Colosseo Prestige Rooms

Colosseo prestige rooms - situated in great location. Be prepared for a smelly building entrance ... may have been the heat but small sewerage permeated the entrance. Also our room was at the end of the corridor where the supplies and cleaning stuff was kept and again there was a prominent smell that permeated the area and filtered into our room. I have stayed in better places at much cheaper rates in the same area Value for money - rating of 2.5 out of 5

I recently stayed at this property and was extremely disappointed with my experience. |The location of this accommodation is definitely convenient, but unfortunately that’s where positives ends. |First of all the room had a strong and unpleasant smell that did not go away despite keeping the windows open. |It was so distracting that it made it hard to relax and sleep well during the night as the Main Street was so noisy. ||While the staff was polite they seemed natural and unhelpful when I mentioned an unpleasant smell in the room. ||The room was also nothing like the hat that as shown in the photos. Online, everything looked bright, modern and clear but in reality it was worn down and dated. For the price I paid I expected much better! |After this experience I would much rather stay at the hotel where I know there is a higher standard for cleanliness and value. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place as it just didn’t live up the expectations set by its price.

We had a great stay! The room was immaculately clean, we had everything that we needed and an added bonus of a balcony. Reception staff very friendly and Luca helpful whenever we needed to message, Booked our airport transfers and held on to our luggage after check out. Perfect location for exploring Colloseum and Roman Forum but most of the city is walkable. Would definitely come back!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Baby beds were arranged as requested. Temperature in the rooms was adjustable. |They also arranged a bigger transfer car from and to the airport for all of us with two baby chairs. |Breakfast is not included but mini fridge and snacks were filled every day free of charge. We found a good breakfast spot around the corner (La Licata).|Perfect place if you want to visit the colosseum.|

Let me start with the positives: the location of the apartment is very good; the Colosseum is about a 5mins walk away, and the Termini station is about 10mins. The staff, while were not able to help much with our situation, was generally friendly.||BUT, the room we were given was in a terrible state, perhaps equivalent to a 1-star accommodation. The bed was old and musty, and the wardrobes were worn-out and shabby. The first night brought an unpleasant surprise: an awful moldy smell came from the air conditioning (which wasn’t even turned on!), and we only managed to fall asleep by keeping the windows open. We reported this to the staff, who told us that this smell sometimes happens when it rains, and their solution was to keep the windows open all day—which didn’t help much. Since the apartment is in a very busy area, it’s impossible to get a proper rest with the windows open, as the noise outside continues until about 2:00 am. This place absolutely doesn’t deserve its current rating, and I personally wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Excellent room with location just next to metro station. Super close to Colosseum, easy walking distance. It is a bit tricky to find because there is no big sign but staff was very easy to contact and helped us! Room refreshment replaced every day for free! Would recommend.

Alles war wunderbar!! And a refill of everything everyday :) Location is also good.

Simple clean room with location just next to metro station. Super close to Colosseum, easy walking distance. Initially a bit tricky to find after 24hrs travelling but Luca super easy to contact and helped us find our way! Room refreshment replaced every day for free! Would recommend.
