Cold Comfort on Cook Street is pure happiness in ice cream form! Their flavours are bold, creamy, and made with real ingredients that taste homemade and fresh. The Burnt Sugar flavour is my absolute favourite, rich, buttery, and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of caramelized sweetness. It’s addictive! Their ice cream sandwiches are also incredible, and the vibe of the shop is fun, local, and welcoming. The staff are always cheerful, and you can tell everything is made with love. Whether it’s a sunny walk or a cozy night treat, Cold Comfort never disappoints, a true Victoria gem.

This place is taste bud majic..... My favourite draft...now in a creamy Macaron type icecream sandwich. I am now ready to go to heaven...... Incredible, happy to serve you, and worth every penny. Keep up the incredible work......in the words of another great man: it made my day..... There not open every day....so it makes you want it even more. Go...go now if they are open. Delicious ice cream at their new location! We tried the flight this time to have a chance to taste 4 different flavors. Highly recommended ice cream place. So Good!

I've been to this location twice so far and I will definitely be back! The staff were friendly both times asking if it was my first time there, explaining the options and/or offering a sample. I had Sugar Pie Pumpkin and vegan Mint Chip and they were both delicious🤤 I haven't tried their icecream sandwiches yet, but I hear they have the pumpkin one in a sandwich so I will most likely be taking a walk back down tomorrow😁

So so good and the staff are lovely. Was our first time getting cold comfort and they explained our options to us. I will definitely be going back, great pricing for small batch ice cream and cool flavours

I tried their new strawberry icecream sandwich and it was great. I also like the golden graham, but I wanted to try something new. The strawberry icecream was fresh and sweet in taste, but definitely not over powering sweetness. I recommend checking it out if you are in the mood for ice cream sandwiches. Their sandwiches also are not too hard, which would make ice cream get pushed out the back of the sandwich, which has been the case at other companies. Lastly, while I did not note the name of the employee, they were very helpful in selecting what to have, and patient for the couple minutes it took me to decide.
