Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget

Very practical hotel near to the center (less than 10 minutes walk from the central station) with very kind service. No breakfast but you can get sandwiches and snacks from the reception. My room was practical too but had no locker nor any furniture to empty my bag.

I highly recommend this hotel. The check-in was fabulous. The staff they’re outstanding. It isn’t a really great location. The room is great. It’s very comfortable. Very airy all of the activities you want to see are within a walking distance of this hotel.

I stayed here for 7 days with my friend and we loved it. The hotel is in a very convenient location and staff were lovely. The facilities (gym, lounge, 'barception' sitting area) were well designed, easy to access and never too busy which was nice. There was always someone at the desk when we entered or left and every staff member we interacted with or heard others speaking to was friendly and helpful. Our room was located above a nearby music hall so we could hear loud music some evenings but this didn't prevent us from sleeping. The street below us was also quite quiet so we had very little noise disturbance apart from the music hall.

The bed was too soft. The thin top mattress was not attached and got out of place.|The pillow was tiny, almost the size of a pillow cushion.|The room is cleaned only every fourth day of your stay. Fresh towels and cleaning before the fourth day were available for an extra fee.|There were no closets or drawers, so we had to put everything on the floor. There were only three hangers available.|The bathroom door made a squeaky noise.|Water pressure was good. |Be aware that you need to put your room key in the lock when you leave the room for it to lock.|The hotel is on a higher street. Location is central. Ten minutes walk from central station.

The hotel is in a good central location and has nice quality bedding. The room is basic but it does what it says on the tin. The rating would be higher if a safe had been provided as I would have liked to make sure my important items were properly protected.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Central station, Opera House, museums, restaurants, shopping, Nobel Center, and the waterfront. It was clean and quiet, although there is some construction going on in the vicinity, which was noisy one of the days. Otherwise it was quiet. The biggest problem I had was with the size of the bed - it was very small, a child-size bed. You literally have to lie there like a tin soldier in a box. I have no idea how a full grown man would manage! The mattress was thin and kept sliding off the bed, which was annoying because I had to rearrange it at points during the night. There were no basic amenities, such as glasses for water, tea and/or coffee in the room, or extra towels. We were told that we had to pay extra for more towels. The staff at the front desk was friendly, and I appreciated that.

It's OK, rooms are simple and functional, no frills, was concerned that a trolley of laundry was left in the corridor overnight, plus another empty trolley at the other end of the corridor. Nice roof terrace on floor 9

We liked the location. We didn‘t like the poorly made bed (you had to pay attention that you don‘t touch the matress because the sheets were small) and the style of the hotel is self-service; self check-in, self check-out, etc. Also our toilette wasn‘t clean.
