We went for coffee with my friends and, honestly, we were a bit disappointed. The coffees took almost 20 minutes to arrive, and the taste wasn’t very pleasant. I ordered a sweet muffin and the banana flavor was terrible. One of the waitresses wasn’t very friendly when we asked why the coffees were taking so long. I hope you can take the feedback into account to improve some aspects of the service :)

The winter porridge was absolutely divine! The adaptogenic hot choc was delicious and perfect with a shot of decaf. All food was displayed beautifully and tasted incredible. The staff were kind, professional and welcoming. The heaters on for winter was a lovely touch. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Such a cute cafe. We had the mushroom on toast & acai bowl. Food tastes quite good but nothing special just like any other breakfast cafe. The menu is quite pricey, $30 for eggs benedict with ham but I guess that’s the standard price in Byron Bay. We also had their smoothies, shine on me, it tastes refreshing.

Very busy cafe and we were lucky to get a seat last minute. You can order from the tables but this finishes at 1:15pm I think it was, so it wouldn’t let us order. We had to then go up to the counter. Buckwheat pancakes were pretty good. Husband loved the flavours of the mushroom toast. We didn’t order drinks as we’d already had a coffee. Good selection of vegan options. Love that it’s organic

Amazing salmon eggs Benedict and mango smoothie, absolutely delicious! Cute decor and able to sit inside or out. Dog friendly and great vibes. Would definitely go back! The counter cakes looked excellent too.

Really enjoyed our breakfast here. The Açai bowl being outstanding. Chilli scramble tasty, but far too spicy. Maybe my own fault as it’s in the name. Coffee was fab loved it

Stumbled upon this cafe by chance, and OMG was I glad that I did. I only had the banana bread, but it was THE best vegan gf banana bread ever, lovingly served. I'm craving it from Sydney! I can't recall what my partner had, but he said it was brilliant and totally cleaned the plate. Will be back here on our next visit.

I personally had the great experience of visiting combi over the Easter long weekend. The service was excellent from start to finish. I had the delightful crumpets with sides (butter, honey, jam and peanut butter) as well as an iced vanilla latte. All were easily a 10/10 giving that authentic home made vibe that we all crave. Cant recommend enough! And if you can get an inside corner seating you’re well in for a treat.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Combi. This is a fabulous eatery in the heart of Byron Bay. Just about everything can be made gluten free or dairy free. I'd like to see a more kid-friendly menu, because the existing options are for more mature palates. (Note that the prices here are very high!) the staff are very cool and the ambiance is super hipster.

Yelp
Amazing little cafe! The service was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. Great serving sizes and lots of vegan and gluten free options.

Yelp
After a week of eating greasy Asian food in Sydney, I was desperately in need of something healthy and fresh. Insert Combi. The menu is mostly focused on drinks and smoothies. They have a handful of food items, most of which come in a vegan and non vegan version. I ordered the avocado toast and a matcha latte. Both were excellent. They have tons of different milk options so I asked the barista what she recommended with my latte. My only regret is that I didn't come here sooner so I could've came back more times to try multiple things. I am still thinking about this place and those smoothies a couple months later...

Yelp
Loved the bright, cheery atmosphere of this place. Didn't eat a full meal here -- just coffees and dessert. The coffees were good (you can choose from dairy milk, Bonsoy, coconut milk, or almond milk) and they have a huge range of other beverages (teas, kombucha on tap, smoothies, juices, etc.) For dessert, I had the beetroot brownie (vegan). It was decadent and pretty tasty. The "beetroot" part intrigued me, but you really couldn't taste it. I think it was more to add moisture to the brownie, and it worked. I couldn't eat that brownie often (it's so rich!) but it was a nice treat. This place is vegetarian, not vegan, but they do clearly-mark all of their vegan options on the menu and display case. (Also their gluten-free options.) Service was friendly and helpful, and prices were pretty good compared to other places we went in Byron Bay. I'm from Melbourne and I've never actually been to the Combi here -- but after my good Byron Bay Combi experience, I'm sure I'll hit up the one here in Melbs soon!

Yelp
Came here this AM because we were staying across the street and this place is a huge Byron staple apparently. Great soundtrack, place is adorable, service was nice. The pastries and coffee look amazing but food wasn't. I ordered the vegan veggie sandwich sans cheese and my gal ordered the vegan avocado toast. Hers came out burnt. And mine came with barely any vegetables - didn't see the avocado so I asked for more, and I think I got almost no seasonings and like two enoki mushrooms on it. Our smoothies were really good (red velvet and shine on) - but for $31 our very simple vegan food should include food and not be burnt. :( I love the idea of this place - local food, local suppliers, made with love and sustainability - but I think we ordered the wrong things.

Yelp
Combi is a beautiful, open-space café. The furniture and fixtures are mainly wood with a light millennium-pink theme perfect for an Instagram post. While there is outdoor seating, the openness of the café lets you feel the nice ocean breeze even when you're inside. I ordered a flat white and their blended acai, which was served in a wooden bowl. The acai definitely seemed on the pricier side, but it turned to be a very large portion that I was able to split with my friend. While most of the acai bowls I've gotten have a consistency that is more like a smoothie, this one was slightly more frozen, and chunks of the smoothie were piled on top of each other. Topped with nuts and fruit and surrounded by dried coconut, this made for a beautiful presentation. It was also nice that the acai didn't get overly runny and still had a nice consistency when I had almost finished eating it. The coffee was quite good, and I would definitely return to Combi on another trip to Byron Bay.

Yelp
The most overpriced cafe with rude staff and woeful food. Takes forever to be served. Staff walk around in a daze ignoring queuing customers and act as though we should be privileged to eat here! There food is so overpriced and we Inga are tiny and they don't even make their own granola! Straight out of a packet! Save your money and your time and eat anywhere but here!

Yelp
Food was AMAZING. We had the Açai bowl and veggie stack and were left drooling. Super aesthetic place too.

Yelp
Pretty shakes but very overpriced in my opinion and kind of chalky if you get one with protein powder. We got the strawberry one. Pros: very cute and instagrammable :)

Yelp
Really beautiful spot! The smoothies are good, along with their coffee, avocado toast, veggie toastie, and pad thai... but the best thing by far are the buckwheat pancakes with all the fruit and other fun things... a definite standout!

Yelp
Yummy food. Local, trendy, healthy. Great cute location. We went there for breakfast but they have lots of different options !

Yelp
I'm originally from Byron and currently live in NYC. I get so excited when I come home because everyone is friendly, kind and generous. I ordered $60 worth of food and drinks earlier and accidentally spilled my entire untouched matcha latte (worth around $7). When I asked if they could please make me a new one, to my shock they stated I needed to pay for it. I've never experienced this before, let alone from a friendly place like Byron. I've worked in the service industry for over 10 years and I would never ask a customer to do that. Food was also sub par but not sure if it was just the overbearing sour taste in my mouth after that experience. Do better next time guys, the customer is always right.

Yelp
First time there today. Bit hard to get a table but definitely worth the wait. Had lentil soup and tasted the zucchini pad Thai. Both were great dishes. Bulletproof coffee was interesting. Indulgent rich flavour. Overall excellent food and service, would return. Love the huge pink concrete table. Well priced for quality of food.
