I was kindly given an upgrade and received a larger room — thank you very much for that. My room was spacious and very clean. That said, I do agree with some of the other comments: please consider renovating the bathrooms and replacing the mattresses. Apart from that, it’s truly a good hotel with very friendly staff, a decent gym area, and an excellent location. The breakfast is wonderful — please keep it that way. The setup is beautiful, very clean, and offers a great variety. I will definitely return — but in the summer.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent and totally exceeded our expectations! The place is super clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience much nicer. The entire team's service was impeccable! The staff was always attentive and ready to help. The location is great, making it super easy to get around and reach all the interesting spots. Plus, the breakfast is really good, with plenty of variety and quality—a perfect way to start the day. The only tiny thing, which is just a suggestion, is that maybe adding a small table in the room would be useful. But honestly, that's a minor detail and it didn't affect our highly positive experience at all. We definitely recommend it!

The positive was that room was spacious and quiet and the hotel is in a convenient location for visiting Copenhagen and can walk to the city centre and the train station. This is where the positives stop. The service is nonexistent. You do self check in, they clean every 4 days, no wonder the bathroom was full of limescale and rust! I have stayed in other hotels where they would not change the bed sheets everyday, but at least they were doing a quick room and bathroom tidy, so you would always come back to a clean room. If you need extra pillows or towels you have to go down to reception and pick them up yourself, they do not bring it to your room. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, you have to pay for them downstairs in the lobby. If you want tea for free you have to register and download an app. Such a faff! And lastly, it was my husband’s birthday so I asked if they could bring a bottle of champagne in the room as a surprise and they said it is not a service they provide. Disappointed as the price was not low. Not good value for money!

The hotel is very close to the train station, and right next to it, there is a huge Little market. Furthermore, directly across the street, there is a pharmacy nearby and a store with a normal/common name. The staff at the reception were consistently smiling and helpful people. I had booked a smaller room, but since there was a heating problem there, they upgraded me, and I ended up staying in a room where I was very happy for two nights. I really liked the hanger detail, as they set up a system (like bamboo) where the hangers don't clack against each other. Using a card to enter the hotel room corridor is very secure. The fact that the doors have an extra secondary lock (in addition to the main lock) on the back is also great. I didn't have breakfast, but I saw it, and it had a wide variety of options. If you become a Strawberry member, you can have free coffee or tea every day, which is a nice gesture. The weather was cold and unfortunately, the tiny radiator was not heating the room sufficiently. Honestly, I felt cold, so I dressed warmly and slept with two layers of blankets/duvets. I believe that the air conditioning units should not be running in the rooms in this cold weather; instead, the radiators should be on. When you enter the room, be sure to turn off the air conditioner that blows cold air and press the other switch/button that operates the radiator. Thank you dear Comfort hotel family.

A basic hotel. Very clean. Good price, great location. Very friendly staff. Comfy bed. No room cleaning if you're only there for 3 nights, which was fine. I can't rate service higher, only because we didn't experience it! Happily stay there again.

The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is overloaded almost any time during the morning hours and the selection is not really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is very good next to the train station (no noise) you have a vibrant area and good connections to anywhere in the city or country.

This hotel is in a very central area. It is 5 minutes from Central Station and 7 minutes from Tivoli Gardens which was our main reason for visiting.|We booked 2 x rooms for myself and husband and for my sister.|Our rooms were basic but clean and big enough for 2 of us.|The breakfast was a buffet and had plenty of choice including hot and cold food, tea, coffee and juice.|It is next door to a Lidl so perfect for snacks and drinks. |If you become a member of Strawberry Hotels, they do 2 for 1 breakfasts on a Monday, also free black coffee and tea and discounted food & drink. The hotel was quiet considering it is on a main road.|It's about a 10 minute walk to the main Square and 25 minutes to Nyhaven. Its in a perfect location for everything and I am not sure you would find anythibg as reasonably priced anywhere else as central as this hotel.|If I return to Copenhagen, I would stay here again

I recently stayed at this hotel in Copenhagen (Oct 2025) and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the room was spacious and the location was excellent — just a short walk from the central station, which made getting around the city very convenient. However, I would caution anyone planning a longer stay here. The hotel only provides room cleaning once every four nights, as noted on a small information card in the room (attached). I was sharing the room with a female friend, and as anyone with long hair knows, four days is a long time to go without cleaning for two females in a shared space. I found myself regularly picking hair off the bathroom floor with toilet paper, which was far from pleasant. Without cleaning service, used towels piled up, and by the end of the day, instead of returning to a comfortable space to relax, we were coming back to a messy and uninviting room. It genuinely affected the quality of our stay, and I even started dreading coming back to the hotel after a day out. I spoke to reception and asked if they could arrange a cleaning, explaining that while skipping one or two days is understandable, four days is excessive — especially with no cleaning tools provided in the room (unlike in an Airbnb, where at least you can tidy up yourself). Unfortunately, they stuck firmly to their policy and told me that cleaning frequency was stated on their website. We booked via Booking.com and were not aware of this detail, as we never visited their site directly. I left my email with reception hoping to share feedback with the hotel management, but I never received a follow-up. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, but the lack of flexibility and inadequate cleaning policy really took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable stay. Would recommend only for short stays or for those who don’t mind minimal housekeeping.
