Collector's Lady Hamilton Hotel

Wonderful experience for me altogether. This quaint hotel has a lot of character and has many lovely - and traditional - antiques to marvel at. It is extremely well located in the oldest part of the city and within walking distance of all major sites and ferry departure spots. Breakfast is varied and fresh, with vegan and gluten-free options. Plenty of food options around. If rooms are not available there, check out the other 2 hotels, both in the same area, The Lord Nelson or The Victory, also owned and run by the same family.

This hotel was excellent and I particularly liked to focus on the environment - everything from organic/vegan options to sustainability in frequency of room cleaning/towels etc. The service was really personal and there was an extremely warm atmosphere. Breakfast buffet offer a great choice of high quality options every day. Everything was clean and the staff were available at all times for anything extras needed or queries. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel. Not too big, which we liked. Clean and welcoming. The small double rooms are tiny, more like a single. Hard to fit two suitcases in there. Wouldn’t recommend for two people. My second time staying here. We had an unlucky incident with the staff at breakfast. Young girls lacking experience were extremely rude to us, threatening to have us removed. We were quite upset about it, and complained to the manager. We were met with understanding and received an apology and a free upgrade to a large double rooms. This was fantastic service! Absolutely beautiful room, would definitely book this room type next time. Hopefully the staff at breakfast receive better training in how to speak to customers, but the front desk personnel handelen this very well.

This final night in Sweden was the absolute highlight of our trip in terms of accommodations! My sister and I love to travel together and we love boutique hotels so trying the Lady Hamilton was a must. Our room was on the topmost floor, so spacious with a wonderful bathtub instead of just a shower and a fabulous view out the many windows. We could see the palace from our room! I wouldn't trade the experience for anything and when we return, we are going to make sure we have the same room and stay for a longer period of time. It was so conveniently located and just an overall charming experience.

The 3 bedroom rom we got was spacious, and had 3 real beds, which isn’t always the case. One of the beds was even in a small separate room. Modern bathroom. Good breakfast. Very centrally located.

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff is so kind, breakfast was great and they even had gluten free food available!! Room was spacious, quiet, and clean. Also the location was awesome!! Can't say enough great things about this hotel and our stay!

We stayed five nights at the Lady Hamilton Hotel between Christmas and NYE 2024. We selected the hotel for its location and it really can't be beat - right in Gamla Stan but around the corner from the main pedestrian fare. It is immensely walkable to all the sites. And because Gamla Stan is car free most of the time, we found the location to be quiet and restful. The rooms have a real charm - antiques and folk art make the spaces warm if quirky. The rooms we had (large doubles) were enormous, with modern bathrooms and lots of seating. Ample storage for clothes and luggage. Breakfast is lovely with lots of choices served in a slightly 'less' decorated room (not a problem at all). It can get busy around 8:30 but was a peaceful start to the day at 7am. We didn't use the sauna but it is available. The staff are warm, friendly, helpful and available 24 hours a day. We had such a lovely stay and highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in the old town which is cobbled streets (ladies don't wear heels!)full of wonderful restaurants shops and cafes. |It is not near the train station so you need a cab otherwise a longish walk!|It's a very beautiful Area.|Extremely near the Palace so great from that point of view.|Christmas time was very busy with tourists a slightly less busy time would have enhanced the experience. |During restricted hours No cars are allowed into the area so you have to walk to the main road for transport.just a few minutes. |Wheeling suitcases along cobbles is challenging and take a sturdy suitcase otherwise you may find wheels get damaged!|On arrival make sure you ask for ear plugs we regretted not asking this as we had 3 sleepless nights due to very very regular chiming of church bells which is right next door. |The bells chimes 10 times in an hour plus the hour it was!!! It's a lot!! |I would have thought ear plugs should be in the bathroom as a matter of necessity! |The staff are very nice especially the mature lady who serves in the restaurant so smiley and helpful.|The breakfast is delicious couldn't wish for better!|Shame hotel does not have a bar but apparently spa is very nice!|With hindsight of cobbles and bells I would stay again. |This hotel is very unique full of character and gave us a memorable stay.|Stockholm is a favourite city that everyone should visit!
