I visited this restaurant a few years ago with my husband and we had a lovely meal, visited again a few years later with two children in tow! The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly even though we arrived close to the end of dinner service, there is a good menu, with meat, seafood and vegetarian options. (The menu is printed in Portuguese, English and French) We sat outside under the shade, it's a beautiful location. The staff made the children feel very special which helped us adults relax! For the four of us to eat in the centre of historical Viseu was €47, I expected the bill to be much higher. We recommend you try the chocolate mousse, it is decadent, you won't want it to end. I recommend this restaurant!

Without a doubt, the best seafood rice we have had in Portugal. Fresh seafood, well seasoned rice and a comfortable ambience. A true gem in Viseu!

The restaurant was attached to Viseu's Cathedral. The restaurant has good portuguese cuisine, many dishes for every need and some award winning dishes. Choices between meat and fish are available. Not so many deserts (only two desserts of which only one was a traditional dessert). The waiters were helpful and friendly. Overall a positive experience! If you find yourself in the city you should give it a try!

The owner is super friendly. They have a great outdoor seating area. The staff is very friendly. The blood sausage is out of this world, a must try. I had the octopus with garlic, olive oil, and potatoes. While it tasty i think it needed a bit more garlic. The sangria is very good.

Local and authentic Portuguese food at it's best - infact the best we had during our stay in the country. The people are lovely and really make you feel at home. You'd be mad to miss this place if you are in Viseu!

The meat in the cozido was tough and tasteless, in fact, the whole dish was disappointing. To be fair, the waiter tried the best he could to recompense a bad job. We'll stick to the fish dishes from now on in Viseu.

Terrible!!! After 30 min waiting and asking twice we got the menu. After another hour we got the poor food and on top of it we didn’t even get what we ordered! Do not go there!
