Delicious ice creams, a must visit! The service of the staff was great – polite and friendly. You get whipped cream and chocolate inside the cone for free. The pistachio flavour was amazing!

Lowkey authentic gelato shop. This was the second authentic gelato shop I tried in Rome and it did not disappoint. It was not busy at all, and I had no wait. I tried the gelato in a waffle cone, as well as a desert that consisted of 2 Biscoff cookies with a gelato flavor in the middle, then dipped in chocolate. Salted caramel and peanut and crunchy chocolate gelato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Biscoff gelato sandwich ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Similar to La Romana gelato shop, this shop also puts chocolate sauce in your cone, and then the ice cream on top and whipped cream. It had a delicious flavor. Unfortunately I was unable to snap a picture before my ice cream hit the ground due to the heat. If you plan on not eating it fast enough like me, I recommend not getting it in a cone, but rather in a bowl.

One of the best (I really mean it) Gelatos in all of Roma. We got served by one of the sweetest guys and he really helped in selecting the right flavours and OMG they make one of the most authentic Gelatos. Pistachio is a must try and we got ourselves a separate cup of that alone other than the regular 3 scoop gelato. Mango , chocolate were also out of the world and the folks there can help with the right suggestions as per your taste !!

Hidden nook however is a must visit. Visually very appealing and wonderful customer service. Best gelato in Rome! Must visit! I had the pistachio and biscotti flavors, with white chocolate at the bottom of a wafer cone with fresh cream on top -5.50 euros! 🤩

Was in Rome for 4 days and got gelato everyday (sometimes more than once a day). This was the only place we visited more than once. All the other top rated and highly recommended gelato shops had nothing on this. Every flavour was exceptional. Standouts were the pistachio and the chocolate & peanut butter.

If I had to pick a gelato place in Rome, this is the one. It's got great texture and flavor. Definitely recommend it.

Can I give it 6 stars? I was in Rome for 4 days and had Come Il Latte every day! All of their flavors were delicious, natural and creamy. With a name like "come il latte" I was expecting the creamy/milky flavor but they blew me away. The service here was 10/10 as well. One day they heard me deciding between two flavors. I mentioned to my husband that I would have to try the other tomorrow and they were gracious enough to tell me that this would be the last day for that flavor and gave me a scoop of that flavor on them. Worth a trip out of the way to go!

I would give Come Il Latte 10 stars if I could. Easily the best gelato I had during my 12 day trip all around Italy. I spent two nights in Rome so I obviously came here twice! The gelato was rich and creamy and very high quality. You won't find bright green pistachio gelato here that's for sure. They had a large selection of flavors ranging from the classics to some more innovative flavors like ricotta. They offer you cream, a biscuit, or a chocolate dipped biscuit as a topping with every order. The chocolate dipped biscuit was decadent and I loved how the chocolate solidified as it flowed over the cold gelato. It was outstanding. The staff was also incredibly kind to us. It's a small shop so during busy times, be prepared to wait outside on the street. But I assure it's worth it!!

This is a must on your gelato tour of Rome, and is certainly among the best in Rome. The gelato is silky smooth, and super creamy. The flavors are rich and easy to savor. We went back multiple days in a row to try a multitude. Their cioccolate fondente (dark chocolate) is far and away my favorite. The others, like salted caramel, strattiacella, ricotta and pear, and simple vanilla are also exceptional. Give them a try!!

Really yummy. I had the Giandua hazelnut flavor. My husband had the Arancini peanut butter flavor and the café coffee flavor. The coffee flavor was very prominent like espresso. This was the first gelato place. We tried in Italy that offered you to put some chocolate sauce on top if you wanted it, they didn't charge for this

Place was packed with locals despite being on the pricier side for gelato. The gelato is so light and refreshing. Totally worth it! The dark chocolate and pistachio flavors were both so good. Say yes when they offer their whipped cream, it was one of the best I've had!!

Some of the best gelato that I had while in Italy. It's a cute unassuming shop away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. They spoke English so that was helpful to figure out what we wanted. Pistachio and salted caramel were both so delicious. Although it's messier in a cone it always tastes better this way!

Eating gelato each and every single night that my mother and I were in Rome, Come Il Latte may have been my number one favorite spot. A small, unassuming little storefront that contained the smoothest, richest gelato I had the opportunity of trying. The service was friendly and engaging, and the flavors of gelato were unique. I ordered a two scoop on a cone of salted caramel and the darkest chocolate they had. It was rich and decadent and everything. I hoped it would be. My mom ordered a refreshing raspberry and a tart lemon. Avoid the tourist traps and come to Come Il Latte.

This is truly the best gelato I've ever had! It's packed with so much flavour and the finish is so smooth!! They're open until 12 AM and the line for it is always long! But it's totally worth the wait. The service is super friendly and accommodating. It's small shop but beautifully designed. A lot of locals come here so you know it's goooood!

Ok, I just licked the last of my pistachio gelato and came straight here to write a review. Hands down the best pistachio gelato in town, and also compared to the Venchis and Groms in Florence and Rome as well! I was split between the hazelnut and the pistachio and the lady told me that their pistachio is the best. I don't deny it now. Go get one! I'll have to go back again tomorrow.

This place is wonderful. My daughter has a tree nuts allergy and it has been difficult for her to get desserts in Italy due to cross contamination. The worker (maybe owner of the place) made sure to get a fresh sorbet from a new container to ensure the food is safe to eat. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the business.

When I think back on the gelato I had in Italy, I think about Come il Latte. Perhaps recency bias, as it was the last one that I had but I believe it's just that good. The shop is cool and modern. The staff is super helpful and proud of their gelato. I had pistachio and chocolate and the flavors were wonderful. Truly a decadent gelato. They pass the test of having small batches in stainless steel covered containers. More importantly, it tastes amazing!

Deserves 6 stars. Exceptional quality gelato and about regular prices. Ingredients are completely real, fresh, and abundant. The flavors really come through in a way that stands out from other places. Service was fine. Ambiance was fine. going out of your way to come here is worth jt. i have never had better gelato anywhere and i doubt gelato can get better than this. the only improvement would be to make the gelato a bit colder. The texture was a bit too soft on our visit.

There are a variety of tours to take while on holiday. Some are location related, some are good related, and some should be gelato related. Diners tip: you will find plenty of gelato places throughout Italy. The key is to only go to the artisanal gelato places. Trust me, there is a difference. I highly encourage you to create your own gelato tour in and around any region that you were spending time in. You will be amazed at the flavors, the quality, and the artistry behind really good gelato. We stopped here late at night, because what is a day without gelato?! The customer service is absolutely phenomenal. We were graciously greeted, and made to feel welcomed. Interestingly, enough, you pay for your order prior to making any selections. I've noticed that this seems to be a fairly common theme with the gelato stores. I'm not certain why, but it's where I've seen consistency in business operations. Anyway, you pay for the size that you're interested in and then Select your flavors. I've noticed that most gelato shops, and this one is no exception, have their own specialty flavors, but also offer some interesting seasonal flavors. The shop was particularly generous in allowing us to taste some of the flavors prior to our selections. Call mom and they were happy to make flavor pairing suggestions. It could be, because I had an exceptionally large dinner, which my motto is have no regrets, but I found the portions to be extremely generous, and in truth fashion, I wasn't able to finish my gelato. And the flavor profiles are consistently delicious bite after bite, and the quality ingredients Are obvious in every bite This is truly a hidden gem because we ended up taking transportation and walking to find this off the beaten path store. Was it worth it?! Absolutely! Enjoy life and have gelato!

The best gelato I've ever had and ever will have!!! Immediately upon entering, I knew it was gonna be good. The staff were all so kind and welcoming and explained to us how they use the finest ingredients to make all their gelato right here in the shop! I got dark chocolate and cookies and cream in a cone! They drizzle chocolate in the bottom of the cone and add homemade whipped cream on top. The chocolate in the cone is a must, once you get to the bottom of your cone you have delicious chocolate waiting to be enjoyed! You can see them making the cones in front of you and are so fresh. After I finished my cone, I decided it wasn't enough and went back in for another. This time I got pistachio and peanut butter. My top two favorite flavors overall were the dark chocolate and the peanut butter but you seriously can't go wrong, they are all DELICIOUS! My friends and I decided we are coming every week.

This place is hands down the best Gelato I've ever had. The interior is so cool too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Rome.

The best authentic gelato in Rome. Sublimely and superbly delicious! I had a ricotta and white raspberry with nuts - and pistachio - in a chocolate drizzled waffle cone. Hubby had chocolate orange and pistachio in a waffle cup that was drizzled with white chocolate. OMG - more please!! ‍

Texture is great, pistachio was the best we had on Rome and we ordered it everywhere! Small benches outside to sit on, quiet street.

This is our first gelato in Rome so we don't have a lot to compare it with but the pistachio and the nocciola were great; the lemon was very good. And the prices (3 euros for a small cone, 4 for a large cone) are not extravagant.

The thing about this place is that the gelato is not on display, but the folks behind the counter the day I visited were sooo nice and patient that they helped me choose one. Oh and you can have melted chocolate in the waffle cone--say whaaat?! Basically you get the gelato of your dreams here.

Awesome gelato spot! I tried a cone with fior di latte and hazelnut (the latter was my favorite). A fresh chocolate-dipped wafer is also included! Waffle cone was perfect, too.

Best gelato in Italy I said what I said. Homemade waffle cones, fresh dark or white chocolate drizzle to fill your cone with, and whipped cream to top it all off. Ricotta and salted caramel were the highlights for us. Absolutely 1000% recommend when you're in Rome.

Oh my GOD!! The BEST gelato on our trip so far. The honey almond ricotta was so amazing and the rose guava was refreshing. They also drizzle white or normal chocolate on top (free of charge). Wait staff was super patient and translated the menu to english for us. A cute store with some benches outside.

The best gelato ever. No comparison. Used to be a weekly ritual coming here after work lunches. I had the mascarpone with gentilini (small Roman cookies) and nocciola (hazelnut). I have had every flavor variation here and they have all been great. Highly quality gelato.

Probably the best Gelato I've ever had. My favorite flavors here are chocolate, pistachio, and Salted Caramel. Whenever I was near by, I made sure to make a stop over and get my gelato fix.

I had a late-night craving for gelato so walked over to this spot from my hotel. They were so friendly and warm. They walked me through their flavors and options and gave me a wonderful cone that was perfect in flavor and taste. Quality ice cream for sure and great customer service. Price was fair as well. Who knew this is actually one of the most highly regarded spots in Rome? I'll be back and I recommend it!

Come Il Latte blew my mind! I'm from the US and I honestly didn't think gelato could be any better than what I had already tried in the states. This place proved me wrong and made me a believer that gelato is better in Rome! (Actually, my first experience with gelato in Rome was at a place in the Piazza Navona and it was less than stellar so just be warned that not all Roman gelaterias are created equal.) I went here almost every day while I was in Rome. Every flavor that I tried was amazing. My absolute favorite was the pistachio. It's not even green and tastes nothing like I've tried in the US. It tasted like an actual pistachio!! They also ask you if you want whipped cream. Make sure you say yes. And a complimentary waffle chip that you can have dipped in chocolate garnishes the top. Every component of a cup gelato from Come Il Latte is a flavor explosion that I have not found replicated anywhere else.

This is on my podium of gelato shops in Rome, and probably in the whole world. I ordered 2 flavors: peanut butter and cookie dough. These were recommended by the server, and were so amazing I had to go back the next day to make sure I wasn't making it up. They offer white and milk chocolate as fillers inside the cone as well as drizzled ontop with the option of whipped cream. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

This was by far the best gelataria I went to Italy. I ordered the Affogato con gelato it wasss so good! (Paired it with vanilla gelato) and I also ordered the brownie con gelato it was delish! it was so good and 1 order was not enough for me! the guy who was working at the place was so friendly (sadly i didnt get his name) he let us tried his own twist of asian-fusion mango gelato! I can never eat gelato again anywhere else. This spoiled everywhere else. It's life changing, a revelation. So creamy, so rich, yet so light. Place is so friendly. They give a free chocolate dipped waffle in the cup. HIGHLY recommend either pistachio or hazelnut with chocolate and mix, or milk cream with a fruit flavor and mix. JUST GO AND THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND!!!!

Delicious gelato from a place that feels off the beaten path and away from the crowds. They have house made waffle cones and bowls. You can choose dark or white chocolate to line your cone, 2 or 3 scoops (depending on size), fresh cream, chocolate drizzle and another waffle biscuit on top! You could have it in a sandwich, in a waffle with butter or yogurt. Lots of options! Decadent and sweet! It was a great way to eat after walking off the day's food while heading back to our hotel lol. Not too far from Roma Termini. We had gone to another place with a similar idea, but their gelato was too soft and melted quickly. The lines were long at that other place and the woman who helped me was not nice. I'd come back here again instead!

Our second gelato place and just as amazing in it's own way! It's more of a denser gelato and full of flavor. I got pistachio and hazelnut again since I wanted to see if it all tasted the same. It's different! I definitely like the pistachio here! The housemade cone with dark or white chocolate made it even more decadent but I had to! I must say it has it's own creamy delicious flavor. It's a cute classy shop and the people helping us work hard, are respectful and know their stuff! Enjoy!

Come Il late is one of the best dessert places in all of Rome. It is known for pistachio and cookies and cream, but they have all manner of gelato and ice cream. Don't leave without trying the warm brownie or waffle. Positively delicious.

End of a tiring hot summer day, temperature has cooled down.....yelp to the rescue to find some of the best gelato within walking distance of our apartment. There are so many tourist gelato traps that you do need Yelp guidance to find the real deal. Real gelato is an art to make sure no crystals form during the process and the gelato is as smooth in texture as possible. We didn't really see Come Il Latte in it's best light. They had no waffle cones available. The dark chocolate fountain wasn't working. And the gelato was pretty melty, at least compared to the other photos on here. It didn't matter. Plain cone with white chocolate drizzled inside first to jazz it up. Then a scoop of hazelnut and a scoop of pistachio, topped with whipped cream, and waffle wafer half dipped in white chocolate. SOLD! The key was to sit on their bench outside and eat it quick before it dripped all over the ground. Truth is, I sacrificed a few drips of ice cream while I quickly took a photo. The things I do for Yelp. Yes the pistachio is as amazing as everyone says, make sure that's one of your flavors to try. The white chocolate was high quality, so I'm sure the dark is great as well. The memory of speeding through that cone of bliss, trying to protect every last drop before it ran down my hand and dripped on the floor, sitting on their bench at dusk with my family doing the same....well isn't that the reason to go to Rome?

Came here because my wife did some research on where to get the best gelato and this place didn't disappoint. Hazelnut and pistachio were my favorite. Definitly worth checking out or even going a little bit further to check it out.

As soon as we got off the plane in Rome, we had a couple of hours before we had to get on our night train to Venice. Hubs wanted gelato, of course, so we came here. I got cookies and cream and pistachio, and the hubs got hazelnut and coffee. They both came with a wafer and chocolate drizzle (white chocolate for me, dark chocolate for him...although he asked for both initially ). The gelato was super flavorful, super creamy, and the staff were really nice. I can definitely see why this place is rated 5 stars on Yelp!

Gelato was phenomenal. It was so good that I went back for seconds. However, the woman running the cash register spoke to me rudely in the process of ordering. Im in a new country and figuring everything out. It would've been a better experience if she had been more patient when I was figuring out the process of ordering.

This is the best gelato in all of Italy. My husband and I spent two weeks in Italy and went to Rome, Viterbo, Siena, Florence, Daone, Verona, and Venice, and no gelato we had comes close to Come Il Latte. The cones are house made and you get to pick between either the dark chocolate or white chocolate fountain to fill your cone. Then you can choose 1 or two flavors (I did cookies and cream and hazelnut, husband stuck with limone). All the flavors were divine. You can choose to add whipped cream on top, and they add a waffle chip to the top along with more dark or white chocolate. This place is way out of the way of all the tourists sites and we only happened upon it because it was around the corner from our hotel. No matter where you are in Rome, you MUST find a way to get to Come Il Latte. We will recommend this shop to everyone we know who will be visiting the beautiful city of Roma!

The staff, the shop, the flavors, the presentation were all amazing. The gelato was super delicious and they use natural ingredients with grass fed milk for their creme gelatos. I had guanabana and salted caramel, they were both super delicious. It was very nice to see guanabana in Rome because it is not common. They also make fresh waffle cones! The owner is very sweet and chatted with us as well as the employees. The employee that helped us took his time to explain the menu and the flavors to us and allowed us to try many flavors. They also have great prices for the quality and portion. I bought three fresh waffle cones with two scoops each for 13€. I definitely recommend this place!
