Dishonest Pricing – Took Advantage of Me as a Foreigner
I asked for four scrambled eggs with chorizo, and they charged me 160 pesos, claiming that their “huevos al gusto” (orig 80p) only includes two eggs and that adding two more meant doubling the price.
But let’s be real—two extra eggs do not cost 80 pesos more. They took advantage of the fact that I’m a foreigner and don’t speak fluent Spanish. Nothing was communicated up front, and the price made no sense. It felt sneaky and exploitative.
I wouldn’t come back here again. I came with openness and respect, and left feeling cheated. If you eat here, ask detailed questions and confirm everything beforehand.
