Food was great. Ordered the promotional bacon jam stout burger and loved it. Fries were also very good. Service was good however the server seemed to disappear at times. Cool interior and ambience but it was fairly cold even in a sweater. With the type of building I imagine it’s difficult to regulate heat in the restaurant though. Bathrooms were very clean. Will be returning.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Service was superb but most of all, the menu was stacked and over delivered. It's called Colorado Mountain Brewery, but I swear the food shines so bright that you forget they brew their own beers. We will definitely be back to try more items.

Great food... enjoyed the beer. Took away a star for not sending us home with a salad dressing… we ordered a salad for to go so we could enjoy it in the morning. Wouldn’t complain much if we were locals… but we are visiting from out of town. A little inconvenient for us to go back and ask for a little salad dressing. Ended up eating it with our instant noodles so it wouldn’t be a waste.

A few options as a vegetarian/vegan. If you are allergic to meat you cannot have the burger or anything fried as they are cooked on the same flat top and fryer. HOWEVER, the salmon tacos are cooked in the oven. I had high hopes but they’re fishy. The soup flight was a hit with my husband and the garlic bread was tasty!. Family also enjoyed the burgers. Definitely recommend the adult root beer. Beer of the month is and Apple Cinnamon beer and the flavor is very subtle. Our server was nice and the brewery is really nice. We will be back.

Stopped in for a late lunch and sat at the bar. Bartender was quick and friendly getting in our food and drink orders. We got a beer, Cranberry Collins cocktail, venison egg rolls, the buffalo chicken wrap, and BLTA. Drinks were great. Egg rolls barely had any venison, but the sandwich and wrap had a decent amount of meat. The food were so so basic fries. Overall we would eat here again though.

It was Monday. I'll use that as their excuse for being off-their-game perfect. The greeting and seating was ok. The waitress came promptly they had about three other tables with people in this big place. The waitress' broom and dustpan were setting leaned against the table next to us through our meal. So here we go. We ordered the Cheddar Cheese Quesadilla that comes with caramelized onions & peppers, sour cream, fire-roasted salsa. We got the tortilla, cheese, and fire-roasted salsa. When my wife asked about the onions & peppers the waitress said the chef must have got mixed-up did we want to have another made. We were trying to be nice and said we would be ok, but we would not have chosen a plain kids quesadilla if we had known. When we received the check I asked if she was going to adjust the check for the lack of sour cream, onions and peppers. She said, now, she had been mistaken the chef set her straight, the cheese quesadilla did not come with these extras, only the Chicken Quesadilla did. Well, see my attached file from their MENU it states they do come with it. So, she lied twice to us. Deceiving behavior must be rooted in this place. Be careful if you go! The bathrooms were not up to the cleanest standards. We have been going here for years and the place needs shut-down and completely remodeled to be like it was when new. The owners are milking it and putting in the least effort to keep it open possible. The parking lot has holes. Be careful. The place is pretty dead. Some noise and music from the drinkers at the bar around the corner from dining. But, find another place to eat. We have had some of the best hamburgers, fries, and beer here in years past. Go anywhere else now! That's my ten cents.

Google
Wow amazing! Great local place to enjoy craft beer and allows dogs on the patio. The food was fresh and yummy. The fish tacos and the hamburger were five stars! The waitresses are very attentive and a wonderful atmosphere for fun!

Google
I really appreciate the service and a very positive atmosphere there! We reserved a table on a patio, but due to rain we were immediately placed inside the restaurant without any waiting. The brewery was very busy and it was a line of people waiting for their turn. I would recommend to reserve the spot ahead of time, it’s very convenient doing it online. Regarding the food, we wanted to try bison , so we ordered a bison appetizer, a bison burger and a bison Wellington meatloaf. The appetizer tasted good, but no sign of bison was identified. The burger with was dry, not any intention to order it again. The bison meatloaf was delicious! That’s the only dish we can recommend from the tasted ones.

Yelp
Our service was top notch at the bar. The two bartenders worked together to ensure that we were always taken care of throughout our meal. Food wise we enjoyed the boneless wings, brussel sprouts, and the beers. The Bison queso was good but wasn't up to what we expected. Maybe a little more seasoning would do the trick. The bar area was very nice and there are tons of TVs at every angle to watch whatever game you'd desire. I enjoyed my experience and would go back if passing through Colorado Springs again.

Hatz L.

Yelp
The service was very good and of course being the old roundhouse, it has some history. We enjoyed sitting outside. However, Now my meal was very good, a bison burger with smoked Gouda (which I could not recognize) bacon, and sunny side up egg. My wife ordered the fish and chips and a salad. Ok, not your cod or halibut but Swai. Do you know Swai comes from the Mekong Delta, yeah, Vietnam. Mekong Delta farm raised. Yep, where combat boots, and Agent Orange residue has been. Not North American fish but Vietnamese farm raised fish, at a Colorado restaurant, in a state that has fish. This old Vietnam Vet laughed his butt off thinking that Swai, a bottom feeding farm raised fish from Vietnam. *update* Is Swai Fish Safe to Eat? The simple answer is no. This is not because of the nutritional content, but because of the way swai is typically raised and fed. Why is swai fish bad for you? The main reasons to never eat swai fish include the presence of dangerous microbes, the use of antibiotics to treat sick fish, the filthy water conditions and the constant mislabeling of swai. The biggest issue with swai fish is the fact that it's factory-farmed. Just like factory-farmed meats, when fish are mass produced out of the wild, there are repercussions. https://draxe.com/nutrition/swai-fish/ https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/swai-fish#concerns

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick drink before we went hiking. the service was great. Our bartender was very prompt at making our drinks and she was also pretty funny. We had great conversation!. My husband and I liked the beer, it was crisp and tasty. It was a little tough to get to because of the location, you had to drive around a parking lot and go up and around other buildings to get there, but it didn't stop us! It was a great open atmosphere where seating was upstairs and downstairs. We didn't get any food, but next time were in town we will for sure!

Phil R.

Yelp
One time review -- stopped in for a bite and was loving it from the get go. Great, open atmosphere with two levels for seating. We sat at the bar since it was midday and the service was spot on! Fish and chips for both of us.... Couldn't have asked for better! Both were perfectly done and fries tasted fresh! Tartar sauce tasted like it was mixed onsite and not from a bottle. If we come through here again, I'll give it another try and update the review. Always tricky to give these spots 5 stars off one visit. If I have the same experience 2 times in a row.... It'll earn the 5 stars.

Yelp
We have avoided this place for nearly two years because of terrible service. The waitstaff and management at the time thought they were there to hang around with each other. The customers are an inconvenience. Decided to give it another try due to close proximity to my home and bad weather. Slow service getting a beer. Awful "cheese pizza". Burnt crust could have broken a tooth. There was literally a smidgen of cheese on this cheese pizza. There has been no improvement. Now both the service and food is terrible. This is so weird because the CMB up north is fine. There's really something wrong with the management of the CMB on 21st. It survives with the tourists. Probably why the waitstaff couldn't care less. They just figure you're a tourist and will never see you again. Locals stay away. Oh. One good thing. The hostess was very nice.

Nanea W.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with a group of 30. We were able to rsvp ahead of time and they accommodated us nicely. We were seated outside and together. Our waiter deserves a 12/10 for her amazing service and getting all the food right. Unfortunately I don't know her name but she was MVP. All the food tasted delicious and the wait was reasonable for how big the group was. Can't wait to come back again!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Ummm. I really wanted to love this place. I feel bought off. "A manager is gonna come talk to you"... *brings check and receipt*...oh they're busy but we comped part of your check". I mean, is this normal here? I expected a nice laid back atmosphere but the most aloof were the staff. My food was border line cold. I guess I just expected some integrity especially since I'm spending my money here. It truly saddens me. It was my first time here. Will recommend against unless you come in a group (i was alone). *for the record, manager never came to talk or check in and server did not care... these places thrive off location. Fyi it's not about the money. I wanted to enjoy your establishment while having good service.

Rachel W.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and they had some pretty good deals! I got a beer, boneless chicken nuggets and the bison queso with chips for $25. In my opinion I thought the food was average - the queso could have used more salt and the wings weren't evenly covered in sauce. The service was great though! If you get the seasonal beer they give you a free sticker which I thought was cute. also both the men's and women's bathrooms have baby changing stations, which is helpful! I would definitely come back here in the future

Brad W.

Yelp
Food was good here. We got delivery and then went to the actual restaurant. First food was a sold Turkey club and a good chicken wrap. Chips over fries and rings. Lastly, we had a green Chile hamburger and a good chicken quesadilla. All food above average.

Laura S.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. So was the beer. Our group tried the plum blackberry Sour. The food was truly a step above. I had the soup flight and two of us had the Brewery Club. Our group also had the fish and chips which was a huge portion, and one of the burgers! So delicious!!!

Shanna N.

Yelp
Had lunch yesterday and we really enjoyed our food and service! Typical brewery style inside. Quite a few TV's. They were running short on staff but handled it very well! The food was fresh and so yummy! Beer was good too! The Bison Poppers were my favorite! Definitely having those again! Yum!

Tré B.

Yelp
We are in Colorado for a quick weekend getaway. We were on our way to another food spot when we drove by this place and saw they had some of the better "local" dish options so we decided to eat here instead. We started our meal with the bison poppers and beer cheese soup. The bison poppers were delicious. Freshly battered and fried, they had the perfect crunch and just the right amount of spice with the jalapeño. Even though they were delicious it would probably be a one time try for me because of the price. $15 for an appetizer is a bit steep. The beer cheese soup was tasty but a little underwhelming. I was hoping for a stronger flavor. Another one time try item. We chose the bison meatloaf Wellington as our entree. I personally hate meatloaf and this is something I would definitely try again. The meat was very moist and the puff pastry added the perfect flavor and texture. I would ask for it without the topping sauce. It was ketchup. Disgusting. We topped off the meal with the bourbon bread pudding. It was the perfect dessert to share. Whether you like bread pudding or not this is enjoyable. It was a much drier, crunchier pudding. No mushy texture to be found. Would definitely come back if I was in the area to try a burger.

Yelp
What an awesome upscale brewery in the old Roadhouse in Colorado Springs, Co. Love this historical building! Our lunch, service, food and experience were fabulous!!

Randall B.

Yelp
High prices. Okay, food. Great ambiance. Okay, service. The reuban was nothing memorable, and they were super skimpy on the portion of fries. The chicken sandwich was okay, but again, for the price, I wouldn't return. Aside from the ambiance and decor, this place really wasn't anything special. Two entrees, two desserts, and a beer came out to about $80. Wow. We put down big bills, and the server never brought our change. This is pretty unacceptable. Aside from being on a main road in a prime location, I'm not sure what's keeping this place in business.

Crystal B.

Yelp
I couldn't decide on a rating so I decided to rate based off of the food and beer. The kitchen did a great job on the food. My husband enjoyed the beer, but that's where it stops. The service was so poor. It took nearly 10 minutes for someone to come over to take our drink order. After our food was delivered, we tried to immediately ask for utensils/napkins as well as small plates since we were sharing and the person walked away. We tried to flag down several people and no one acknowledged us until finally the busboy stopped and helped us. We kept seeing the staff huddled around the hostess stand just bullshitting too. We weren't the only people that were waiting either. I wouldn't return back here, but I am willing to check out the other location in hopes of better service.

Courtney T.

Yelp
Great blue cheese burger! Would definitely come here again! We were traveling through on our way to Garden of the gods and this was the perfect stop off. I got the cookie sundae for dessert and it was perfection!

Flo V.

Yelp
First off..... there was 13 of us in our group as a surprise Birthday party for a family member. Calling to make reservations to make this surprise doable, was easy and very pleasant experience. The location and the staff were perfect. I requested a table in the back of the bar, because I know how loud my family can get!! . I'm actually surprised that someone didn't come by to quiet us down. But, they didn't and we had a GREAT time!! Jonathan S. was our server and he was very, very good. He was our only table server and I cannot say enough positive things about him. Amazing young man. All our drink orders were jolly on the spot!! He calmly worked though our family antics with such ease, we were amazed. We started off with drinks, appetizers, then went on to order food. Everyone was quite pleased and not one order got messed up, nor did anything need to be return to the kitchen. Sooooooo, kudos to the kitchen staff as well !! Yes, I would suggest stopping for some good food and a nice atmosphere.

Lili C.

Yelp
I've always passed by this place and never went. I'm glad I did. The food was awesome. I had the chicken, and it was really good. We also ordered the egg roll appetizer, and it was delicious. The blueberry BBQ sauce that came with it was amazing. Now, the beer! It was ok! I stuck with the hefeweizen, and it wasn't too bad. The flight is a good way to go if you want to try them before deciding what to drink. The service was good, and they didn't hover. Service was quick at the bar, so there were no issues there.

Michael M.

Yelp
It was OK. But I rush back, no. The beer was pretty good, sampled seasonal versus the standards. The food was adequate. Nothing super exciting despite ordering the specialties, including the venison eggrolls, bison meatloaf Wellington, Colorado pizza. Not bad. But that's about it. VERY expensive for just adequate.

Asminda F.

Yelp
Walked in, asked particularly for a both, was sat at a low top. Waited around 15 minutes, no one asked or came to our table. Several waitresses were in the room didn't even walk over to attend us. We didn't wait around any longer, as we were walking out we addressed our complaints with the manager, and all she said was sorry guys! Nothing to remedy our experience! Don't waste your time!

Wallace R.

Yelp
Good service. Great food. Friendly staff. Good beer. Clean and tidy setting. Great bar area with a host of televisions.

Seth N.

Yelp
I gave it 4 stars; I've visited here a couple times and unfortunately the service is consistently slow. The beers and food are good, however. I have always come here after a hike and the food (and selection) is pretty good. The environment itself is fantastic; tons of space, cool decor, etc.

Judy H.

Yelp
The food was delicious took some home. The place was packed. The waiter was helpful but busy. The service was okay. The ambiance was great. Very family oriented.

Taysia B.

Yelp
This place was amazing! The bison Wellington was well-balanced and they split the plate for us without asking. The carrots and mashed potatoes were also amazing, nothing outshone anything else. The beer cheese soup was also good and not super thick, the portion was small but it was filling. The IPA was smooth and citrusy. Our waitress was also very nice and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself was very nice, but they were slow to bus tables since there was no busser I could see. Menu also looked underwhelming compared to the food and atmosphere, but no big deal. Would highly recommend regardless!

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
Great brewery with lots of natural light, an extensive menu and excellent beer. I tried the fried pickles and sweet chili glazed Brussel sprouts. What a unique rendition of both dishes! The fried pickles were truly fried...large puffy exterior and hot tender pickles slices on the inside served with ranch. The Brussels had a little kick which was softened with the sweetness of the chili. The amber was robust and flavorful. One of the best I've had! I really like the ambiance here and beautiful view of the mountains.

Morgan U.

Yelp
Everything was GREAT! We put in a to go order for pick up on DoorDash to eat at our hotel. We ordered the pretzel appetizer, Rocky Mountain Florentine, Kids chicken nuggets and fries, and the small Alpine Wrap. The pretzel appetizer came with two pretzels and some DELICIOUS cheese dip and mustard. The pretzels were super fresh and perfectly salted. The Rocky Mountain Florentine was more than enough to share and came with two giant pieces of grilled Texas toast, so good! My daughter absolutely loved her chicken nuggets and fries (so did I!). Last but not least the small Alpine Wrap was the same size as any wrap anywhere else and so good. The regular size must be jam packed! We thoroughly enjoyed all of it and had no issues!

Michael I.

Yelp
Sucks! Ribs are dry and tasteless. Except for the sauce And about as many fries as a regular McDonald's. I threw the whole order in the trash. Not worth the calories. Absolutely terrible experience. Worst ever. I called the manager and he offered only a weak and pathetic response " I'm sorry you feel this way" and hung up on me. What a seriously un-Colorado place to eat. And their fish tacos are a joke. Stupid rotten awful restaurant.

Becca B.

Yelp
After a long day of hiking and exploring beautiful Colorado Springs, nothing sounds better than a delicious meal and a cold beverage. Colorado Mountain Brewing is a perfect place to stop! We started off with the Bison Queso...amazing! This was easily one of the best dips I have ever tasted. We also ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad and the Colorado Pizza. The Colorado Pizza has ground bison, chorizo, red onion, smoked gouda, and an amber ale BBQ sauce. The menu was extensive and everything was delicious. Every item that the servers passed by with also looked tasty, including the massive pretzel appetizer. Order a cold beverage and filling meal at Colorado Mountain Brewing!

Kerry S.

Yelp
Super choice restaurant amidst a bunch of restaurants on Interquest Parkway! The hubs and I came here on a whim and it was perfect. Kelton was our server - he made dinner exactly what we wanted, and he was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows how to "read" his guests. Even brought malt vinegar for my fish and chips without me even asking! Fish and chips were surprisingly good and plentiful. They got the batter so crisp and the fish inside stayed HOT for the entire meal. Hubs enjoyed his alpine chicken wrap as well. In short: we'll happily come again when we're in the area at dinnertime.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I come here all the time it's one of our favorite spots! I always get a chicken sandwich and start with a pretzel or fried pickles and he usually does something bison. The bison burger or meatloaf he says is phenomenal and I can't bring my best friend without her getting the bison meatloaf. Service is always great and it's a cozy restaurant.

Denianne B.

Yelp
Big thumbs up on the soft pretzel! The space was cool and rhetorical service was prompt. We almost made a second trip there on our vacation.

William S.

Yelp
Great Appetizer Garlic Fries The Spiked Rootbeer was the best drink in town. Pasta was Plenty of TV to catch the next game. It would have 5Star if the Stout beer was better.

Hollie M.

Yelp
Tons of beer choices, great service. Limited vegetarian/vegan options. The food taste was OK. A better place for beers with friends.

Jan S.

Yelp
Hostess with shoulder length/hair parted in middle -hair needs to be welcoming and smile. I did not see her smile once when we were there! She even made sour faces! I asked her for a fun seating area bc we were from out of town and she seated us to the right at a 4 low top in middle of room. She was short with responses as well. Our waitress was a very bubbly happy person but did not tell us it was happy hour or about specials. She had brown hair and it was up in a cute style. This was a Sunday evening at 415pm- June 30th and my husband chose this place for his birthday! The food was subpar to say the least. BLTA had thick and fatty bacon like beef jerky. My son's hamburger was overcooked and my husbands fish had zero flavor. All in all I would def not recommend this place!!

Zander S.

Yelp
Good food! Appetizers were good try the bison poppers. They were interesting and thought we wouldn't like it but they were a huge hit at our table. Got the chicken sandwich and was solid. Has a little kick but good grubbing food. Solid place.

Gregg N.

Yelp
Pretty good. I grabbed the Garden of the Gods Burger (veggie burger) with Sweet Potato Fries. It was actually a good burger. A lil too much lettuce, so I pulled some off. I'm a fry lover, so there wasn't enough sweet potato fries! Check them out! I'm not a beer drinker, so don't ask me about their brews!

Ron B.

Yelp
Food was good , service was good, ambulance was what I expected at a brewery. My only negative was the front hostess staff said the right things but we didn't feel really welcomed, more like they were inconvenienced by our presence. So for that... a lower rating

Joe N.

Yelp
Great selection of food and beer. Excellent service! We picked this place on a whim and also seeing other reviews. It paid off.

Trey C.

Yelp
Fantastic service and food! Brussels sprouts and salmon salad were phenomenal! This is a must try!

Max B.

Yelp
Went out for some appetizers and beers with the boys. Had an absolute wonderful night will be back for sure our server. Ellie was always on top top it and was just all around so good. She made sure we always had what we wanted sauce, drinks...Etc. Always a good time with ellie as your server!

Bob M.

Yelp
Food was out of the park good, had the BLTA Bacon Lettice Tomato and Avacodo total kick butt, but since i was driving had the housemade Rootbeer. Creamy goodness a must try. Now my wife had the house club, she was in heaven and the brewery rendition of a Blue Moon disapeared as fast as that club. Go in for the Breweries beer selection, but stay for the food. I know its tough sometimes to be the designated driver, but the rootbeer will be your reward.

Rhiannon S.

Yelp
Stoped here to get takeout for dinner on the way into town. We ordered about an hour ahead of time and still waited about 15 minutes for the food to be brought out but it wasn't bad seeing how crowded they were. I got truffle fries for an appetizer and they were delicious. I would suggest maybe pairing them with a truffle aioli to add some creaminess to it. I got the Bison Chili for my entree. I got the largest size and it really wasn't that big so I almost wish I would have gotten two because it was really good. The perfect amount of spice and blend of ingredients. They have a decent amount of parking and the patio looked homey but that's all I can really comment on the ambiance since we just got takeout. Overall it was a good pick and I'm glad we went!

Heather H.

Yelp
The food was, let's just call it OK. The girls at the hostess desk were not friendly Our server was great! However, he lacked in checking on us throughout our meal, and we had to ask for a couple different things that were not on the table Would I eat here again? Probably not.

Plugge S.

Yelp
Everything we tried to order to eat, they were out of .... No meatloaf, no mile high dip sandwiches, no gluten free buns, no mule glasses or straws for our drinks, waitress yelled at me when I went to bar to get some, not our waiter....tarter sauce for fish and chips was mayo and horseradish... hamburger was way over cooked when ordered medium no garlic aioli as menu says ... waited 15 minutes for drinks and no cheese cake for dessert ... 10 to 15 minutes in between everything we ordered to tell us they were out of it ... person who brought out meal argued blue cheese was aioli ! Soooo rude, same waitress that yelled at me for getting straws .... Nope, nope, nope ! Oh forgot the lettuce on our burger had black dirt on it !

Laura F.

Yelp
We took a relatively large group to Colorado Mountain Brewery. They were very accommodating of our group reservation for over 10 people on. Saturday night with just a few day's notice. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. The overall noise level was not too loud and allowed us to have conversations with one another. The drink order was taken quickly and brought out to us. When someone in the group didn't like their drink they replaced it with no extra charge. Ordering food was fast too. We got our meals quickly. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. This is a great place for groups and has a varied menu that pleases every palate. I've been here many times and they are consistently a great option.

Kelly S.

Yelp
great service. Had the giant pretzel and the Colorado pizza. Terrific food and don't forget the homemade root beer. Yum

Annet S.

Yelp
I love Colorado Springs one of our favorite place to visit. I wanted to have authentic food and a nice environment we were passing by after our trip to the mountains. We walked in. The lady in the front was friendly and nice. She ask for my name and told me it was gonna be a 20 min wait we waited less than that. We go seated and I had to order the appetizer that were highly recommended. It did not disappoint. My favorite part was the steak so juicy and great quality. WE CAME FROM LAS VEGAS NEVADA. WE APPROVE !

Ed B.

Yelp
The customer service at the Colorado Mountain Brewery is fantastic, but our server Bilal takes it to a whole new level. He makes us feel like family. Tonight the restaurant was Friday night busy, but he was able to juggle and meet our needs before we realized they became needs. He makes you feel like you are his only customer! We sat at a high top in the bar area and watched around us as everyone was smiling, talking and having a great time. My partner ordered a chicken sandwich without the bun (she is gluten intolerant). It was made to perfection with extra pieces of large lettuce so that she could make a wrap with the fresh avocados and tomatoes. It comes with a spicy sauce that brings just enough heat to spice up the sandwich and my fries when I sneak a dip. I ordered the Kit Carson Burger. Every bite was a treat! The beef was cooked perfect, it had some shredded bbq pork on top of that and a couple fried pickles to top it off! There is nothing like going to a restaurant and being treated like you are family. The Manager, Randy, was very personable and seemingly supported his staff. The staff are happy to see you, started with the team at the front door! Somehow, it was incredibly clean too. Thank you Bilal and Randy- we appreciate you! Cant wait until next time.... Sincerely, Amber and Ed

Chris L.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Did not partake in any of the beers but my wife had the Alpine Chicken sandwich and I had the Mile High Prime Rib sandwich. Both were tasty and the fries we good. I would recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.
