Colombo's Pharmacy

i haven't even successfully gotten a prescription from here yet, but the care and context they've given me is already above and beyond any prior experience i've had in two decades of adulthood. if i lived even a little bit closer, this one conversation would have made this place my permanent go-to. support pharmacies that care! i hope my specific circumstances work out so that i can get a prescription here, if only to shake vito's hand for his work as an advocate for patients.

I am obsessed with this mom and pops pharmacy that seems to have it all together! They are fast, I’m never waiting in line for more than 3 minutes, and there is an intimacy there- you feel like they really have your back at Colombos! I’ve been a tried and true CVS/Walgreens/rite aid goer for my scripts, but I’m so glad I switched to Colombos and will be a customer for many years to come! The head pharmacist is so nice and takes the time to explain any questions you may have, and just helps you in general. You can feel when something is run by genuinely good people and so I’m so lucky to have found that trust in Colombo’s!

The best customer service I’ve ever had from a pharmacy! Always pleasant and patient on the phone and delivery driver was lovely as well. So glad I found them!

Awesome people I've been there 1time and will never go anywhere else. Understand that the patient needs certain medications and they don't judge me for the medication I fill great place

This pharmacy is the real deal! They went above and beyond when I had trouble filling my prescription. Yay for small, local pharmacies! My only complaint is I wish I lived closer!

Best pharmacy in Middle Village. Superior help, great prices, and they answer all questions. They also have a very polite and caring staff. The other pharmacist David has the patience of a saint along with Vito. I have only good thoughts about Columbos Pharmacy. They're like family to me .

I'm truly grateful to be surrounded by incredible individuals who I can rely on, particularly my doctors, but most notably I admire Columbo's pharmacy, Vito Columbo and his staff are phenomenal. They provide exceptional care and compassion. Having been a loyal customer for over twenty years, I can confidently attest that they are absolutely the finest. I went to Colombo Pharmacy for the first time last time, and I am a customer for life. My mom needed paxlovid and CVS of course did not have it. I was referred to Colombo pharmacy and they were so so helpful. They picked up the phone right away. They called CVS to ask for the transfer. They called me back to tell me that the transferred was complete. They waited for me to arrive (close to closing time). They reminded me of what a true pharmacy used to be.

My first visit to pharmacy for a covid test was a good experience. The entire staff is very courteous and professional. I will definitely re-visit this establishment. Martha D Middle Village NY

I just want to say Christina is the sweetest! She never says no to me when asked to deliver selected things to my home from the pharmacy. I only use this more to my advantage when I absolutely cannot leave my house. which is not particularly often. She specifically has gone above and beyond for me and I thank you so much for it. I never have to wait long for something, the usual wait is 15-20 minutes for your meds, and the rare time where they don't have something you do not wait too long for it. Oh, and passport pictures? the older woman in the front gave me six pictures for $6.99!? as compared to CVS which gives you two photos for $11.99. What a dramatic difference. I am so pleased!

If 6 stars were available, I would rate it so! I have been visiting this pharmacy for over 6 years and it has remained consistently excellent!!! To start, the store is well lit, clean, fully stocked with all the pharmacy front store staples. The staff is super friendly and helpful and always smiling! The pharmacy portion, albeit constantly busy, has the nicest pharmacist around. Vito, whose father the pharmacy is named after, is smart, friendly, and is always willing to take time out to talk to anyone whom needs attention. He possesses a skill that has been lost amongst most pharmacists. His compassion and kindness cascades down to his employees, all of whom display a level of professionalism that is unparalleled to any other pharmacy out there. Having your prescription filled here, is worth the trip!! When you go, tell Vito that Mike sent you!!

They are always willing to help their customers, the staff and pharmacists always pleasant, concerned and top -notch. Colombo's embodies what a pharmacy should always be.. Would never go anywhere else .

The pharmacist, Vito Colombo, is disturbingly unprofessional. I made an appointment for my husband to receive the Covid vaccine and he personally called my husband and told him he would not be giving him the vaccine and told him he would rather my husband die than give him the vaccine. As you can imagine, they have had some issues in the past but I didn't think they were that severe where he would actually say he would rather my husband die. I'm so upset. This is not how a medical professional should behave. I did not think we would get this kind of reaction, especially since my family and my in laws have all gone to Colombo's to receive their vaccines without any incident and even have gone to him to receive their medication without any issues. I guess when he's making money off someone he doesn't mind. Needless to say we will not be going their again and will be considering filing a complaint with the medial board.

Nice people but certain policys are ridiculous i hate taking time out of my day traveling there just to pick up somthing when it would be better right after my doctors apt and not have to make 2 trips

Local Pharmacy on Metro. It is a good change from the chain stores. I don't have much to say other than they have the usual items and offer friendly service.

Once again Vito and his team went the extra mile and assisted me with my big bad insurance company. Would not go anywhere else for my meds also they carry all lines of non prescription potions If they do not have it they will get it for you Go there today you will not be sorry

A+ customer service. The pharmacist is very helpful, as well as the other employees. They always have everything I need in reference to over the counter items and prescription medications. Very friendly and kind environment. You won't receive the same service at any other pharmacy out here on metropolitan ave.

I can save a little by using a mail delivery service but will stay with a business that provides friendly, quick and personable service. They will even deliver to your home. Can't beat that.

As good as it gets. Vito and his top team has been so good to me over the past years. I prefer the smaller more quaint pharmacy over the big chain stores like CVS or Walgreens. Vito Colombo has that personal touch that is missing in the bigger stores. His staff is trustworthy and skilled from the Pharmacists to the person that sells Lotto. You will not be disappointed with this experience.
