Su Su Waterfall Fried Chicken

Not only is this specialty crispy fatty juicy fried chicken delicious.. the place is a total gem. Air conditioning (AC, for those searching this term!) is clutch in the brutal heat, yet it retains a classic stripped down humble food stall vibe without needing to be a fancy modern place to have such amenities. Staff were incredibly friendly, smiley, and welcoming. They spoke English well and were very easy to order from and interact with, yet we were the only tourists and all others were locals. Clear this is a genuine experience. Extremely affordable, and a highlight of my food experiences on my trip so far. Seaweed soup is also addicting, indescribably comforting start to the meal. You can see the ‘waterfall’ oil frying technique right in front when you walk up. There is also a cool little hidden groovy cocktail bar tucked in across the alley from it. In a sea of street food stalls and modern big city restaurants, it can be tough to sift through the noise. Without a doubt this one is worth prioritizing.

This is some of the best food I've had in Vietnam. Beautiful, succulent chicken and flavourful rice! The seaweed soup is to die for. I'm coming back again before I leave. Also if anyone knows what the lumpy brown soybean sauce is I would love to know. I need to find it back home.

Crazy to me that people are not going crazy about this place. Easily one of the best chicken dishes I've tasted in my life. Not over run by tourists even though it is in the middle of the touristy area, the staff is lovely and sometimes there's even a cute dog hanging around. Very *very* affordable and even more tasty.

This hidden little place is worth the visit if you’re after some fried chicken. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly, with so much flavour that seeped through the skin and chicken meat. You’ll also have the option to order either chicken breast or thigh. The only thing is that we wish the rice was served hotter and was more moist. Despite this, it complemented the chicken well. We went around 4pm on a Wednesday, and we easily got a table for two. However, within minutes, the restaurant was almost full with customers. Staff are friendly and accomodating, and there’s also the cutest sausage dog at the front of the store.

Vietnamese fried chicken, definitely worth the try. I found the chicken thigh to be perfectly crispy and juicy, all the while the dipping sauces table side are a perfect pairing. I saw some complaints about the portion size being small, it's only 55K VND guys, come on. Order another portion if you're still hungry, it's only another 38K VND with no rice. I personally found 1 thigh with rice to be sufficient. The dining room has AC, that was a pleasant surprise!

This is an amazing, really local, fried chicken outlet. I've never seen chicken cooked like this before. It was delicious. Don't expect a flash outlet though. This is street food and the outlet represents that. People were really friendly. I went with a Vespa tour guide. He ordered for me. I believe they have limited English.

Had dinner on a weekend. It was busy but not crowded. The staff are helpful. The menu has pictures and English descriptions. The chicken was great. It was a bit skimpy, but it tasted really good. The skin was flavorful. The sauce is delicious. Couldn't pay with a card. Will definitely return.

They have air conditioned seating area! The service was not the best, but the food made up for it. The chicken skin was super crispy, tomato rice was cooked well, not mushy. But the sauce. The brown sauce in the bottle, is like, a garlic fish sauce and it was so good. I’d 100% come back here. 55k for a plate of rice with the chicken thigh
