"Columbus Landfall National Park Columbus Landfall National Park encompasses both the land and water on the entire west side of Grand Turk, a total of 1,280 acres of protected areas, including around 25 excellent scuba diving sites. Most of these dive sites sit along a submarine wall that drops more than 7,000 feet deep. Places such asCoral Canyon and Black Forest have stunning gardens of hard and soft corals clinging to the edge of the wall, anddivers can spot everything from colorful angelfish to sleek reef sharks there. (As you may have guessed by its name, this is also believed by some to be where Christopher Columbus first landed in the New World.)"

Beautiful, natural and scenic view. One of my favorite spots on the island. I'm blown away by God's handiwork every time I see it.

Nothing is here but an neglected pavilion January 2022. It was not worth the walk from cruise ship port. Its nearby beach walk has far better scenery.

Totally deserted beach. Nice waves. Nice sand. Loved it. Bars and shops dotted along the opposite side of street.

Was stationed at the US Navfac in 1964 on Grand Turks. Now a University. Not much there then or now. Cruise ship area nice. Snorkeling best bet.

Beautiful beach. Expected a landmark or something but if there was one I missed it!

Calm and most of the time very peaceful with no one else around... 💆🏾‍♂️🌤🏝

I think it's a pretty historic place but I couldn't really see anything to look at or any markers.

Quick beach stop with not much recognition or signage. Was hoping for some history.
