Comfort Hotel Panorama, Göteborg

The service at the barception was exceptional, they assisted with every query I had. Amazing breakfast with a beautiful view of the area. My room was spacious and had a beautiful view of Göteborg. The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. My room was not cleaned prior to me checking in and it wasn’t cleaned on the fourth day like it was supposed to

Breakfast: buffet style, good. Wish there were more kinds of fruit available.Room: size is ok for 1 person, the bed is quite big. Hair dryer, hangers provided. No kettles can be borrowed and you can only get hot water at the front desk. Staff: i arrived a bit early but the staff let me check in early. nice and helpful Others: there’s a gym, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi too. Close to a bus stop.

I would not recommend staying here now while they are renovating. Every morning around 07/7.30 you could hear them working. There was a soft banging noise, not too intrusive, but the last morning it was so noisy that we couldn't stay in the room. This lead to us eating breakfast and checking out earlier than planned.||Another annoying thing was the elevators. Only one was operational while we stayed there and that led to a lot of waiting time. It did not help that the cleaning crew used this elevator as well. Staying on the 12th floor, using the stairs was not an option.||They don't clean the room during your stay, but you can ask for additional towels if needed.||The crew was nice and helpful. I got to charge my electric bike in the luggage room.||The breakfast buffet was okay. Nothing more or less than needed. The quality was okay. If food is important to you, I would not recommend this place.||We chose this hotel because there was a price reduction through Stawberry.|I'm happy we did not pay the full price, because this place is not worth it.

There is a large construction going on at the moment. The workers start at 7 in the morning and there is no sleep from then on. The bed was not perfect but was ok for one night. Breakfast was nice. I would not recommend staying there before the construction is finished. The connection to the airport is ok. It’s a 15 minute walk to and from the airport bus. However, it’s quite a bit of an uphill walk from the bus to the hotel.

Stayed here for a weekend. Rooms felt kinda claustrophobic but showers were nice. Only seemed to have double beds. Main issue was the fact that they only had 2 elevators for 14 floors. The staircase was spiraling and had no lighting and felt kinda dangerous using. Clearly only meant as an emergency exit but didnt even seem to have emergency lights. So it didn't feel like an option With elevators and especially in the morning it was chaos. You could spend 10 - 20 minutes before you actually got one that wasn't filled with people also stressing. And no clue how things were prioritized. As mentioned most of the time the elevator got to your floor it was already filled to the brim with people so you had to wait more. Where also others pressing the button got prioritized because it counted your floor "done". It caused immense stress for my entire group and we spent at least a total of 30 - 40 minutes the entire weekend just trying to get an elevator to work Considering there is 14 floors I get it might work on evenings but it feels insane to put that load on only two of them.

My stay at Comfort Hotel Panorama was exceptional! The service was top-notch, and the food exceeded my expectations. The hotel gym was impressive, offering great facilities for a workout. However, what truly stood out was the amazing staff; their hospitality was unparalleled. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Göteborg!

Nice budget hotel. Friendly staff. Great location. 15 minute walk to Chalmers. 10 minute taxi to city center.
