Cold River

I had a great time stayed at Cold river. Their breakfast was super! Owners and staffs are super friendly! Room was clean and in a very calm area.Totally recommended for the stay and would stay again

Horrible experience at this hotel. The balcony door in my room is locked by a pair of sliding bolts. The bolts are so loose and worn they dropped by themselves, locking me on the balcony. I was locked out for ages in the heat and eventually had to climb over the balcony to get to reception, injuring myself in the process. The staff did not seem like they cared at all just shrugged and said yeah that happens in this particular room a lot. No one apologized and just nonchalantly said they'll have a look after I check out. Horrendous behavior.

Really really lovely stay here. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Good laundry service and AMAZING breakfast - one of the best we have ever had in SE Asia. Really recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, great room! Strong ac, hot water in the shower, some amenities in the room, small tv, comfortable beds Great breakfast and friendly staff!

We had the best stay at cold river!! Lovely owners, great location, clean and nice rooms. And the absolutely best part was the breakfast, which was included for us. It’s a very quiet and nice area with a super nice front yard. We were scammed at the first hotel we checked in at, and you can be confident it won’t happen here. Can absolutely recommend staying at this lovely hotel.

Family owned hotel nice small and cosy. Breakfast is very good. Value for money. Not far from city centre. Lot of restaurants Atms nearby.

The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony on the nearby river was really picturesque. Breakfast was really good and homemade. Staff was helpful and assisted us with booking transportation to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Location is a bit off-centered but all tourist spots are easily accessible on foot or with a short tuk-tuk ride.

Great accommodation, it's down a little side street and our room had views of the river which was beautiful. The French owners put on a fantastic breakfast and make a point of talking to the guests each morning, which is a lovely touch. They were very informative and knowledgeable about the city. The staff also helped us arrange transport etc. It's a great location, only a ten minute walk into the main town where the markets are. Great value for money! The only downside is that the Wifi was not great in our room, so I sometimes had to go to the reception area to get a decent signal.
