The day before I was to arrive at Combo Milano, I tested positive for COVID. I quarantined immediately, and sent them an email that I won't be coming.
As if getting COVID in the middle of my vacation isn't bad enough, Valeria Serra,
the Hospitality Manager, responds that they won't be giving me ANY refund from ALL the days I planned to stay. I get if it's one day, due to the policy, but the whole trip??
IT'S COVID? Do you really want people to be honest about having COVID? If so, don't punish them when they are honest. I tested because I was exposed and I don't want to harm anyone. This is how I'm treated for being honest.
You can bet, with a policy like this, that it's a good chance you are sleeping next to someone whose been exposed and really can't afford to part with their money.
I really wanted to like COMBO, but I can't support a company that treats people like this.
