Excellent service and very interesting, delicious food! I highly recommend visiting if you are in Chania, Crete. The restaurant is located on a cozy little street with lights and passers-by, giving it a very authentic and warm atmosphere. The food was outstanding – I recommend trying the cheese pie in thin pastry drizzled with honey, a typical Greek specialty and absolutely delicious. We also tried a vegan chickpea curry dish – even if you’re not vegan, it’s definitely worth tasting. The potatoes were prepared in a very creative way – tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The wine recommended by the restaurant was also excellent and really enjoyable. Definitely a 5-star experience – it’s well deserved!

Great server, amazing ambience and the delicious octopus. I wouldn’t recommend fava beans as they are a bit dry and not a “dip” type material, it was my first time trying ( the plate that looks like 3 scoops of potato pure). The Greek salad was amazing 🤤

Just a perfect evening!!! It was totally worth to reserve the table! Our dishes were all on point, above all the octopus🐙 A recommendation is the House-Wine (white) which is very delicious. If you a sweet wine drinker you won‘t it‘s a dry one. The service was above all expectations. Everyone smiled and was very consulting. Besides they created such a good atmosphere additionaly to the small but lovely backstreet character. We had the best restaurant visit in Crete in our 10 days family holiday. Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious — fresh, flavorful. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Every dish had that perfect balance between comfort and creativity. The grilled octopus was incredibly tasty and just melted in the mouth. The lamb was so tender and full of flavor, and the tzatziki — unlike anything I’ve had before — fresh, creamy, and delicious. Everything was so good I couldn’t leave a single bite. Highly recommend this place!

Unique flavors and something for everyone - vegetarians and meat eaters a like. The beetroot salad was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve eaten in Greece. We also enjoyed the moussaka and the curried chickpeas, the the later was a bit heavy on the salt. Good wine and beer selection, as well as blues tunes over speakers. Both dining in the alley and an indoor dining room. We thought we would need reservations but we went by at 7:15 and they got us a table at 8. We’d come back if in Chania longer. Well done Columbo! Ps little on the house cream pies were a perfect ending.

If you visit Chania, Colombo is the obligatory place to come. A real state of cuisine art, everything is prepared with outstanding vision. The best reproduction of Tabbouleh I have ever taste with their own style. You can try everything and will not be disappointed. The staff is very polite and compliant.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been in my life. We tried 4-5 appetizers and I cannot decide which one was better. For the main course I had a catch of the day. Really fresh and perfectly grilled sea bream. The portions were big and so delicious! Service is kind and smiling and technically on a very high level, fulfilling all the needs. Can’t wait to get back!!

Ate here a couple times during our holiday. Fresh well prepared food in a small lane up from the harbour. Good service, lovely wine and food is very tasty. Good for gluten free as well, most of the dishes can be adapted.
