Comfort Suites Maingate East

Amazing hotel! It was in a great location right next to fun spot. I picked this hotel because of its reviews and closeness to where I wanted to go. The rooms are so spacious,clean and amazing. The breakfast was great and I didn’t get a chance to try the pool with my little one, but just looked at it. It’s amazing. I can’t wait to come back.

This place was awesome! Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool area is great. The rooms, even though aren't brand new, are very spacious (I had a two queen bed room) and well maintained/clean. And the free breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from. Location is good too, so many fun places around the hotel! Whenever I'm in the area, I now know where I'll be staying going forward.

This hotel(Comfort Suites maingate east)  location is great ! Very close to Disney world .  Many restaurants and fast food near by (like Davis  chicken is very close and open until 11pm)also CVS and convenience store is close by. Breakfast is good enough.  Room is clean . just Don’t forget to bring your own toothbrush and sleeper (no sleeper no toothbrush )  .We are Pretty happy stay here this time And would like to stay here again if we come Orlando next time. Thank you all.

I would recommend a skip- the lobby floors are dirty, the hallways are dirty. The elevators are slow. Hallways smelled like the air was broken and like Mildew had set in. The room has very hard beds, we asked for toppers (which we never got). The mattresses are clean. But the room carpet had odd wet spots on the day we arrived. Appliances worked but were worse for wear. Complimentary room Cups are not packaged individually. The breakfast was hot but not a great selection unless you like CheeseWhiz in your eggs. Serviceable for the price but would recommend finding alternative accommodations.

I stayed here 10 years ago and it was a decent choice. Apparently there has been very little upkeep and maintenance over the years and this hotel is really starting to show its age.||The location is great. Very close to Disney and literally across the street from Old Town and Fun Spot. Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from. ||The pool area is nice and honestly the highlight of our entire stay. Pool towels were scarce ||Breakfast was acceptable. Staff were polite, but overworked. We stayed for 6 nights but never received housekeeping, even after requesting it 3 separate occasions. Housekeeping consists of changing towels and taking out the trash.||The common areas of the hotel are very worn. Carpet in the hallways and rooms need replaced. The elevators are extremely slow! Touch up paint needed throughout.||On a positive note, our room was clean. I checked for dust on the headboards and the fan, both were clean. ||There are lots of hotel choices in the Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista area. You’re better off making a choice to stay at a newer hotel.

We have been coming to this hotel for many many years and staying anywhere from 3 to 4 nights a couple times a year. We checked in on 4/19/25 for a two night stay. This was the worst experience we've ever had. It seems like the entire hotel staff has changed and not for the better. Breakfast has become mediocre. The staff doing the breakfast are very unfriendly and can barely if at all speak english. The room was okay but is in need of repair and a deep cleaning. The hotel itself could definitely use a major upgrade. The pool area is not well kept and it seems that there are not as many tables, chairs and loungers as they once had. If we go back to Kississimee again we will definitely check out other hotels in the area. Check other negative reviews before booking this hotel. If I could I would give it a negative star rating.

This is a very nice hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Breakfast has cute little mickey Mouse shaped pancakes which the kids really liked. Nice pool with bar. Close to everything. Only fall back is they only clean your room every three days. They offer transportation only to Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom which only runs twice in the morning and at evening. The first shuttle doesn't leave until almost 10 and it goes to Hollywod Studio's first and then Magic Kingdom which is really to late in my opinion. We just ended up driving and paying the parking fee of $30.

By far the worst hotel experience of my life. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. Every time id go to use the key card to access my room, it’d take 15 attempts. There was hair all over the bed. Next day, go to pool. The pool bathroom door wouldn’t close. Go to my room and there’s nasty little bugs all along the door frame. I had enough. I call front desk and everytime I’d start talking about the issues, she’d act like she couldn’t hear me. She heard me just fine until discussion of the issues. Then she tells me manager will call. Then she calls back and says if I want to talk, come downstairs. Such customer service… she tries blaming me saying there must be food in the room and that’s why the bugs are there. 1) there wasn’t food in room 2) people are allowed to eat in their room. She proceeds to move my room up one floor. That one had the same bugs. I go downstairs and tell her to cancel my stay, refund my money and I’m done. I told her this was an infestation and she said “I know.” She told me she’d have the manager call me that Monday. Never did. I’m shocked this place hasn’t been shut down.

Taking a much needed break in Kissimmee. I'm not doing any amusement parks this time cause it's too hot. I plan to just enjoy the city and relax as much as I can. Located near Old Town, Comfort Suites is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. There is plenty of parking so I don't have to worry about finding one if I stay out late. I arrived on time for check in which was already reserved. The male front desk agent was very pleasant. As he checked me in and handed me the card key, he also informed me what time breakfast started and some of the other amenities that were offered such as: * free wifi * poolside tiki bar * on-site coin laundry * marketplace/gameroom * fitness center * shuttle service to parks The room I was given was large, clean, and spacious with cool A/C. Along with a king sized bed and cable tv there were two small tables - one where I can eat and the other where I can write my reviews and charge my devices. There's also a small closet, clean bathroom, plenty of drawers for storage, a sofa, microwave, in-room fridge, and cabinet storage with a small sink. I think I'm set. Breakfast was daily from 6:30am - 9:30am. It's held in a large area with plenty of seating accommodating more than 40 people. Items being offered were: * various juices, hot tea/coffee, water, milk * dry cereal, fresh fruit, mini danish/muffins * yogurt, apple sauce, cream cheese, butter * small waffles, bread slices, bagels * eggs and sausage links in a chafing dish The area was kept clean and the items were refilled as needed. There are doors leading out to the pool area where you can chill and cool off from the heat. The are many lounge chairs and shaded tables around the 3ft-5ft pool, as well as a smaller pool for a more solitude relaxation. The tiki bar is open daily from 3pm -11pm serving cold drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) and pizza. I have definitely enjoyed my stay at Comfort Suites Maingate East. There was so much to do on and off the premises. Got to relax which was the main reason for coming. The hotel is located just walking distance from Old Town where you can go eat or entertain yourself with many games and rides. Or you can venture around town to shop, dine, and have fun....the choices are endless which is why I keep coming back to this area.

I'm actually astonished by the amount of positive reviews after staying here. This place is absolutely disgusting. Bugs, black mold, dirty bathtub and shower head, multiple stains on carpet (some being blood stains), stains on pillowcases, unpleasant smell, dust and dirty everywhere, everything is run down. Even the elevators and hallways are gross. I spoke to the front desk and was given a room with no visible bugs, but the rest of the problems remained. I was told that bugs are normal and probably came out of the AC vent. (I'm sure a lot of things live in these ACs, they're that dirty). I've been in multiple hotels without bugs, so I'm not sure it's "normal" The only upside is the location. If you're fine with sleeping in filth and breathing in the smell of mold, it's only a few minute drive to each park. I originally booked this hotel for the shuttle service, but even that is only twice a day to only 2 of the parks with very limited time frames. Please don't stay here for your own wellbeing. It's disgusting.

This hotel is very mid. I usually stay in this hotel when visiting central Florida since it is right next to Old Town/Fun Spot USA. That makes it very convenient when you want to spend time shopping around or having a few drinks at the classic car show. Other than that, the room is very basic. Pillows are small and the bed is just okay. The pool area is very nice but the Tiki bar is only one 3-11pm. Not ideal hours for people who want to spend the day time hours by the pool and need to enjoy some food or a drink. The breakfast is also very mid. This was my 4th time at this hotel and over the years the breakfast has definitely gotten worse. The only bread option they have is white sandwich bread. No wheat, no bagels, no English muffins. The highlight of course is their Mickey Mouse waffles which the kids love. The best part of the stay was the staff. They are nice and friendly which is a positive. I would recommend if you're specifically looking to go to Old Town.

3 stars this trip. Normally I would go with 5. But the drain in the bathroom was clogged and I had get maintenance to fix it. There was no internet WiFi service on 2 days. Also the charging station on the desk is wore out and don't work. Please restore my confidence in your motel. I stay here several times per year.

Pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed ourselves. Very clean. Loved that the pool & hut tub were open all night but which the bar was too. Would also have liked the bar to have snack foods available (nachos, pizza, wings, etc). Sad that it was only open until 11pm. After a long day at the park it was nice to hang out outside. Loved that it was close to everything but not any decent places to eat within walking distance. Overall we had a great time. The breakfast buffet was great too!

Overall we were pleased with the stay. We were there for a Disney trip with the family and wanted somewhere off the resort. Here are things to note: Heated pool and open 24 hours Breakfast included from 6:30-10am. They served three styles of Mickey pancakes and the kids loved that! Other items were eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, bagels, pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, oatmeal, and probably more I missed! There is plenty of shopping and things to do by the hotel. There's this amusement park and board walk immediately outside the hotel. We went as a big family and the grandparents went and walked around the board walk. We took the kids to the amusement area. And later us adults went out to the restaurants nearby. You'll also want to go to the World of Food Trucks which is just one street over. Tons of food trucks and a flea market. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff was so helpful. Only negative was the carpets probably everywhere could benefit from being replaced. Rooms smelled from the old mess of the carpet.

We had an AMAZING 3-night stay at this hotel. Located in walking distance of Old Town amusement park and a10 minute drive from Disney, made this hotel desirable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was top notch. The room was spacious and clean. The only improvement they need to consider are faster elevator service. Definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return on a future visit.

Came here 13 years ago and this place was rated #1 on expedia. I remembered it fondly. This time around, well.... Let's start with the Pros: Location! Location! Location! This place is a walk away from Old Town, Fun Spot, Pirates Cove Mini Golf and tons of food options. Also, 8 minutes by car to The Happiest Place On Earth! So location is a 5 star! The pool and hot tub area were clean and well kept. Beautiful exterior. Free breakfast with big ad small Mickey waffles! It was good for a short family vacation if you get this hotel on sale. Cons: If not on sale, this place can cost up to 200$ a night and for this I would expect much more! The room was supposed to be renovated but looked beat up! Huge crack near the fridge, chips in the furniture, the bed was springy! Then the ceiling fan...omg the amount of dust built up on the ceiling fan was enough ti make us sick! We made sure not to turn it on. Lastly, our toilet. We thought it was blocked called front desk. Said they would check it. Once we got back to the room same thing. Called them back and was told, it is not blocked just takes long for the water to fill the toilet. When waiting 20 minutes for it to fill, My husband decided to lift the tank cover an realized the rubber was warn. So everytime we'd go to the bathroom my husband would lift the cover to fix it!!!! Hilarious really. The hotel was warn, grimy in the elevators. It was not the worst place in Kissimmee but we just expected to mich better!! Perfect location, pool and hot tub is great. Breakfast is good but when you offer it to 9:30 and at 815 telling people you're not making food then you give them hard boil eggs 15 mins before it ends. So when we arrrived the carpet was wet. We complained and they didn't do anything until Tuesday the day before we are leaving and our family is sick from water that is now half way in the room. They exchanged rooms out last night. They refund one night stay. I hope they clean up the mess not just the water

What a great find! We didn't even know there was a whole amusement park across the street and miniature golf next door! There are a ton of restaurants on this strip within walking distance as well as nearby with in blocks. There is a flea market about 2 blocks away. There are food trucks lined up in front and in the back of the strip mall, so you can get pretty much and flavor your heart desires. The hotel itself is decent. In need of some deep cleaning. Water pressure in the toilet is not great. The water in the drinking fountain is warm. The breakfast is pretty standard. I would only suggest they have some alternatives available for special request only. For instance, turkey bacon and plant based sausage, maybe some soy milk... I have been at some hotels where i asked for an alternative to the pork, and they have gone in the back and cooked a couple of peices turkey bacon. Just saying... also might want to have packets of honey for the tea. But otherwise, a decent breakfast. There is plenty of food. The outdoor pool was big and heated! It was enjoyable as it was only in the low 60s when we were visiting. The kids were able to swim because the water was warm enough. There is also a hot tub! I recommend you talk to the concierge desk after the reservation is made. They can get you some good deals on theme parks and other attractions. These can be purchased ahead of time or on-site. They are open 7 to 1 each day. They have shuttles available to some of the resorts like Disney, Epcott, and Universal studios. Both ladies I talked to at the concierge were very pleasant to talk to and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

This is definitely a great place to stay. Every time we have stayed here it has been clean, the room are nice, the staff is professional and friendly and the breakfast is good. We've never had any issues and it's in a great location.

If I can say one thing, which may be pretty obvious, is believe current reviews. We stayed here in 2019 and it was great, clean and new. Despite recent negative reviews, I booked here again 10/2023 and I couldn't believe it was the same place. The stench the moment you walk into the lobby, floors and elevators are dirty. You can smell the mold in the hotel room(s). This picture speaks for itself.

First stay - A steady drip from a leak in ceiling kept us awake most of the night. Second stay - Used bath towel left hanging on the bathroom door and a used bar of soap was left in the shower.

Check-in was easy. Room was clean, but every time I entered the room , a strong spice smell was very noticeable. Pool area was nice. I got a smoothie ($5) from the bar at the pool. You can pay cash, or charge to your room card. Breakfast was the usual Comfort Suites breakfast, but one big difference, was they had an employee making small and large Mickey waffles. Some plain, and some with chocolate chips. Breakfast area was very busy.

This place is great. Very close to old town and plenty to do in the area, car shows on Fridays and Saturdays. My only complaint is that I wish the bartender would focus on watching for customers rather than having their face glued to their phone. I literally stood in front of the bartender for 8 minutes wanting to order a drink. Not once did he bother to look up and check if there were any customers at the bar. We shouldn't have to fight to get your attention when we are here to relax and give you money. 3/22/2024.

Stayed here while visiting the parks. Right by Old Towne. Super lit parking. Secure entry for late arrival. Front desk was pleasant. Elevator & halls were clean w/ NO smell (rare these days). Our suite was moderately large w/ dresser, desk, 3 tables and sleeper sofa plus kitchenette. Everything was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy with double blankets and various pillows. 5 lights plus a ceiling fan made for plenty of light. Safe, tons of outlets & a large led TV complete the amenities. Breakfast was decent considering Covid standards. Mickey waffles always a hit. I'd recommend staying here and will likely return.

We chose this hotel based on the fact that it advertised a "shuttle" for DisneyWorld. One bus that leaves to 2 of the parks long after they have opened and one bus that goes to the other 2 parks HOURS after they have opened. Does not constitute a shuttle. And being forced to come back from the park at 4:00p.m.? It's laughable. We had to add $30 daily to our budget in order to park at the parks. In addition, housekeeping was horrific. The first day, they came in to freshen towels, etc. Took most of our towels and didn't replace them. The next day, I requested a full room clean, they fixed the towel issue but left us with NO toilet paper or tissues. The next day, there was nothing. The following day another towel refresh and they took ALL of our towels and left a note that they were sorry, they would bring towels later. We arrived home after 11 p.m. and still had no towels. No reason to return to this hotel and I would advise anyone else against it.

My husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel for 5 nights and I'm so happy we did ! All the employees were so kind and friendly but I am really impressed with our housekeeper soitlame she was 100% amazing ! I so appreciate her especially with her creative making of animals with towels --- super cool and totally made our night after a long day at the amusement parks ! The hot breakfast everyday was delicious! We used the hot tub several nights as well and also had a cocktail at the bar several nights too ! If I ever come back to Orlando I'm coming here --- this place was 100% perfect ! I highly recommend this amazing hotel as it had everything but most importantly All the employees were so kind and friendly which is a must for us ---- kindness , it don't cost a damn thing

This is a fabulous hotel. It should be listed as 5 stars! It is beautiful, spotless, the pool is fabulous. I can't say enough about how great it is. We do a lot of traveling and this is as good as it gets. The employees are always smiling, the free breakfast is delicious. This is the nicest Comfort Inn anywhere. It's more like a Hyatt or a Hilton. ​

I am a little bit late in posting this review but here you go My husband and I chose to stay here on a weekend getaway. We were so impressed that we have an upcoming family vacation that we switched hotels and are staying here. The parking is well lit and there is security roaming and watching at night. The check in super easy and nice. There was a fresh clean smell when the doors opened. Rooms and hallways free of dust and clean. We did not have housekeeping as it was only a couple of days but was giving a door hanger to put on door for additional supplies (towels tissue etc.) That was there in a sealed bag outside of door when we returned. Housekeeping starts early. Pool open 24 hours has plenty of seating and a bar. Breakfast has fresh hot Mickey waffles . Small and big ones with chocolate chips or without . All employees were super nice and courteous. Old town is directly across the street so easy to walk over to. Location of the hotel is convenient to everything. Great place to stay looking forward to our next visit

Excellent location. walk to Uptown and 10-15 minutes away from Disney. Hot breakfast. Game room. Small store.24/7 pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again.

4 Stars is just right. My room, sorry suite, was very clean and extremely spacious and I had a nice view of the pool. I will describe the room simply as having NO USB ports, so a little dated. Their "Included" breakfast was the best breakfast on its level, it exceeded the hotel itself. Great, Abundant, Fresh, Food, Extremely helpful and diligent staff, very clean and organized. If you like "Old Town" its right next door. I would use this place again.

This is my new, favorite Choice Hotel Property! I have achieved Diamond status because I usually stay at over 100 nights in various hotels every year, but focus on Choice Hotels whenever possible. I am on pace to eclipse that in 2019. I travel all over the country and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This Hotel is Exceptional! We booked for the first time on this property back in March because it's 15 minutes from Disney. Since then we've already been back, and have several nights already booked at both the end of June and then again at the beginning of July. As Disney Annual Passholders we get free parking at the parks, and the convenience of having our car readily accessible all day in nearby lots is a huge benefit. Plus, the drive is shorter than shuttle service. Staying off-property is so much more cost effective, and this hotel makes you feel that you are still pampering yourself with wonderful, clean rooms and an incredible free breakfast every morning. I'd rather spend the money I save every visit on my family at the parks or restaurants. Every single employee I have ever encountered has gone above and beyond in making sure that my needs are met. I wanted to give special accolades for how they treated me on my most recent stay. We booked a Free Night using my Hotel Points. Just one Saturday night where we drove down in the early morning hours, spent Saturday at the Parks, then headed to the hotel to crash and start all over again the next day. The room they provided for us was magnificent! We must have "won the lottery" because we were put into a Suite with a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, and very large bathrooms with 2 sink/vanities. Honestly it was bigger than my first apartment! I know that this was just the luck of the draw, but to receive these accommodations while cashing in on free hotel points was such a wonderful surprise. But here is where their attention to detail and hospitality sets them apart! They gave us a water and bag of chips as a welcoming gift when we checked in, then went we went to our room there was a basket of snacks and waters on the table along with a personally addressed Thank You Note! "WELCOME BACK!!!!! Thank you for choosing us again for your stay in Central Florida. Please enjoy your stay! - Comfort Suites Staff" I was honestly blown away. As I've said, we stay at a lot of different hotels every year - Including several different Choice Properties in the Orlando Area where we were somewhat regular guests so that we'd be closer to Universal and other attractions. Not one of these properties is as nice, with as fantastic a breakfast operation, and a staff that takes the time to make you feel special and appreciated. I guarantee that no matter where my business or recreation might have us spending our time in Central Florida, we will gladly do whatever extra driving is required in order to stay at the Comfort Suites Maingate East.

Now this is a really nice hotel in a very moderate price range. Designed for all families and couples. This is a newer hotel and because it's a Choice Hotel (I recommend signing up for their Members club for benefits and free nights). All guests are treated every morning to buffet style breakfast FREE. Eggs, sausage and waffles, not too shabby. Coffee is good. Rooms are immaculate and we all loved their feather down pillows. They no longer make up the room everyday only upon request. However they have request tickets to hang on your door every morning for new towels and ammenities. Pool is gorgeous with hot tub, are you ready for this?, open 24 hours. Only complaint is for their only two slow elevators, get below 3rd floor room or lower. We were on the highest 7th floor so long waits up and down. Hotel stay was well worth the small waits. Book this hotel and you won't be sorry. Very comfortable.

Highly impressed with this hotel. When driving through the main drive to the hotel I was kind of sketched out but once I got here wow! If you were planning on staying around here definitely keep the spot in mind. The rooms are all up-to-date and might even be new. The back yard has a large pool with a Jacuzzi and plenty of seating. I almost booked this place while I was staying here just to get another night. Highly highly highly recommend this place and this is where we will be staying when we go to Disney again!!

Rooms aren't clean enough. The staff is friendly, but it's not a comfortable place to stay sadly.

I will start with the positives first: pretty close to Disney, lots of nearby restaurants, large clean rooms, and recently renovated. I only booked because their reviews on TripAdvisor were amazing and all the Disney hotels were sold out that weekend. Our experience just wasn't that great. First, the check in process is fine. But then you have to go to another desk to get your parking pass. Once you walk over to the desk, they do a hard sell on a timeshare presentation. No thanks. We stayed two nights and the first night we had a random person knock on our door then call us, oops, they had the wrong room. The second night was worse. Someone was inserting their card in our door. They were having trouble. Then I heard it beep and I held the door shut and said someone is in here. I called the front desk and they apologized and got them a different room. But, what if we weren't there? Ugh. That's a big mistake. As an added bonus, they were part of a high school trip so plenty of noise the remainder of the night in the other rooms. Unfortunately, I will not plan to stay again.

Nice place and rate was excellent for a one night stay before our check in to Disney for 4 days. Excellent amenities, staff was not the friendliest during the check in and the breakfast staff made us feel like we were in their way. If that would have been different we might have given it a better rating.

Staying at this hotel since the 22nd. My room is spacious and clean. The hotel has been updated and the atmosphere is very calming. Located right off the main drag near everything. Free breakfast in the mornings. No bacon or sausage or bagels on the buffet but they have beans and thinly sliced ham. With delicious big Mickey Mouse waffles. Plenty of seating at breakfast. Lots of restaurants near by. Will be staying here again soon.

I was very disappointed with my stay here. I relied on reviews and photos that definitely did not depict the current 2021 conditions of the hotel. My room was filthy. I checked in late so I had to wait until the next morning to complain about my dissatisfaction. The response I received from the manager was that of no care..not my problem attitude . I took pictures so I could point out the things that were dirty... bedding ,toilet, shower ,cabinet, coffee maker , squeaking mattress and red and orange carpet stains throughout the room . The room smelled of mold . I was shocked at the response the manger gave.. ma'am kids come in a spill juice in the carpet and we just can't rip up the carpet every time this happens ""....Really!!! That's your response! Care more about the facility and invest in a carpet cleaner! I asked if I could be switched to a different room and he responded.... we are completely sold out! So basically all he could offer was a cleaning. Terrible.... I had to stay here for one week as I could not find another hotel on such short notice and a tournament near by limited my options. I would not recommend this hotel .....outdated...musty

This is by far my favorite hotel in the area. Not only because the rooms are very well maintained and clean, or that it's only a short drive from Disney, or right across the street from Old Town and Fun Spot, but the staff goes above and beyond to make your visit memorable. I've stayed there many times and when I arrived after hours, my room was still held for me. Knowing that I would be arriving late, management would often have a complimentary snack basket and a couple of sodas in the fridge waiting for me with a welcome note so I wouldn't have to go back out to the store that late. It's things like that, that let you know you're not just another number to them. The rooms have both a small fridge and a microwave, as well as a small coffee maker, although I would recommend getting some of the complimentary coffee from the lobby. There is also a small convenience shop in the lobby area in case you are looking for a snack. If you forgot your toothbrush or something like that from home, ask the front desk staff before venturing out to a store. They often have some complimentary things like that on hand. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant area offering both hot and cold items was always delicious. The couple of times I used the pool, it seemed well maintained. They also offer free shuttles to Universal, Sea World, and Epcot. You can then take the free Disney tram from Epcot to any of the other parks. So if you're thinking of forgoing a rental car, this is a great property to stay at. I don't believe I've ever had a complaint during any of my 10+ stays there. There is also a 24hr pharmacy and a supermarket, as well as several restaurants, both fast food and sit-down, within a 2 to 3 block walking distance. If you're staying in the Kissimmee area, THIS is the place to stay.

I was staying here for a week when we first got here we got the room 206 the door was completely broken in the outside so I had to go back down stairs for a new room I told them the door won't open the front desk people look at me like I did it but now I move to the other room 220 , door works soon as you go to the second bed it's breaks under you and the toilet over flows once you flush it and the air conditioner makes the room stuffy, and only 1 tv that has dark color on tv channels but the free breakfast is good you get big Mickey waffles chocolate chip or plan flavors nothing else hot and microwave ready to go breakfast English muffins or cereal or yogurt & orange juice or apple juice or make your own tea n coffee to go. The pool is smaller in person no hot tub but it's stay 24hours open,

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times as we are annual pass holders at Disney. Sadly, this will be our last stay. While the hotel seems clean, they fail to enforce any mask mandates. We saw signs, but lots of people were walking around the hotel without masks. When we went to the desk and asked about the policy we were told, "Technically they have to wear a mask in the elevator, lobby, entering the breakfast area, etc...." Obviously, it's only a suggestion and not enforced. Also, this is supposed to be a no-smoking floor and you can smell cigarette smoke very strongly. I figure if they don't enforce the mask wearing or the no smoking then it's highly unlikely that they are doing the room disinfection they claim to be doing. We really liked staying here in the past. But going forward, we'll be staying elsewhere.

We stayed for six nights and were in a one bedroom suite with a separate living room. We were really impressed with the size of the suite for the price we paid. Fairly clean and housekeeping did an adequate job (we did tip $5 for her to change our sheets on night #4). Continental breakfast was just so so. Mickey waffles were always the highlight and on morning #6 we opted for Cracker Barrel instead. My husband and son enjoyed the pool. My main gripe was that most nights we could very clearly hear the music and screams from the Fun Land amusement park next door (our room faced it). We ended up putting the AC unit on the constant fan setting to drown it out so we could sleep. Overall a really good value and we will stay again if we decide to stay off Disney property.

Really enjoyed my 4-night stay at CS Maingate East. Hotel was nice & my room was spacious & clean. Also has a good size pool & bar. Across the street is a fun-park with several rides including a roller coaster & go-carts. Hotel is walking distance to several restaurants.

Decent location, good price, good quality, far from perfect with lots of simple things they can do to improve. What sold us was the 24 hour pool and hot tub. Hot tub was NOT HOT. Layout of pool area great. Hot tub was even jungle-ish, in a Choice Hotels, not resort hotel, kind of way. Hot tub temperature was disappointing. Pool may even have been warmer. I guess that's what we get for trying to use it at 2am. Also the pool area was a mess. Half smoked cigarettes, empty cups, used towels. If they are going to have a 24 hour pool, especially on days like Valentine's Day when the hotel is sold out they have additional security staff on duty to walk-through and inspect and CLEAN UP certain areas, there is no excuse for it not getting done. The hotel was sold out, so when we checked in at 1:30am and discovered our toilet was pre-clogged, we just let it slide. There was some suction so that it did not overflow and it was enough so that the toilet unclogged itself after a couple flushes. Thanks to that fix, I could give this hotel 3 stars, as I was looking at a 2 star rating based on first impressions with the cold hot tub and the clogged toilet. But this Comfort Suites is a great location close to Disney, with large suite style rooms that all have kitchenettes. Extra pillows on the beds and complimentary hot breakfast like most decent Choice Hotels. Some chains alternate different options. Here they had waffles (including Mickey ones), sausage, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. They really pulled out all the stops. Taste of the free breakfast is nothing to write home about, but as someone who worked for years at Choice Hotels, it was on par with the others, except they made everything they had to offer, they did not alternate different items on different days. The staff was helpful at night. After we found the hot tub rather cool we thought we could run the jets for a while to get it warmer. We asked the lady at the front desk if she knew any tricks. She did not, but was pretty sure other tried what we tried, to no avail. At least she was honest and saved us 30 minutes of frustration. There is ice and vending on every floor (or so I think, it was like that on the 5th floor). The elevator look a bit retro, but they run fine. The appearance of the building and lobby is clean and comforting. Free wifi and HBO. Overall, this Comfort Suites met all my expectations, except for the hot tub issue. Please get that fixed and I will not only recommend to others, but also come back, and probably up the rating to 4 stars because the 24 hour pool and hot tub is a major selling point if I am going to come out from Tampa to spend the day at Disney opt to pay to stay near the park instead of drive back, and if I do that, I want a hot tub to relax in!

Comfortable, clean room, and wonderful service from everyone working in this facility. Loved the Mickey Mouse waffles!

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Carpets could use some updating. Breakfast everyday included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffles, bananas, cereal and toasts. The meat had alternated between sausages and ham of the 3 days I stayed there. Orange juice was always replenished.

We scored a deal through Groupon and took the chance to stay here when we were in Orlando this past week. We were super impressed with how clean the hotel and attentive the staff was. Our room was very nice and spacious. It included a microwave, refrigerator, and a sofa along with the usual bed, TV, desk, closet, and drawers. The bathroom was huge and it was very comfy. The hotel offers free wi-fi and continental breakfast for the guests. I wish I took pictures of the room that we stayed in, but if we stay in the area again, we'll be returning. It's located behind Old Town and Fun Spot, so keep a note of that if you're not familiar with the area. There's plenty of entertainment, restaurants, and shops to get involved in if you decide to check out that part as well. We checked out Old Town and it was a lot of fun. There was a band playing and plenty of people watching too. What happens in Orlando stays in Orlando ;)

I don't think i've ever had a better experience. The staff was always super helpful. the breakfast was always switched so we had many of options and there were also always regular and chocolate chip waffles. including mickey waffles. when we got back from disney every night our personal blankets were folded nice and neatly and the beds were made. when ever we needed something they helped us asap. def recommend.

Absolute scam! DO NOT STAY HERE! I am a traveling nurse and got in from my flight at 1AM. I arrived to the hotel at 3AM. I had previously booked this knowing this. I showed up to the hotel where no management was present. I called and called the number it said to and no one answered. I ended up having get a new hotel at 4:30AM. When confronted and asked for a refund, I was told because I didn't check in on the original date, I was not getting a refund. THEY HAVE NO MANAGEMENT ON PROPERTY!! If there is an emergency, you are screwed.

Very nice property, great location. One block to Old Town with 50/60 shops and a couple restaurants. Just two blocks off major thoroughfare with unlimited restaurants. 10 minute drive from Disney. Re-modeling going on now. Stayed on 7 th (top) floor. Top floors already renovated and far away from construction noise. Multiple choice free breakfast. Hot and cold foods. Something for everyone. Nice bar out by the pool to watch football or have umbrella drinks. Less than 30 min from Orlando Int'l Airport. Highly recommend this property. Maybe construction prices, but less than $100. !

This is our 3rd stay here. Location is great, easy drive to everything. Love this hotel, we've stay at many comfort inns but this by far is the nicest. We stayed in room *21,a 1/2 room, it was beautiful and specious, perfect for our stay. The housekeeper was very nice and did a great job. My only suggestions would be to please install some towel racks out side the master shower.....there is nowhere to hang your towel. The couch and chair in the living room are extremely uncomfortable....but that's minor. Old town comes alive on Saturday night with a fantastic car show, we really enjoyed that. The view on the pool side is the best, with the woods and the pond. The breakfast bar is amazing .....plenty to choose from. Front desk staff friendly and accommodating. Hotel is clean and just very nice! We'll be back many times I'm sure . PS....The a/c is loud, old and musty, i put a car air freshener in the a/c that helped.....a minor issue at best !

This is our favorite hotel when staying in Disney! The room is around $90 a night and was just updated!!! It's so clean and staff is always pleasant. We also love the free breakfast.

This hotel is wonderful, clean and updated and they have great breakfast with mickey mouse waffles. It has a lively pool and staff is great. It is very great deal and not too far the disney parks.

We Had Reserved A One Bedroom, King Bed Suite. And, It Was Absolutely The Best Decision We Have Ever Made, As To Away From Home, Lodging! Mainly Due To Miss Cristina (Front Desk Clerk), Mr. Edwin (Maintenance Dept.) And Mr. Robert (Manager). These Staff Members Made Our Stay The Very Best We Have Ever Experienced In Any Hotel / Condo Stay, Anyplace Ever! We Were Treated Like Family And Way Above And Beyond What Was Ever Expected From Any Hotel / Condo Facility! Upon Presentation Of Our SAR K-9 German Shepherd, Licenses And Certification Paperwork At Check In; Our German Shepherd Was Welcomed Equally To Ourselves! Which Of Course Is Always A Major Plus With Us. Miss Cristina Went Way Out Of Her Way Repeatedly, To Fully Answer All Of Our Numerous Questions, Arrange All Of Our Continued Extended Reservations, And Make Certain Our Stay Was The Very Best Possible. Likewise With The Manger, Mr. Robert. A Slight A/C Issued Occurred In Our Suite, While We Were There. And, Mr. Edwin (Maintenance Dept.) Was Immediately Right On It! Likewise, With His Very Noticeable Cleaning Of The Pool / Hot Tub Area. The Facility Literally Stayed Very Clean The Entire Time We Were There. And, All Of These Staff Members Actually Made Sure Our Stay There Was Above Exceptional!!! Literally Everyone On Staff Was Exceptionally Friendly To Us During Our Entire Stay! And, Went Way Out Of Their way To Make Certain We Were Comfortable. We Frequently Visit That Specific Area. Especially With Fun Spot Right Within Walking Distance, Right Next Door! And, I Have To Say: We Will Never Again Stay Anyplace Else. Except At This Comfort Suites Facility!!!! We Can't Wait To Visit Them Once Again In The Very Near Future!!!
