"Mustacchio Caffe is a coffee powerhouse and burger stop. This trendy, near-hipster restaurant stands opposite McDonald’s and is where you want to be seen from early morning breakfasts to late night drinks and dessert. Mustacchio is the kind of place you can go if you’re looking for a quiet coffee, a family lunch or a good time with a group of friends. If all that isn’t enough to tempt you to visit, they serve a refreshing range of Cape Town brewed craft beers. Don’t put it off for another day and don’t make us ask you again, have you been to Mustaccio Caffe yet? Hopefully you’ll be able to say “yes” really soon." - Yellow Door Collective

If you’re serious about pizza and wine, this place is a dream. The crusts are perfectly crisp, toppings creative yet rooted in tradition, and the wine pairings? Spot on. The staff know their vintages and won’t steer you wrong. A memorable dining experience!

We were a table of 10 plus a service dog. The food was out of this world! The staff as friendly and attentive as anyone would want in what I rate as a 5 star restaurant. They attended to every need, were quick to provide water for Hunter, exchanged tables for us from inside to outside without any difficulty (it was a hot day, one of our guests was pregnant and really appreciated the cool breeze outside). We aren’t a demanding bunch, but anything we asked for was brought out in haste. From the appetisers to the mains to desert and of course the drinks, everything was right on time and served with professionalism and in style. Several other guests came to visit Hunter, to take pictures with him (I didn’t, as I have so many and it was just another day, but I’ll share one so you know who I’m talking about), and the staff made him out like a VIP. We will DEFINITELY be back again!

10 out of 10 would recommend ! Was greeted by a friendly smile , ordered my drink and it arrived in what felt like seconds , food was out so quick I didn’t believe it was mine , pizza was so friggen good it just hit the spot . Fresh , tasty , generous amount of toppings , pizza did that perfect thing when I picked up a slice the cheese got all stringy and gooey , slice looked like it was in a long distance relationship with the base of the pizza never wanting to let go . You could taste the chef is passionate about his trade . My table , cutlery and glass were spotless and shining , salt and pepper shakers clean no residue , and the restaurant impeccably clean . I didn’t have to flag down a waiter , was waited on hand and foot which is so hard to find these days . What a brilliant experience ! My waiter Liberty and the hostess that worked today were phenomenal and deserve a raise ! Will definitely be back . Thank you Col’Cacchio’s !

When I looked up restaurants close to the hotel where I was staying, this one came up with great reviews. And a colleague highly recommended the place. It was actually so good that my friend and I came in two nights in a row. The first night I was there I ordered a pizza. I loved the very thin crust that came out of the brick oven. The second night I was there I tried pasta in a Gorgonzola sauce. Another winner. The cocktails we tried were also very tasty. I am not much of a drinker, but tried two different ones. And thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The service was spectacular and the prices were very affordable. Clear winner in my book and I look forward to coming back soon.

I picked this restaurant because it is situated next to my hotel. But I am really impressed with their food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We just flew in from California. This meal was phenomenal! We got the spiced garlic shrimp and the pizza bread- both delicious! I got the zuccotti and my stepdaughter had the butternut squash cappelletti both incredibly seasoned. We also shared a bottle of local Cabernet Sauvignon that was fantastic. My husband had a pizza with hot honey and a local beer that he said he’d have again tomorrow We ordered the cannoli and are rolling out of the door. Amazing meal!

Overall I enjoyed my solo dinner here. My waiter Gregory was attentive. The atmosphere was just good- lots of families having dinner and music playing in the background was not loud at all. Food: I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon pasta- it was a 5/5. The salted caramel pancake dessert was a let down because the slated caramel had such a bitter taste (I learnt this happens when it gets burnt) but the ice-cream made it edible : 2/5 (as I'm typing this I'm wondering why I didn't turn it back... )

Visited on three separate occasions as part of a Scottish HockeyTeam. All our visits were in groups, and we were always given a table. Others in the team also visited on different nights, restaurant very handy as staying nearby in Sky Hotel, (just a few minutes walk away) Always welcomed by friendly staff, who are all very hard working as place always busy. We njoyed a variety of dishes during our visits, caesar salad, avocado salad, various pizzas, lasagne, pasta dishes, calzone, and delicious desserts, tiramaso and chocolate brownie, all our food was very tasty and well presented, our wine was also very reasonably priced too, We all njoyed our visits and all staff were luvly, hardworking and chatty. Recommend a visit :) :) On a safety note, BE AWARE of the area opposite the restaurant (an open space) if walking through, Laydees hold your bags tightly to you, and your phones. Gents be aware of where your wallets /phones are. Just be alert
