Comfort Inn Glenelg

I have just spent 7 weeks at this motel after a house fire. The staff at this location go above & beyond to make your stay amazing! Big shout out to all the staff, especially Toni, Sandy, Jill & the other girls from housekeeping team.. you girls rock !! Sophia & Brett from reception also, u guys made my stay very comfortable & assured I always felt safe. All staff are a credit to this chain !! The rooms are updated & very clean with daily servicing, Great location is a bonus . I highly recommend these guys, worth the visit 👌

Sad to say but the Glenelg Comfort Motor Inn has dropped its standards since our last stay. |Each room now has a new keypad entry pad which is difficult and clunky. |They send a 7 digit code to your phone, if it was three we might have a chance of remembering them, but to have to get my phone out, put reading glasses on, find the message and push in the 7 digits is way too onerous, especially when everywhere else is now the super simple tap card method. ||Also the code is only sent to one phone so it’s up to us to send it to our partner if they leave the room… even to duck to the car to grab something is a whole process. Ridiculous. ||The installation of these pads has left un-repaired damage behind the doors which looks terrible. |In our room there was peeling gaffer tape on the sides of the window above the door and on the bathroom door handle. |Maintenance has slipped a lot since our last visit and staying here is no longer value for money like it used to be and we won’t be returning. ||Finally we had tea making facilities, but no teaspoons so that was pointless. And a feedback form, but no pen.

Excellent location, bus stop right out the front of hotel to get to the CBD. Only 1 kilometre walk to Glenelg Beach. Only a drive away to supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants. The hotel was awesome with a pool. Rooms were clean, family room was generous in size. Free parking at the hotel, right out side room was a bonus. Service was fantastic. Friendly, clean, tidy. Will stay again. Very happy.

Old property BUT they have been updated and my room was very clean, lots of space and good amenities. Great location and the staff are a credit to the company, very friendly, helpful and have good knowledge of the area. Would highly recommended this place for "Base Camp" during your travels

Stay was OK. Great location and rooms were quite considering they were on a busy road. Not sure what expectations are here....but I stayed for a week and not at any point in the week were my sheets changed. Room was serviced everyday though. Bed was SUPER comfy. In general the rooms need a good clean and makeover though. I'd stay here again but i'd keep my expectations in check.

Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Lovely hot shower and friendly service.

Would highly recommend this motel a great place to stay close to Glenelg, Beaches and restaurants rooms very clean staff are very friendly and helpful will be staying again

Not a good experience. Toilet bowl not mounted to the floor properly, toilet roll holder was broken, spiders under curtains. Shower curtain was brown at the bottom. Would not stay here again.
