Felt like was being profiled by an employee while trying to get two tees. I was looking for two different sizes. They stack the shirts 30 deep and it’s difficult to identify sizes. The guy there asked if I needed help and I said no and he just stood right in front of me staring. What a creepy feeling. I guess since I’m Hispanic he thought was going to steal. Bought my merchandise but will never go there again.

Great deals. They often run sales because the merchandise isn't necessarily their newest, but the quality of products is unbeatable. They offer discounts, so ask if you think you qualify. Also use your rewards with Columbia because the points add up quick. The 3 times I've been there the employees were so helpful and friendly.

Great place to shop on the way in or out of PDX for very usable Columbia outer wear. They do not have a large selection due to their location in the airport but they do carry all the basics a traveler needs to get through. If the size needed is not available be sure to inquire with the helpful sales person. Their storage area is downstairs and they are most accommodating to check for sizes.

Our original thought was Columbia clothes at an airport - this is going to be pricey! We were wrong - great selection of clothes and many at bargain price. We ended up with a few polos for around $20 each and a great late season coat for around $60. Helpful customer service - check out membership for additional savings.

They are only open past security at C9 with a small selection of products. Staff is friendly and helpful. The main store is closed due to all the construction happening at the airport.

Columbia doesn't treat their long time veterans well at all, just let my mother goes after 15+ years of loyalty, telling her they have to much management at their distribution location, didnt offer to transfer her or offer a severance package. they just kicked her to the curb. If you want to be treated like you matter don't gain employment through Columbia sports wear

I tried to exchange two 2 for $30 t-shirts for the same priced shirts with a different design 5 minutes after I purchased them. My husband didn't like the ones I picked out for him as a surprise when coming back from the bathroom. When I attempted the exchange, the girl working was new and didn't know how to exchange them. Ok, fair enough. But I waited for a manager and one never came. I asked her to please call her manager since the gate was closing and they proceeded to finally try to attempt and exchange over the phone. But sadly, it took too long and I couldn't miss my flight over $30 so I had to leave with the shirts my husband didn't like. I understand wanting to exchange shirts using the system for inventory reasons, but I offered to leave the receipt. I am very disappointed the manager did not encourage the new cashier to exchange them over the system later.

While Columbia's airport shop is on the smaller side, but it is has a nice selection and friendly staff. They do maintain a nice inventory of the more popular items , and their offerings changes as the seasons do. By the best thing about shopping in this store, as well as all other stores in Oregon, it you pay no sales tax!

Manager James and others on staff provided great customer service in shipping me a purchase. Prices are the same as you'd find at non-airport locations.

Suzie Q's Fun Facts: "Columbia" is an alternative historical and poetic name for the United States of America. =~=~=~=~=~=~=~ I would not normally choose to shop at an airport clothing store, in particular because a store's selection wouldn't be as good as its off-airport counterpart (though prices at PDX are supposed to be the same as off-airport). However, on this particular occasion, I found myself arriving at PDX several hours before my scheduled flight. So I had time to kill. I had, just one day before, visited the Columbia Sportswear Outlet at Woodburn (http://www.yelp.com/biz/columbia-sportswear-outlet-woodburn?hrid=BP_98rhKprdeVEHzdlO4xw) and had bought some great finds. I wasn't expecting the deals here to be as good, and indeed, they weren't. But I did find a very cute long-sleeved top. My size wasn't on the racks, but the nice sales guy called down to a colleague and my size was brought up. I took advantage of a 10% off coupon available for joining Columbia's e-club, bringing my purchase to only $30 (no sales tax). No regrets!

They have a decent selection on jackets however they are full price. Even with the 10% Yelp discount it doesn't bring down the price by much. The sale items were limited too. I guess this place is hit and miss. Don't get me wrong as it is a good store, however I am cheap and always want a good deal when I buy stuff like this. Still worth a look if you are passing thru and you like the Columbia brand.

Great way to burn time and some productive shopping for great family owned business started in Portland while at airport. Check out their OMNI Freeze line. Got a variety of them in shirts. Great little store packed with good representative good from their vast selection.I have now become a fan of them to supplement my looks for casual /work/outdoor clothes. Up there with Patagonia, North Face gear. All the employees are friendly that I met. They had a 20 % discount card if you stop by their demo booth nearby. I ended up buying a lot more than planned but got great deals and chance to try out in fitting room. Shout out to Christian, Lauren, Michelle?(could not recall name exactly) that was demoing OMNI Freeze on July 6 and pointed me to the store nearby in airport with discount card...and other couple of helpful employees. Woof

Manager Robin and Brandon thank you for the great customer service. Robin assisted my family with jackets going all the at from try it on giving the highlights and what to consider when considering to purchase the jacket. What's your plans and use for the jacket. Brandon for remembering we were in the store and assuring us with our purchases. The store is clean and has a large selection of women's SALE items but not such a large selection for the Men's SALE items. If you use Yelp you can get a 10% off coupon.
