Stopped to purchase a boat permit at 7:45 am, be prepared to wait as counter is very slow and there will be a line. Was able to buy my Wyoming aquatic permit online at Wyoming game. Next to Moran station to have kayak inspected. Only one attendant working permit windows but is pleasant and obviously answers lots of questions.

A quiet little town that is a must to visit! Good hiking trails, visitor info center and gift shop. Found some unique items and at a reasonable price. Great views from the Marina and the trails.

We went to Colter Bay after being unable to find parking at Jenny lake, Strong/Leigh lake. And you know what, it was a blessing !!! Great views of the Tetons over Jackson Lake !! Great hiking trails and you can rent kayaks right at the marina. Next time we come back, that's what we are doing. Forget the thousands of people clogging the trails at Jenny lake. Go to Colter Bay !!

A nice stop to on your way to Grand Teton. They have a visitor center for stamping your passport, details, souvenirs and backcountry permits. There are trails around this visitor center for you to explore and a campground nearby.

Drinking water available. Public restrooms available. Gift shops and a visitor center. The gift shop is closest to the main road. The visitor center is further down the way on your right! You can get the official Grand Teton National Park passport stamps, stickers and patches.👌😎

Ranger at the visitor center was very helpful in suggesting an alternative way to get to Inspiration Point when the boats were out, alongside additional information regarding the one-way scenic drive along Jenny Lake that helped me not backtrack and waste time, many thanks!

We took the family here to learn more about the Grand Tetons. The visitor center is tiny. The kids liked the bear stuffed in there. We got a map here of the park. The way we came in didn't have a gate. Do walk down to the bay. We walked out around it to the bigger body of water. It's a beautiful walk between the trees. To just walk out to the opening is only about 0.3 miles Long. It's handicap accessible and stroller friendly. Look for the sidewalk to the right of the visitor center for way down. If this review helps you, please give us a thumbs up! #crazykleinadventure

Always an amazing and transcendent experience at @Grand Teton National Park. Colter Bay cabins are rustic and quiet, just what is needed if you’re in need of a contemplative and reflective time. A wonderful place to get centered.
