Fantastic location for a great price! We arrived at 9am after a 24 hour flight, and the staff were really helpful in getting us booked in early. This was a great introduction to Norway and much appreciated. Great rooms with comfortable beds. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Very close to the Opera house and Munch Museum.

The Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station is a good, basic, centrally located hotel. It is a very short walk to the train station (and the tram and bus lines intersecting there) and an easy walk into central Oslo or the area around the Opera House. Everything is geared to be efficient and low-touch so there is a good chance you'll never interact with a hotel employee. ||The accommodations are simple, but clean and comfortable. The rooms don't have ironing boards, but there is an "ironing room" that guests can use. ||Just make sure you know which "Comfort Hotel" you are staying in. We initially dropped our bags at the similarly named "Comfort Hotel Grand Central" which is around the block from the "Comfort Hotel Express Central Station". Fortunately the people at the reception desk there were very nice and laughed about the mix up. There are also two other Comfort Hotels within two blocks of the "Express" so double check the name before you walk into the lobby.

The hotel is perfectly located nearly opposite the central train station which the Flytoget train from airport brings you to. I knew the hotel would be basic but it really did exceed my expectations. The room was perfectly clean and had all you needed. There are snacks and drinks available at the bar but you are so close to all sights and restaurants that finding everything you want or need is easy. Trams and buses run frequently from just up the road and you are a five minute walk from the fjord and opera house, Munch museum etc. For me the staff made it, they were all so helpful, friendly and professional. Huge thanks to you all!

We have an amazing stay at Comfort Xpress Hotel Oslo! Even before we arrived, the team went above and beyond by providing us with excellent local tips and recommendations. The welcome at the hotel was warm and personal — we immediately felt at home.||A special shout-out to Nurin and Ishan for their outstanding service and kindness. They truly made our stay extra special. The vibe here is relaxed, modern, and everything you need for a great time in Oslo. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel staff were excellent — very friendly and helpful. The only positive about the room was its spaciousness and the large, practical bathroom. However, for £500 for two nights (which is more than I paid for a four-star stay in Dubai), the room lacked basic amenities and didn’t include breakfast. Soundproofing was poor — I could hear the lift going up and down all night, along with constant “door opening” and “door closing” announcements.

Simple, clean hotel located in a very good location. Quick walk to train station, the Opera house, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.|Self check-in (which I liked it), but there's staffs around to help, and they are nice and helpful. No kettle and fridge in room but you can use it at the bar. Luggage storage also available. Comfy bed. All in all it's a budget hotel option with no bells and whistles yet provide a pleasant, comfortable stay.

We spent two nights at the hotel, and it was perfectly located for a city trip. The room was a bit sparse but functional and very clean. The staff were all very friendly, especially the room service. However, after the second night, we had to get up very early in the morning, and from 11:00 p.m. onward, the rooms around us were being cleaned, including vacuuming, which made it impossible for us to sleep. Despite repeated requests, the cleaning took at least half an hour. We've stayed in many hotels, but never experienced room cleaning at this time of night. It's an absolute no-go for us. In addition, the check-in time was changed from 3pm to 4pm after we had booked the hotel. We had a lot of luggage when we arrived and got surprised by the changes which was quite inconvenient for us as we had a fixed appointment at 4. Luckily, the room was ready at 3.30 and we made it to the appointment. However, this was a stressful experience.

We really enjoyed staying at the Comfort Xpress Hotel Central Station. You can literally see the Oslo Central train station from the hotel which is a extremely short walk. Phil and Kingsley we're extremely helpful with the check-in process and allowing us to store our luggage at the hotel so we could walk around in advance of check-in time. The hotel sells drinks and snacks for your convenience… Beer, soda, chips, sandwiches, noodles, yogurt, nuts, candy and more. There's also a couple of restaurants within a minute's walk. There is a huge pedestrian corridor very close to the hotel where you can walk and see all kinds of beautiful mail Architect and shops and restaurants and souvenir stands. We had a lovely view from our room and the beds were comfortable and the water is so clean in Norway that you can drink it from the tap and save money on bottled water! We would definitely recommend this hotel when you are in Oslo! Thank you to all staff that made it such a pleasant experience!
