Comfort Inn Glenelg

Hot water in the shower didn't work and water pressure was really low , also the address online and what's printed is totally different to what's on google maps other than that I would like to thank you for a good night's rest it was very clean and very comfortable.... thank you

You can't complain when you're practically in the heart of Glenelg. Rooms were clean, and the book-in process was so easy. One thing I did love about the stay was that we did not have to checkout at the reception (there's no key for the room). Keypads are on the doors of the rooms. Just be sure to checkout at 10:00 am.

The rooms were not cleaned for the four days I spent there. I found this quite surprising because the bedsheets weren’t pulled up. The towels were not changed and it was kind of grotty. My bed was so soft and so high that I could barely get into it on my last day. I tried to get out of the bed and fell over and hit my back on the bedside table not a good experience. I would not recommend this hotel could hear everything going on in other rooms and in the gazebo outside.

If all you need is a basic room without paying for facilities you don't need, here is a nice place to stay. Staff are very friendly too. Plus it's close to Glenelg, tram line and major highways.

After reading the reviews we must have stayed in a different location - Chairs felt like you were sitting on rocks, The bathroom smelt 2 o/o the days we were there, no crockery in the room (you had to go to the laundry - note in laundry says it is open 9am to 9pm - same as the toaster and microwave. BTW there was no note in the room to that effect I had to call and find out). Pillows - guess we should have taken our own. On the positive there was parking off the highway.

From the road, this looks like a normal motel, but once inside the room I was most impressed with the layout, the cleanliness, the space and the furnishings. The bed was massive. The TV was massive. The room was airy and had plenty of space for luggage and there was plenty of seating and the bathroom came with plenty of towels and washing products the motel also has a covered pool and barbecue area and the checking in process was easy and straightforward. It’s very close to Glenelg and all the shops and restaurants and given the chance I would certainly stay here again.

Not happy, room not cleaned and although listed as mini kitchen no crockery or cutlery. Mop bucket left in walkway, also linen bag, making walking to room very unsafe. Booked 3 nights, but only stayed 2 due to conditions. Not likely to return or recommend.
