‘s a beautiful lodge with a limited amount of rooms. The hot springs are available 24/24 hours. There is also a bar which is open until 6pm next to the hot springs. There is also an alpaca farm. Worth to see the animals if you cross the iconic bridge. Overall the scenery is really beautiful. The food in the restaurant was also really good - probably also the only option if you stay there. The breakfast was average. There is also a spa if you want a massage.

Colca Lodge is absolutely amazing! The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and pure nature, and the hot springs right by the lodge are unforgettable. The rooms are cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the whole atmosphere is calm and magical. A big bonus is having the Uyo Uyo ruins just a short walk away — a beautiful and fascinating site that makes the experience even more special. Truly one of the best places to stay in the Colca Valley!

The hotel is really at a beautiful place and well integrated into nature. Dinner was not good at all, breakfast ok - but good for this region. They could do more out of it looking at all this good vegetables and food you get here.

The Lodge is in a beautiful setting, very relaxing, chance to unwind after a long day. Room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful, especially the guys who take your luggage up and down the hill. Buffet breakfast, eggs cooked to order but a bit cramped and hectic when we were all trying to leave at the same time.

Great (re)treat in Colca Valley, highly recommended! Fantastic grounds/setting, excellent massages at the spa, thermal pools right by the river open 24/7 - great at night under the stars. Very good restaurant. Our standard triple room was excellent value and adequate, but next time I'd invest in an upgrade to make sure the room is up to the same high (luxurious) level of the rest of the hotel. Glad we stayed for three nights - you need time to appreciate all this hotel has to offer. For us, it was an ideal place to relax towards the end of our 3 weeks in Peru.

Beautiful property with hot springs, llamas and alpacas, and a spa. The rooms were warm, they heat them underground with water so regulating the temp for your room is only possible if you ask reception and my room never cooled down, I had to keep the window open all night. The king beds need to be replaced, but instead they put some thick foam over top. All in all it’s great but needs a few improvements. The hot springs are lovely as is the farm. The spa was just okay.

We loved our stay there! The rooms were simple yet beautifully decorated with very comfy beds. The grounds and setting were amazing. The hot springs pools were the “cherry on top”. Our only complaint is our dinner didn’t meet the expected standard and my “medium well” burger was rare and cold on the inside so I can’t give our visit all 5 stars. Still highly recommend!
