Colombian Steakhouse and Lounge

This Colombian steakhouse completely redefined the dine-in experience for me—with incredible food, cocktails, and nonstop vibes. Starting with the ambiance: the space is absolutely massive. The main dining area is beautifully decorated with floral accents and features a full-fledged bar. If you’re looking for something more upscale, there’s a separate lounge area with an ultra-fancy bar and screens all around. They also offer spacious seating for large groups, making it the perfect spot for birthdays and special celebrations. We kicked things off with their impressive cocktail menu. The Perfect Margaritas are huge—definitely meant for at least four people! They also offer Sangria towers, Patron margaritas, and refreshing fresh coladas. For food, we dove straight into their house specialties. The Picada Pequeña was loaded with house steak, pork ribs, plantains, potatoes, blood sausage, and more. We also tried the Mini Paisa, featuring steak, rice, sausage, egg, avocado, pork belly, beans, and corn cake. To round it out, we had chicken tacos and shrimp tostones, and finished on a sweet note with passion fruit and blueberry cheesecake. But the experience doesn’t stop at dinner—the night turns into a full-on party once the live music and dancing begin. You can also head to the lounge for a DJ-led experience and dance the night away. This place truly has something for everyone and is an absolute must-visit.

The Colombian steakhouse has a really dope vibe. Decorations are so nice! Its Halloween season so it makes this restaurant even more eye catching. Lights, signs, ambiance, decor, big screens and music makes this place truly an experience. The menu is on a tablet with full color pictures which helped with deciding on what to eat. My drink was a caprihina which was not the best. It was made with simple syrup and the limes wasnt even smashed with real sugar. Pretty presentation but not good. I ordered beef with onions. It was dry even asking for it to be cooked medium. The rice wasnt fully cooked. I had an appetizer the avocado shrimp... now that was delicious. Def something I would order again. The Calamari was super chewy with large rings. Not the best. I definitely have to try mire next time and try a better drink. I like the ladies room decor. Very clean. I would recommend.

Colombian food was good. Our server Ceasar, however, was incredible. He was the best part of the night. We had some strawberry dessert plenty of drinks, and a large picada. The place is vibrant, with plenty of seating, valet parking, and plenty of photo opportunities.

Very nice restaurant! The food and atmosphere was great. Our waiter Nelson was cool! It was a little too loud with the live mariachi singer but he was very entertaining. Definitely going back!!

An Outstanding Experience at Colombian Steakhouse My experience at this restaurant was truly outstanding. We ordered the tomahawk steak and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, tender, and grilled to perfection. The quality of the meat was exceptional, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had at a Colombian restaurant. All the food was excellent, the drinks were well crafted, and the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and fast. The place itself is beautiful, clearly designed with great attention to detail. The bar is stylish, the music adds to the great atmosphere, and there’s plenty of parking available. A five-star experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

It is my birthday, and my coworkers surprised me with a celebration dinner. The food, atmosphere, music was everything. I had a blast on my birthday. 🎂 💕 I will be back.

We went to Columbia Steak House on a Friday night and they had live music, which made the atmosphere so much fun and lively. The steak was absolutely spectacular—juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. We also had the shrimp-stuffed tostones, which were delicious and full of flavor. Great service, great food, and a great vibe. Highly recommend visiting, especially on weekends when they have live music

I love a good steakhouse and couldn't wait to try! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and the place was busy. I was sat and the music was blazing. I ordered: Sangria Tower Green Plantain with shrimp Avacado stuffed with shrimp Butterflied Sirloin steak Pechuga salteada Tres Leches My favorite was the green plantain and shrimp! The food was delicious and was a good experience!

Came to this spot from an Instagram post! Street parking is nearly impossible, but they have valet parking. Walked in to beautiful decor the minute you walked in. The bathroom was decorated just as nice. Our server greeted us and was friendly and attentive. We had a pitcher of Sangria it was good. We started with Mix Colombiano for appetizer, it was decent. Now the entrees were great and large portions. We will definitely be back. Oh yeah there is a club in the same vicinity too!

Very pretty place and the food very delish. The music is EXTREMELY LOUD uncomfortable loud. My ears will be ringing for a while and my throat hurting from yelling lmao. If you want delicious Columbian food, bring ear plugs. The food is worth it!

The Colombian steakhouse is a great restaurant for a night out. The food is great and so is the ambience. Especially on a Friday night. They had a DJ and live music and gave it a Miami feel. The food is excellent. I ordered the steak with a side of rice, which also came with beans and French fries. The steak came with hot sauce and chimichurri sauce, which was excellent. The only thing that could have been better were their drinks and just know that if you order an ultimate Margherita it is $45!!!!! Won't be ordering that one again . Outside of that the restaurant was great and I would recommend it.

Go for everything but the steak, unless you don't care about the temperature being anything other than a puck. Ambiance was great. Good music and attractive staff. Drinks are great. Kitchen is accommodating. Been here twice and DoorDash food often from here. PLarson maduro is nice and soft. Chicken breast and onions is a favorite. appetizers are filling.

A beautiful looking restaurant. The service was very friendly. No, it is a shame they don't spend as much attention to the quality of the food as they do the decorations. The $70 Picada was very disappointing and we barely touched it. After expressing our disappointment, they still charged full price and a tip for 4 adults and one child. I always tip twenty percent unless the service is disappointing, but didn't expect for it to be included without notice. And on an item that we had expressed being disappointed with. Seems more like a club, than a serious restaurant and I do not plan to ever return.

The meat was very dry and tough. Attentive service. And great ambience, gives a welcoming feeling.

Well I have to say...I really like this place. The atmosphere is fun and the food was delicious. I had a juicy Rib Eye Steak with some salad and sweet plantains and I had a Bulldog Margarita to go with my meal and my steak was made to perfection and was at the right price. Melanie our server was great and the service was excellent. I will definitely return.

Amazing, amazing! I was very skeptical as I didn't know what to expect and it was my birthday dinner. It's was a group of 6, all family and it didn't disappoint from service to food and amazing ambiance. Lots of choices for drinks and beers; $12 a drink and $6 for a beer, $18 for a Casamigos Margarita. Left full and taking food home, authentic Colombian and entertainment.

Food was authentic taste, cooked well and very good. The service was great our waiter was helpful. The ambiance was also great we had live music and it made the night better.

First timer, decided to go since 96.3 fm was djing live from there. Place was beautiful but it was empty. Not sure if o missed the dinner rush since it was 8pm. I sat at the bar for 20-30 mins before anyone noticed me. I ordered a Mai tai. It as okay, but I would not order it again. I also ordered plantains with guacamole. The atmosphere was not for me. As the bar maids weren't busy. They were on the phone most of the time.

I have been coming to Aja for many years. When ever I am in town for business I make it a point to eat here. Food is always excellent. Never had a disappointing meal. Some standouts are the Tamarind duck. Thai chicken basil (not spicy) but very flavorful. The sushi is extremely fresh and very innovative special rolls. For appetizer try the ribs. One surprise - the yellow submarine roll- odd mix of ingredients - but have shared with many friends and they rave about how good it is. Bonus Aja is open late - so can always get a great meal.

Very good restaurant but too expensive. My suggestion is to inform customers that they included 18% tips individually per ticket. Tips over 18% are sometimes for groups of 6 or more. That's the only suggestion I can say because all the food and services are extraordinary.

We stopped in to Celebrate my Sister Birthday. When we entered we were greeted with a great Big Smile and show our seats. Our server Cesar was Fantastic! He helped us with our menu selections and was very courteous and humorous. The food was Great! the Atmosphere was Nice and my friends said the drinks were very good! I ordered a lemonade so Cesar made a frozen one for me which was spectacular! When you are in Bound Brook stop in and ask for Cesar; you won't regret it. We will be back for Dinner!

More than ample portions in a festive setting. There was a live performance on a stage and everything. Good Latin fare. I'll be back.

Food very mediocre. Tostones were the worst I have ever had and I'm Colombian so I have had plenty of tostones! Cocktails overpriced and poorly made. I went for the environment. Service was efficient. Ohhhh and why did they have to ruin the restaurant with putting a bakery display as you walk in. I go for the mediocre food, to watch soccer and some dancing. I don't need to walk in and see Pan de Bono first thing. Bad move!

Excellent food. I had the salmon and shrimp in white wine sauce. It was fresh and flavorful. Sides were great too. Sandra provided great service.

Went for the first time on Friday night and expect that it was the first of many visits. I enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Although a little loud once the DJ started, I'll just know not to come for a later reservation if volume is a factor.

Came here first time yesterday...service not up to par. Waitress had zero personality. Not friendly at all, no smile just a blank space. On the menu had "Churrasco" as I knew last it was a " skirt steak" but it was just a regular piece of steak at "churrasco" price. Portions on the sides were dismal. Will not be back to this place. FYI - all patrons should be treated as if you value thier business. Hope you straighten that out.

We went on a Saturday night. It was crowded, however there was valet parking. If you don't like to valet your car you probably can find parking on the street. This is more of a night club/restaurant. The music was very loud and I couldn't hear the person next to me. The food and drinks were good and well seasoned. They are generous with the portion size. I didn't like the fact that they add in an 18% tip for any bill over $100 & I didn't realize it so I gave another 18% tip. So I wound up giving a tip for $52.00 instead of $26.00. I was annoyed, because they could have told us it was added already. Usually an automatic tip is added for parties of 6 or more. We were only 3 people.

Back again. Brought my daughter this time. Had another great meal. Get the sangria (red). OMG

2nd time here. We came to try the $11.99 lunch special. It was awesome! I could only eat the soup, as it filled me up! I brought the rest home . The soup was Hearty & flavorful, big pieces of chicken, yucca, potatoes, carrots & pieces of corn on the cob in a super rich perfectly seasoned broth. Finished with cilantro. Yummy! My husband said the chicken leg on the special was done perfectly. Fell off the bone. The rice was delicious. I tasted mine. They obviously use more than just water when they cook it. I'm not sure what type of sauce was on the chicken, but that was wonderful! I can't wait to eat mine tonight. The dessert was super. We had it last time too! One of the best tres leches we've ever had. We had Stiben as our server. Such a great guy. We don't speak Spanish, but we managed with his help! The place is spotless & decorated beautifully! One of our new favorites!

I'm so glad we finally have a Colombian restaurant open up near us! We used to drive 45 minutes to Elizabeth when craving a bandeja paisa or empanadas rellenas. This location did not disappoint, everything was delicious, good service, and quick turnaround. FYI This location is a little more expensive than others and they charge a credit card service fee.

Reservations were made several days in advance, and received confirmation for reservations the day before. Upon arrival, I was informed that reservations were not being honored and was seated way back in a corner. The venue was ridiculously hot, with no air conditioning, only fans. We walked out. Staff kept saying that the owner forgot to deactivate access to make reservations online. I will not give my money to an establishment that has no respect for their patrons.

I am going to be honest. This place was great. The food was delicious, the decorations were pretty. The employees were very polite and kind! The only reason my review is 3 stars is the music on the TV. The music itself is fine, except the actual VIDEO. I gathered some photos, and they were SO inappropriate that I lost my appetite and I couldn't even show you! For example, there was one where a man and a woman were taking off their clothes while "hugging and kissing." If you want to bring any young children here, forget about it! Overall, it's great. Just please don't put inappropriate videos on the television.

We were very disappointed. We came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday with a reservation. Everyone was polite but no one we talked with spoke English. The base from the music had our chairs shaking and unable to have a conversation. After a two hour wait we got our food. I ordered a T-bone stake rare and revived a well done steak that we immediately sent back. 20 minutes later I got a rare T-bone steak that was almost entirely fat and missing the filet half. Asking for the check required us to speak to 3 separate people that didn't know what we were talking about until saying it in Spanish. Positives: they were polite, the food that was correct was great, the place is decorated very nice. We had heard great things and were very disappointed, but maybe we just had terrible luck We will not be back.

Ambiance and service were good but for a so called steakhouse, their steak had already been precooked as told by our waiter, then they quickly re-cook it! We had a mixed platter of different meats, chicken, pork, beef and sausages. The beef was tough and dry (for a steakhouse) the other meats were just ok, tough tostones. To their credit, their sancocho was ok. Too many other steakhouses around and much cheaper with better steak. I'm hoping they were just having a bad day.

The service and attention was excellent and the food was incredible. Our waiter Jefferson did a terrific job on taking care of us and the place is picture perfect. 100% recommend and will come again.

Ambiance was nice but service was not great such that I think there might have been a language barrier. The appetizers were great but my steak dinner (picada paquena) was cooked well done when I asked for med rare. I attempted to ask the server but didn't really get an answer. I guess I could have asked for a manager but was with friends and didn't really want to make a big issue. In addition they automatically charged 18% gratuity on a party of 3 which is ridiculous. I am generally a very good tipper and start at 20% if the service is good but am not against 30 or even 50% for outstanding service. Conversely if service is not up to standard I will deduct accordingly. I might try again if in the area as the menu looked good but can't overlook how badly overcooked my meal was.

Esta fue la ultima vez que venimos aqui. This is the third time that, my husband and I have come to this restaurant, and the first time the service was horrible. The second time we ordered a seafood soup and my husband got intoxicated for 5 days. Now this third time, the food wasn't fully cooked, it was raw and tasted like blood.

I arrived around 7p for dinner. Greated immediately with a smile. Ordered sangria by the pitcher-red. Then ordered the Columbian Steak with rice and meduros. Everything was delicious!! There was a DJ who also sang some favorite Colombian songs. There was a photographer on site and, if interested, took pictures for purchase with frame. Nice elegant touch. There is a large bar and pretty good parking! I enjoyed myself on this Friday night!!

Nice place, but food is subpar - and the times I've been there, their rice is old and does not taste right. Also, the music is so loud you can't hear one another; this is just music from their speakers, not a band. There are better Colombian restaurants out there

The coconut mojitos are sublime! Hubby ordered some fried corn tostones concoction with guacamole as an appetizer but hated it. It looked weird. I had the Pechuga al Grill with potatoes and beans. The chicken breast was tremendous and grilled perfectly. Hubby and I thought the beans were perfect. Hubby ordered the Churrasco Argentino and couldn't finish because it was so big. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The service is slow, but they are friendly. It's even better if you can speak Spanish, especially if you have food allergies like I do. The music they played was really loud to the point that we couldn't converse. Can't wait to go back, though, for another mojito and to try the flan!

Awesome service;great bartender; great variety; tasty food; best nonalcoholic Pina Colada EVER!. I came once for a drink & app & to watch some football and now I'm bringing my family for dinner. I just said to them "this is my new happy place". The ambience, decorations & music are so enjoyable too! Waiting on a sparkly celebration moment for my son & myself.
