Front desk service was great and the room is clean, but that is where it ends. The TV is the size of a monitor and cupboards don’t close and hasn’t been upgraded for over 10-15 years. A bit picky but they want a review. Had dinner in their restaurant which was a very bad experience. Ordered glass of wine, garlic bread and nachos. Had to go and ask for my wine with only one other person in restaurant. Out came the garlic bread, and the butter was still solid and cold. Sent back and it came back just melted. Nachos came out next, about a tablespoon of sauce and dry as a nuns… added chicken which was from a processed packet, not a fresh cooked piece of chicken. Seriously, how hard is it to cook the most basic meal. Very disappointed with the restaurant and will never eat there again. Get a chef not a cook (if you can even call them that??) that is why your restaurant was empty and I’m sure you are not making profit in that area. Again at this stage, the front desk service has been great so very happy with that service, but I will not be sending any of my team/ staff to this hotel in the future.

Sadly I am not able to give a positive review. The location was very convenient and great access to the CBD. Unfortunately that was the only positive I had from my stay. I did not mind that the building and rooms were outdated. The room just needed to be clean and functional. While it appeared as though staff had attended to the room before my arrival, the room was not throughly cleaned. This included the the microwave and shower where there was hair from the previous visitor. It appears that pest control had not been done regularly. My room had cockroaches within it which was very disappointing. Due to the lack of cleanliness and insects I had to cancel my booking and find alternative accommodation.

Pros: Great housekeeping service. Good location with parking available with secured access Nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, walking distance to CBD. Cons: The lightings in the room are too dimmed and dark. We can’t see things clearly when the curtain have to be drawn. No bidet in the toilet TV channels are so boring The tv controller has it’s own mind. Volume and channel just doesn’t cooperate

Not great... the best thing was checking out. Rooms were dirty, stains on linen (not actually sure the linen was clean), used toilet paper left on bathroom floor with a dust pile, so was not just from previous guest. Had multiple rooms, all were just as bad as each other. If you have mobility needs, or are a larger person, before booking, take into consideration that the bathroom is not accessible. As an example, you have to almost step into the shower to be able to close the bathroom door to be able to access the toilet or sink and even then it is tight and awkward. Checked out early due to state of rooms.

The Goodearth is centrally located in the Perth CBD, close to most services & amenities. The rates are very affordable, even for multiple night stays. With added parking onsite. We'll certainly be booking again! Having said this, the balcony door security/maintenance needs reviewing in line with my other comments i.e. balcony door frames/latches not secure. Thanks.

Very clean and well equipped, the housekeeping and reception staff were friendly and approachable. Parking on site and free wifi. I stayed when there was a fire alarm activated and the whole hotel was evacuated swiftly and safely. I would recommend this place to family and friends

The location was superb, it was not far from the city main centre and accessible with the free CAT bus with a short walk. The staff were very kind and friendly. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were a bonus.

Stayed here recently and I was shocked !!! Never again. So disappointed in my stay. The guy at reception overcharged me for water. The bed was two single beds pushed together, one mattress was sunken in and the other one was higher and hard. Dont even get me started on the food!!!! I paid 100$ for a nice meal in the restaurant downstairs. The soup of the day was out of a can heated in the microwave. The veges were hard and unseasoned. They ran out of sauce for the salmon, and to top it off they didn’t know how to make a fire engine drink that I had ordered .

Yelp
Perth seems to suffer from the same affliction of any mining town - a massive shortage of accommodation and high demand leading to sky high prices. The Goodearth is a good example of how this plays out - $250+ a night for a comfortable but unremarkable room in an aging hotel. There was nothing particularly wrong with the place it was just an older hotel charging high prices because it can. However, the wi-fi prices in the room were ridiculous. This is an area of constant price gouging in Australian hotels. Free wifi is a basic human right! Especially considering the room price. There is gold to be made in mining...if you own a hotel.

Yelp
Stayed for a week while my home was renovated. Had a pretty good experience. No dramas. All good
