Comfort Inn

I had a wonderful experience during check-in thanks to the exceptional service provided by the Front Desk staff( Alex & Niama). From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and handled with genuine hospitality. The staff member who assisted me was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. They took the time to explain all the amenities, answer my questions, and ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It really set a positive tone for the rest of my visit. Big thanks to the team for making the first impression such a great one your excellent service did not go unnoticed. Hats off to you guys.

We stayed for an overnight recently and it was basic, but clean and comfortable, although we had to settle for a queen size bed. It's dog friendly which was appreciated and was quite busy but we got a good night's sleep after 10:30pm. Breakfast was basic but included some hot options - again busy, but we took our food back to our room. There are also lots of eating places in the vicinity - we liked a pub we found nearby. Overall, works for an overnight while in transit.

We stayed for a family wedding this passed weekend. While the bed was extremely comfy the rooms need the carpets replaced. Our room smelled like dirty smelly socks. The staff was very accommodating and professional. The breakfast was decent it’s just the old carpets and couches. Some much needed updates would definitely improve the experience

The room was perfectly clean and no issues but had very obviously been smoked in. The smell had soaked into the upholstery and carpeting. This was not an issue that affected my stay greatly. I mentioned it to the staff at checkout and was told this was a non-smoking room and that the smoke must have come from outside somewhere. This was clearly not the case. I was informed that this was okay. Okay!

Really shady people out in front of my hotel room outside. 5 days have passed since check out and Comfort Inn still hasnt returned my security deposit. Lots of old bicycles, senior carts and refuse outside on the main floor around the sides and back of hotel The room was clean

I have been staying on and off at comfort inn Pickering since 2021. The longest I’ve stayed is over a month. I stay for convenience sometimes and have stayed while moving houses as well, and the staff have been nothing short of amazing toward myself and my daughter. This week we stayed and had my mother with us. It was a pleasant 5 night stay. Thank you to Alex, Niama, Juliette, and Bridgette and the rest of the team for their kindness, support, and comfort! Whenever I need somewhere to stay I would choose comfort inn Pickering!

Toilet was clugged when we showed up but we knew we where only staying for a few hours till we left for a flight so we left it alone and was going to tell staff in the morning but my wife woke up to go to the bathroom and the toilet over flowed a little when she flushed it. Staff was only going to give me a plunger until he couldn't find one so i asked for another room which was given to me and it was the room next to our original room so that was really good but lost a good amount sleep.

It's a mediocre hotel. Not known as the best of the best. But for the price it's the best you'll get. The service was good. Our first room had a leaking toilet and the AC was not working as intended. Magement moved us to a more functional room. With a heat wave going on I'm glad they came through
