The food was on point ! The drink was amazing! The cider was a bit tart for my liking ! The beer was good! The waitress was so kind ! A little louder than expected! But first time there great experience! Celebrating our 17th year anniversary in 24 years together it was just what we needed. Thank you to all of the staff food came out very quickly. It was a very good experience. !

We have dined here twice and both times the food has bene fantastic. I have ordered the grownup grilled cheese (pictured) and the French dip and my husband has gotten the salmon sandwich and a burger, and they ALL have been fantastic! Their fries are also so good. We went when they were slow and last night when they were busy and the food came out fast both times. Highly recommend.

Stopped in to get lunch while visiting the shops on Sherman Ave. The Ceaser Salad was delicious. It was just enough to fill me up without making me sluggish. The service was very good and the atmosphere was quiet and catered to a mature audience.

I had the Salmon BLT with Caesar salad. My wife had the “Grown Up Grilled Cheese”. We were greeted and seated immediately. Salmon was cooked to a perfect medium with Brie cheese on brioche bun. The dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries was tasty and savory. Grilled cheese was fun and creative. Our server was attentive and helpful and described the two soups for the day. Music wasn’t too loud but soft on the ears to provide just enough background sound. Great views from the dining room with large windows facing Sherman Ave.

Absolutely delicious!! The grown up grilled cheese with tomato soup and French dip with sweet potato fries so worth it! Chicken Caesar salad had a ton of chicken. Will definitely be back next trip!

This was just what we were looking for. Delicious food, outdoor seating, and good service. I got the grown up grilled cheese and sweet potato fries, and they were AMAZING. My husband loved his salmon sandwich as well. It’s so fun to just eat good food outside while people watching in downtown Coeur d Alene.

Thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the Collective Kitchen. Everything was very good and flavorful. We have a bit of a sweet tooth, so the blueberry cobbler had to happen. We finished the whole thing in one sitting. It was so fresh and delicious! 😊😊 Definitely will need to come back again.

Took a walk up and down the street and picked this place for the fish tacos - which were delicious! Basic tilapia but served very well with fresh avocado, poco and cojita cheese. Came with generous fries and good cole slaw. Well priced. Friendly staff. A bit bright inside for my taste but had a TV to watch the final four. Walk the extra blocks up and go to this place.

Yum! Needed a light bite and ordered the coconut shrimp and spinach salad with a glass of Pinot Noir. Great flavors and good combination. Amazing service! Rose was amazing. Will definitely be back.

The service at Collective Kitchen is so good and this French dip is the best I've ever had! I definitely recommend this place.

DON'T MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! From apps, burgers and entrée, they do it right! Highly recommend the bacon wrapped fig appetizer and the salmon entrée. Burgers and fries are beyond basic.

Found this place looking on Yelp for fish tacos. Son had mahi tacos. Hubby had a salmon blt. Looks too good, a huge piece of fish. I had a swine burger, which was really good. They add fresh spinach instead of lettuce, a nice touch. There is outside dining.

Our family decided to stop here for lunch and it was excellent. We got two different types of tacos, the grown up grilled cheese, and the California wrap (with fries and tomato bisque for sides). Everything was delicious! There are a lot of places to eat here in town, but I'm glad we stopped at this one!

Service was so bad snd unfortunately you cannot have food that was bad go with that. Ordered the Chicken Bucatini and hardly touched it. When I told the young server it was "really bad" and that I couldn't eat it, she said, "really bad? Oh". Didn't offer to take it off bill nor did I ask. Bummer experience was so bad. She kept saying how "slammed" they were when service was poor, but it was 60% empty on a Friday night.

As someone who's had 40 years' worth of foods in over 90 countries, I don't often have, or take time for, writing reviews. An exception here. The Collective Kitchen has some of the best food I've had anywhere, in all those years. I was first offered a substitute to the menu stout that had run out. It was the best tasting stout I've had anywhere, and I've had my share. Next, had the best French Dip I've had anywhere...and I'm a frequent fan of French Dip; perfectly baked, crusty bread, tasty juice and amazing meats. My wife meanwhile enjoyed what she called the best bucatini dish she's had (the chicken bucatini). We finished off with yet another first for us - the most amazing blueberry cobbler we've had. It's very rare for us to rave about even any one dish, but to have 3 home runs in one meal was unprecedented. Keep up the good work team! The Collective Kitchen has it.

Popped in for dinner Wednesday evening after a long day of bike riding and was warmly greeted by the staff! The atmosphere is casual but the food was upscale combinations and delicious! The service from Taylor was spot on! To start we enjoyed a spinach salad with candied pecans, apple slices, mozzarella cubes & pomegranate vinegarette (unusual combo that was light & flavorful). Next we had a Salmon BLT on a brioche bun (extremely fresh & flavorful) and a Grown Up Grilled Cheese (Brie, goat cheese, mozzarella, avocado, apple slices & spinach). Omgoodness! The food was DELICIOUS! The drinks were cold & reasonably priced! Definitely coming back here! Added bonus...live music by Johnny Rocket! Forgot to takes pics of the food but it was well presented.

Fabulous service, exceptional food and a great little spot downtown! We went on a weekend and were surprised at how few people were there. I will say, the vibe of the restaurant on the inside doesn't really line up with everything else.. it feels a little like higher end dining in a diner. We will definitely sit on the patio next time!

Wow. Wow. Wow! This is the first time I've had a good taco since arriving in the PNW (I'm from the southwest). All three of us enjoyed our meals. The music was excellent. The server was super kind. It's the slow season, so it was nice and chill. I asked if I could come back and work on my novel here, and they said okay! Writers: it's a good spot during slow season, but bring a fully charged laptop and a power bank.

One of my favorite go-to's. Great location, nicely updated interior, excellent service, and exciting and fantastic food. This is one of the rare restaurants where ill get an appetizer because they are so darn good!! Love the fish tacos, ribs, and country fried steak Today notch

Collective kitchen, Holly, you have the best personality and you are one of the best waitresses that we have had on this journey. I love your energy, I love your attitude, I love your smile. Now for the food, we ordered the crab chowder, absolutely no taste, smell, nor flavor even with salt and pepper it didn't help. We exchange that for their bean soup which was amazing and their tomato bisque, that was good also. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Do not let the atmosphere fool you...we thought maybe we had walked into the wrong restaurant when we first arrived. The server (sorry I forgot your name) was amazing. Very attentive and quick (even while training someone new)!!! We sat down immediately, ordered an appetizer (whipped feta) which was sooo good!! Roasted garlic and tomatoes made this dish to die for. Literally one of my new faves. We then ordered our main entrees. Two smash burgers with sweet potato fries (literally just the right crisp) and the yellow curry with salmon...WOW! Once again, delish! I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to on this one. Unfortunately, we are from out of town, but I would come back if ever visiting again!

Okay place to stop and get breakfast. I asked for eggs over medium and they came out with the middle completely cooked and hard as a rock. Donate bacon so I can't speak on that but it's no delicious. Breakfast was mediocre at best coffee was okay service was decent she did come by once to check out my meal was however she never came back to refill my coffee. That's a big No-No for me as I am a coffee connoisseur.

After walking past this place I don't know how many times, (normally muttering to myself that I have to give it a try) I went in with my family and tried it out. It's right on the corner of 5th and Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene. It's not the largest restaurant but there's plenty of tables. Lots of TVs, but not much noise. They have a decent-sized menu. We tried the "Pint of Curds" appetizer, and I got a burger and a cup of the crab chowder as my side. I also had an IPA from a regional brewery. The burger was good, with plenty of bacon and cheese on it. The crab chowder could have used more crab, but it was savory and would probably be a great meal on a cold winter day. My mom got the beef tacos. She let me have one to try, and it had good flavor and plenty of beef. And the Pint of Curds? I think it's my mom's new favorite snack. Our server was also the bartender but she kept the table occupied with food and drink. As a side bonus, she knew the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything. If you know, you know. If you don't know, you need to read more Douglas Adams. Just saying.

First time trying this place out & had a great experience! Torn between the sea bass and the seafood hot pot so I ordered both. Definitely plan on coming back.

Stopped by for a quick cocktail during our afternoon walk in town. I got the ahi tuna app & the hubs got the burger. Both of our dishes were perfectly cooked! We will definitely be back. Our waiter, Jake was also attentive & friendly.

We were walking by and decided on this place. The menu had just changed is what we were told. Well it was great and I really enjoyed the burger and fries. The wife had the ahi tacos and we really enjoyed the meal. Great service!! I highly recommend this place.

First time in Idaho & would 100% recommend Collective Kitchen! The food was great, service was amazing, and the vibes were immaculate - such a cool spot!

One option for vegetarians/vegan. One. And when I asked if there was something off the menu that would work, the server wondered if fish would be okay. In 2024. I have been a vegetarian since 1972, and vegetarian STILL means no fish‍

Delicious food!!! I went for happy hour once and got the lamb pops and I have been thinking about them ever since! It's a great spot to get a number of small plates with friends. Fun cocktails a decent tap list and a few outdoor tables for a nice day. They have a happy hour that starts at 2. Both waitresses I have had have been friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The steak tacos were fabulous. The meat was so tender and flavorful and the pico brought the perfect balance of acidity. I can't recommend these enough!

A winner in downtown! Fantastic food with a great craft beer selection. Five of us ate here recently and we were all very impressed. Everything that came from the kitchen was wonderful. The beer list was just as it should be, printed out with all the information. Brewery name, beer style, ABV, and tasting notes. I didn't need to keep bugging the server who may or may not know much about the beer. Thank you!! The staff was super friendly and the prices were fair. We will be back!

Popped in for lunch with some friends and the food was delicious. It's pretty small inside so there was quite a wait for our party of five on a Sunday afternoon. But great location, fun to people watch as it's right in downtown. Relaxed and casual vibe... could use some updating/cleaning inside, but the kitchen made up for it. Unfortunately the service wasn't the best. Our server wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly lol. It did seem like they were short staffed so likely the issue. Our group ordered the below, in order of our favorites: 1. Lamb burger (Excellent!! Very juicy tho, so be prepared for a mess!) 2. French dip (delicious!!) 3. Salmon BLT (salmon was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy outside but still moist. Bread was so good!) 4. pulled pork (also delicious, they do not skip on the pork!) 5. Reuben (good but bread was a little dry) The portions are huge, we all left uncomfortably full haha I got a Caesar salad as my side but dressing didn't have much flavor (had to cover it in pepper and still wasn't great) so I would recommend the tater tots. Usually I prefer sweet potato fries but our group got all options to try and tater tots were the star. We also ordered cheese curds to start, I would pass on those - good but definitely overpriced at $16. The avocado ranch with it is so good tho, and you have to get the fry sauce!! Yum!! We got a couple of beers and cocktails, I got one with tequila and aperol and it was great, loved the thyme garnish for the added flavor. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

My husband does not take the title of burger connoisseur lightly. After getting the breakfast burger here, he said it was by far the best burger he has had in this area, by far! Burgers/sandwiches/wraps come with default shoe string fries which isn't his jam, but are definitely mine (I opted for sweet potato shoe string, so so crispy!). I got the pulled pork sandwich on ciabetta and I'm getting hungry right now just thinking about it. On point messy bbq pulled pork goodness (mixed in onions and bell peppers was a nice touch), topped with slaw and a perfectly fluffy yet crisp ciabatta. I've heard the desserts here are great, just couldn't find the space. Next time! Street parking and awesome staff. New favorite date night spot!

Stopped in Collective Kitchen for appetizers and beer after a morning out hiking. We asked to try two different IPA's and we were served a large 12oz pour instead. Neither of us would've gotten the beer we were poured had we been able to able try it first... but that's okay. We ordered the Asian ribs, the flatbread and the artichoke dip. The food was amazing. The Asian ribs were outstanding, the artichoke dip was so flavorful and came out bubbling hot, and the flatbread was super tasty too! The ambiance was that of a bar and the service was good overall.

- Cozy atmosphere with nice location - The meat patty on Smash burger was thick and wasn't smashed. So little dry and not melt in your mouth like I wanted. - The loaded steak melt was decent but baguette on the thicker side. - Nice server but forgot to take out the cheese on my wife's burger as requested so she waited a little while.

Great food. Service was slow but it was worth the wait. Our table enjoyed the steak tacos, the grown up grilled cheese, the curry with salmon and more. Everything was delicious! Wish they had more seating outside.

Horrifying...so disappointed. French dip is a far cry from what it use to be...and 18.00???? Menu Says 14..no beef, tons of greasy cheese... 40 dollars for 2 sandwiches...never, ever going back...do not waste your money...price went up, quality down the drain...maybe tourits will buy it...but locals, DO MOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Very clean, very cheerful place with 24 different tap beers and a number of wines to choose from. Food looked good but I didn't have anything to eat. Happy hour from 2-5 including reduced price appetizer. Seating included bar, high tops and table. Not a big place but in off season plenty of room.

We had the smash burger, the French dip and their cheese curds and all three were fantastic! Super fast and personable service. Great atmosphere and right downtown on Sherman. We'll be back for sure.

Thought the food was excellent and service was great too. The restaurant has great views but feels a bit tight, tables squeezed into a small space. Went there for the food and had Fish Tacos. Nice piece of fish with excellent flavor. Like the casual Dining. Some seating outside but tight and cozy. Would eat there again without question.

They catered our event for the Coeur d'Alene Garden Club.for 80 people. They did an excellent job. The food was hot, served on time and gave us a selection of several entrees, salads, sides and desserts. Chef Jason stayed and served us the entire dinner. Collective Kitchen did an excellent job and we will use them again next year.

Beef street tacos were excellent. Bold and full of flavor. Fish tacos could use a little more pizazz but still very good. Nice atmosphere.

Lovely corner spot on quaint downtown main street. Servers were nice but it took a bit to get our food. Food was great! Seared Ahi tuna made to perfection. Lots of flavoring on the crusted/seeded outer layer. Chicken salad had a refreshing coleslaw dressing. Serving was large.

The adult cheese sandwich is soooo good It's fun to watch the street action too The beers are good I haven't been this season tho Hope to try it tonight

I love this place. The only thing I miss about California at this point is the food in the Bay Area was second to none in the world. Not so much in North Idaho Collective kitchen is just as good as any place in the Bay! If you're if you're glad you left Cali but you're missing the food, this place is for you. If you're not glad you left Cali, please go home lol!

The absolute worst smash burger I have ever had in my life. Overcooked and dry. No seasoning. Served on a dry bun, absolutely dry. Never in my life would I return.

We found this place by chance My hubby was helping a lady in a wheelchair and we asked her for a recommendation. I had the potato flatbread, has pesto, hollandaise, bacon, basil and 2 eggs Sunny side up. It was excellent. He had a ham and cheese omelette. He said his was good. His came with some raspberry jam that was amazing. Our waitress was super sweet and did a great job. We would definitely return.

Cool spot. Small, but cozy. We only had drinks here - which they didn't have a huge selection of, but the ones I got (from a can) were okay. The service was great. I would like to return to try the food at some point, because what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious!

One of my favorite restaurants in town. Love for breakfast! And they serve fall favorites. Went in during summer and it was a full house and a little warm, but the food is amazing. Amazing appetizers, excellent service, the salmon is excellent .

The tacos (I ordered the steak, my boyfriend ordered the fish) were good, but not great. The ahi appetizer was solid. My boyfriend ordered a really well-made gin cocktail, and our server was friendly and attentive. The space inside is a little cramped, but comfortable. It was an enjoyable dinner, but I'm not sure we'd come back.

First of all, let's just say that the service is insanely good - Jessi (not sure if I spelled this correct) was an absolute doll and made the morning enjoyable. Let's talk food - husband ordered what could be the very best chicken fried steak EVER. Huevos Rancheros also BOMB. If you can eat here DO IT!!!!

Ultimately this is a 3.5 star review, but I'm leaning to three because the let down at the end was pretty big. Collective looks fabulous and we were excited to come in. Bummer to miss the cocktails but the menu Variety more than makes up for it. We ordered several of the starters to split among the table and none of them disappointed. The only thing that was a mild disappointment was the spiced blueberries and blistered cheese on multiple dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed it but my partner was longing for a little more variety among the plates. The lamb pops, bacon covered dates and artichokes were lovely and well made and we looked forward to the main that we were splitting. So it's easy to understand when our tacos came and we found them very bland and discovered obviously bottled dressing on the salad that we would be left with a sad taste in our mouths. The tacos were rescued with a side of lime squeezed upon them and it made an otherwise inedible dish worth consuming. Our meal here felt a little like well executed foreplay only to have your partner fall asleep on top of you halfway through the finale. Hence the three stars. Our server was professional and attentive despite the rush she endured. I imagine that a lack of warmth was more about being understaffed ( as is a problem everywhere and thus will not be reflected in the review) and nothing to do with her personality. Hard to come back for a full meal after this, but I totally recommend coming for nibbles before a date. Stick around for the fore play and have your bestie call you before someone expects you to put out for the full meal deal.

My Mom and I decided to stop here after a little spa session at Heat Praxia across the street. It was both of our first times in and it was amazing!! I loved my food, my Mom loved hers too. Our server was very nice. We liked where we were sat. Fun little spot to get some brunch and just talk and socialize. 10/10.

Bayou Prawns was the hands down favorite. Loaded with shrimp and spicy sausage. Served with bread which is great for dipping and getting every last drop of the broth. Second favorite were the Lamb Lollipops. Cooked to perfection and served with cheese and something similar to homemade cranberry sauce. Delicious! Our least favorite were the Duck Lettuce Wraps. They were good but when compared to the Prawns and Lamb they just fell a little short. There was a little bit of a wait to be seated. No servers to be found for several minutes. When they walked into the dining area, they didn't bother to check the door to see if people were waiting. Once seated, the service was very good. Would I eat here again? Definitely! Highly recommended!

Amazing service, amazing food, relaxed vibe. GET THE FRY SAUCE! The servers and bartenders were fabulous--we will be back for more!

5 stars cause I've never been disappointed! Always good! Been here several times when I'm in town visiting my family. Bacon wrapped figs are delicious. Highly recommend. I've had the adult grilled cheese several times, it's very good. Finally tried something different today. Waffle BLTA....was bomb. Sweet potato fries are great as well as the spinach salad. My husband has also had the adult grilled cheese...today he had Jalapeño (add bacon) burger with regular fries. Said it was great. Beer selection is phenomenal. We both can always find stuff we like. We will be back & will try more if the menu!
