So I just went to this comic book store today and it was absolutely amazing.The staff was so nice and so helpful.I usually go to another comic book store.Just because it's very close to my home.But I think i'm going to start coming here.It's just so much better

As a comic shop, it is pretty small but does have decent comics for the small space given, sadly not alot of indie stuff and they always say to order online for a Majority of indie stuff.Staff is most of the time rude ive only ever had one nice staff member and thats it ,got called a asshole for spending money on black friday trying to get a bang for my buck on deals, and then another time that the worker looked like he didnt want to be there and gave the most unintrested customer service face ever,won't come here again tho ever since that interaction been going to house of secrets in burbank every Wednesday now. Edit: I have returned since then ,that staff member still works there but I've met a very nice staff member that loves their job and gave great recommendations, a older fella but cool

The In-store Staff in Collector’s Paradise are top-quality customer service, Friendly, and Accommodating (on a first visit I am treated like a VIP customer)! I got to give credit to the main superhero guy, Edward Greenberg, and his superhero crew! They are very attentive and very helpful to assist you with what you are looking for. What's great about this shop is you can also take a peek at their store and their social media channels for advance offers and comic book subscriptions. The extra added bonus to visitors is when you get to see and attend their in-store signing events from amazing creators and artists of comic books and pop culture! I used to come here when it was Blast Off comics. I loved the place it was like home. I recently stopped in Collectors paradise only to not be greeting or spoked to by any staff… i waited 20 minutes. I’ll never go back.

Very friendly. Came here for the first time. Never been to a comic store before. The clerk was very nice. I don't remember his name but he had blondish orange hair and glasses. Came with my friend. We're both autistic. My friend had a really hard time deciding on which comic he wanted to buy. The clerk was very friendly, gave us suggestions, and let us read the comics before buying it. I mask a lot so you can't really tell I'm autistic but my friend's is more visible. I really appreciate how friendly the staff and customers were. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. I'm from the thousand oaks area. Also I wish they carried more webtoon physical copy comics. Love that they carry the "Feral" magazines though. Will definitely try to come again but may not be able to come often since its very far for me. Very pleased with this experience 👍

A great comic shop. The owner and staff are super friendly and always remember the regulars who come in. They put on great events. Whether you're new to comic books or a long-time fan, this is the place to go to. My family recently went to a signing for Ms. Marvel herself, Iman Vellani. The line was long as so many people were excited to meet her. Most people were super patient, save for a handful of negative Nellies who thought if they waited long enough in line that they could get in without a ticket. I guess they didn't fully read the clearly noted details on the flier.

My go to place for single issues and graphic novels. Great environment and easy to get to. Love their selection of Indie comics and books as well as your favorite comics from Marvel, DC, Etc I highly recommend

Of all of the comic book shops I been a regular at, this is by far my favorite as far as selection, customer service, and personal service. They have the merchandise and inventory of a full realized storefront, but the familiarity of a Mom & Pop store. I would bymut from them even when I relocate.

While their Winnetika location is my local shop, I always try to stop by the NoHo Collector's Paradise whenever I'm in the area. The staff is beyond friendly and, even though this location is small, it has a fantastic array of comics and other collectables. Even with my pull list at their other location, I always find something I have to pick up on my quick visit. They also have fantastic signings here throughout the year so there's a good chance that you can meet either one of your favorite writers or be introduced to your next obsession. My only complaint isn't even their fault & it's the parking. Like most of this area of NoHo, it's all limited street parking with meters or you're going to have to cross your fingers that you can find something in the residential streets in the area. But honestly, it's worth it. If you live in the area and are looking for your new favorite neighborhood shop, this is it.

This is one of the most elitist comic book shops in the city. The staff are dismissive at best, and that is if they acknowledge you at all. The stock is about what you would find in any other comic shop, with the added benefit of being more expensive. I came in today, a Monday, to shop back issues, but the back issue bins were blocked, and covered in the new comics due out on Wednsday, with big signs thwt say "do not touch". I would guess this is why every other comic book shop on the planet has limited or no hours on TUESDAY to prepare Wednesday books. Either way, 25% of the store, you know the stuff collectors want, is unavailable to even shop. There are better and more hospitable shops in Burbank.

This is a very cute place. I had a wonderful time shopping for gifts for my nephew and family. The young man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful and went out of his way to help me find a great gift. I highly recommend this spot.

Recently moved to LA, and had been looking for a good comic store for quite a while. Not the biggest, but you're able to get pull lists and special orders through their website. Most importantly the staff is super friendly and cool. I came in one time and two of them even remembered my name, compare that to times I've gone in other comic stores in the area and they don't even speak.

Location and a mean collection of new and old stuff! I'll be there looking for the next great ones.

Small little comic shop we came across while trying to kill time while waiting for our dog to finish grooming. It felt like this was the only shop open on this side of the street. A lot of businesses out here are closed and have been for a while or just don't open till later in the evening since they're bars. If you're looking for a good comic shop, this might be the one for you to check out. Lots of comics, very few manga and other things. Fresh smell of books when you enter which is lovely! Amazing prices and super friendly!!! I came in for a short box and in the end it was 8 dollars (really good price!) and the employee offered to build it too. They have 50 percent off discounts on some stuff and 1 dollar bins. Will come here again :))

My neighborhood comic book store that I pass by all the time but never checked out till recently when I was looking for a gift for a friend, an avid comic book reader. The store isn't big, but it is well stocked and well organized. They have events here sometimes, signings, etc which is cool. The merchandise is nicely displayed and they have a pretty good selection. Glad Collector's Paradise is here, NoHo could use more one of a kind stores like this one, on the artsy side!

Those who worked there were super helpful and very nice to talk to! Quite frankly I enjoyed their selections and I was able to pick up some comic book boxes that I so desperately needed and had a good variety of graphics. Definitely go check it out!

Great little comic shop with a friendly staff. They always have my pull list ready when I come in and have everything I'm looking for.

Every time I'm here they always greet me with a friendly vibe, ask if I need help and generally have what I'm looking for. Not the biggest shop but I support great customer service as a priority. I've been to 3 dozen comic shops in the past few months and CP is one of the best service out of them all. Thank you!

I love this store for several reasons 1. The "guard dog" the worlds cutest little Corgi who will look you over quickly and go back and lay down . 2. That have hard cover Golden Books ! I love Golden Books! They don't make them hardcover anymore 3. The owner is the nicest guy , he's very knowledgeable about the things he offers and has get checkin deals . 4 . There's a little something for everyone, comics, books for kids , funkos, all kinds of cool stuff at great prices .

All the staff here are very personable, friendly, and helpful. They're a small store, but they have a nice selection of comics. If you have a pull list, you get 10% off and free bags and boards.

This place is paradise. I spent over an hour browsing. If you love comic books, Collector's Paradise is the top of the line best comic store in the area. Lots of genres to choose from. Staff are so friendly. Very chill. They take their time telling the customers anything and everything they want or need to know I'm the type that asks a ton of questions. Collector's Paradise offers so much more merchandise then just the actual comic books. You can get anything and everything related to the characters. I always try not to look to hard. Love this store so much! I'm so glad it filled the void of Blastoff in North Hollywood. Every time I go in I'm greeted by Kevin who remembers me by name and always has great recommendations. I Come for the comics, but always appreciate being able to geek out on what we've been reading while he's ringing me up at the register. They have a great selection of trades and figures as well. And if there's an issue you want & it's not there, they'll order it for you no problem! I highly recommend this store. Thanks for everything you guys, keep up the great work!

Collector's Paradise does it again. The best comic book stores in the Los Angeles area have just gotten better with a brand new store in the Arts district in North Hollywood. This truly isn't your fathers comic book store. They specialize in new books with an amazing subscription service that saves you money and time. And while you are there be sure to browse the racks of hundreds of the greatest trade paperbacks of all time. You can not go wrong shopping here for you comic book needs.

I've just recently discovered my love for graphic novels thanks to Collectors Paradise and I'm so excited they opened another store in noho. The location is perfect for me as it gives me something to do on a Sunday afternoon. Noho is full of fun creative and flavorful shops and restaurants so this is a great fit. It's perfect I'll head to noho go to Collectors Paradise grab a graphic novel and get some lunch somewhere local. Perfect Sunday afternoon! Ok enough about how I like to spend my Sundays and back to Collectors Paradise which is the reason you're here after all. Well let me just start by say WOW this place is amazing! I mean they really did a fantastic job. I could spend hours in there looking at all the cool stuff they have, it's great. I was very impressed, I mean seriously you have to check the place out. As I stated before in beginning of my review I'm a big fan of graphic novels. Each one is different, exciting and reading them is like going on a thrill ride for me. Well Collectors Paradise is my Disneyland (minus the long lines and annoying tourists) there's so much to choose from the selection is great. Now all they need is a Dole-whip and some characters running around. Wait they have a ton or characters in the novels and comics. Wow this place really is my Disneyland. BYODW - Bring your own dole-whip. Ok I'm getting of track again sorry. I tend to that when I'm excited and this place excites me. So let me wrap this up. Stop reading reviews and go check the place out yourself. Get yourself a comic, a graphic novel or five (yes I have a problem) and go see all the cool stuff they have at this store. It's fun, it's different it's just really cool and the people who work there are so friendly and nice. I'm thinking they might need a restraining order to keep me away

It's one of those blink and you'll miss it store but it's super cute, great selection and friendly staff members. Best thing about this place (other than the amazing selections) is that it's lgbt friendly

This is one of my favorite shops in the Valley. The staff are a lot of fun and have never pressured me to buy. They genuinely seem to love comics. Pre-COVID they'd host some awesome signings -- always free, too. Now they have it where you can purchase books in advanced, and, if the artist or writer are local, they'll have them signed at no additional cost. Could not recommend it more.

Excellent shop! They were so welcoming on my first visit and provided suggestions and recommendations. Plus the shop pup is a total cutie. I'm so grateful that they are open during quarantine and that I am able to buy new comics during this time. Pro tip- join their rewards system to get discounts on later purchases.

New favorite comic shop in the valley. They have a great subscription system where you can put comics on reserve and keep up to date on new releases. I'll definitely be coming back often!

I'm an avid reader and some of the YA authors that I read crossed over to graphic novels. While looking for one specific novel, Nick who is a deep well of knowledge not only helped me with the one book but recommended so many more. We started coming here since last May for their comic book day and have been faithfully returning ever since. The have a great selection of not just comics but also of collectors items such as the funky pops and figurines. Great atmosphere, I always feel welcome and Look forward to seeing Nick and his coworkers. If you are not sure where to start they can recommend really good stuff.

I've been a shop regular for a few years, Kevin, Anna and Daniel are all super knowledgeable and always great at suggesting new reads when I'm looking to change up my weekly pulls. Anna was hugely helpful when I needed gifts for my nieces and nephews for Christmas. Grateful that this place is my home comic shop! It's always my first recommendation for people new to the area.

This store is one of my absolute favorite local spots! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgable. Going each weekend is genuinely a highlight of my week. I have found several new series and authors based on staff recommendations, and they always email to let me know when there's a new volume out. They are very helpful in tracking things down or suggesting other series based on what I like. They have a really solid kids/youth section, too!

I never write Yelp reviews but I wanted to for Collector's Paradise. I have only been into graphic novels for about a year but I got obsessed with the medium quickly and am publishing my own comic so I wanted to study the medium hard. I had always bought TP off Amazon but eventually I needed to buy single issues. I randomly walked by Collector's Paradise red sign out front and strolled on in. The employee who works there in the day is great. I forgot his name but I will update this when I get it. He set me up with a pull list of the few comics I read. The next time I walked in, he recognized my face and had all my comics waiting for me by the time I reached the counter. I thought he was like Rain Man or something. Not only that but he recognized what others I like, what types of comics I like and gave exceptional recommendations. They also have a great program where if you buy a TP, then 20% of what you paid comes back as credit towards your next TP purchase. I typically buy everything from Amazon, even my groceries, that's the kind of person I am, but I go to this place to buy comics instead of Amazon. It's really nice to have a human being be able to recognize what I like and recommend other books than an algorithm sometimes. Thanks, Collector's Paradise!

Absolutely fantastic experience here - I've found my new shop. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced shopping, with a great selection and environment inside. They also have an amazing loyalty and subscription program, that's easy to use and rewards you for shopping with one of the most generous loyalty programs I've seen. I am so proud and thrilled of how this store has turned out. For those of you that don't know, this is the store that replaced Blastoff. Blastoff was respectfully good however, you can DEFINITELY tell a difference in shift for the better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most notably is the owner Edward, his enthusiasm and passion for comics is undeniable and transferable. I have seen him make recommendations of new X-Men Comics to a guy who only buys Batman and he bought willingly. Grand opening was a huge success by having the likes Mark Waid and Sam Humpries. Thankfully I was able to get my Kingdom Come copy signed by Mark Waid. Happy to call this place my home store when it comes to buying comics. Check it out and see what all the buzz is for yourself!

We went to Collector's Paradise yesterday to pick up some comics for my son. We were so sad when we found out that Blast Off was closing! We loved Blast Off and the amazing people that worked there. So, we weren't sure what to expect when we heard another shop was taking over, but we were very happy that at least there would still be a comic book shop in NoHo. Well, after visiting Collector's Paradise, we are so happy that they have moved in and are up and running in the same space. The shop looks great! The employee who helped us out was very pleasant and helpful. The selection seemed pretty good, and the employee told us there is more DC stock coming in so it should get even better. And, dare I say, I found the decorum and the way the comics and other items were displayed even a bit more appealing than the way Blast Off previously had it set up. We will miss Blast Off, but Collector's Paradise is definitely an awesome comic book shop and a worthy replacement. We will definitely be returning frequently. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This place is fantastic. I went in on the first normal day of business. They pointed new comics lovers to things they may like and had a good selection of new and old as well as Indy and local books. Including mine, now. Go in and grab a copy of Lost Angels as well as something else. I always recommend finding something outside your normal comfort zone. They'll kindly point you wherever you want to go.
