The food was tasty, with the goose liver surprisingly excellent. The salad starter and sorbet were a nice touch, and the liquor selection was very good. The restaurant is quite small and being seated just behind the open door. Overall, I recommend it, but make sure to book in advance.

Just arrived in Budapest during very cold weather — snowy, rainy, and grey. On the way here, I received a recommendation for this place: good food, a nice atmosphere, and a central location. Since I couldn’t find many immediate recommendations online, I was a bit suspicious, but stayed open-minded. I made a reservation even before the plane took off. After landing, I received the confirmation, and we went there for a pre-birthday dinner. What can I say? This place is an absolute must. The food is great and incredibly tasty, the atmosphere feels warm and homey, and there is genuine love and respect for all nationalities. Israelis are more than just welcome. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and dedicated. What a place. Absolutely recommended — even though it’s not very cheap, every cent was worth it. A full 100% recommendation.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for three months, finally doing it now because this place truly deserves it! We managed to get a table without a reservation, which was really lucky as this restaurant is quite popular on social media. The staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive throughout our meal. The signature foie gras was absolutely delicious and the goulash was equally impressive. What made the experience even more memorable was the thoughtful gesture at the end, they passed me a box of high-quality chocolates when we were leaving. Such a lovely touch that made the whole day feel extra special.

First of all, everyone was super nice and kind. It's a small restaurant. I think not even 10 tables. So every table gets good care and they keep track of everything. Food gets served up pretty quick. Btw, the Prawn with olive &garlic!!!! It was so delicious. One of the best prawn I had in my life. Garlic soup was the soup of the day which was also nice. The non-alcohol beer was like a larger. I enjoyed it. Pork medalion was a little bit dry but the sauce was great. Lots of similar menu of italian cuisine.

Lovely cosy restaurant. Luckily we booked in advance (via email) it's fully booked from 12:00 noon until the last sitting at 10pm. We get a 2 hour sitting which fine given their fast, efficient and friendly service. They even have time to serve some complimentary extras - salad to start, desert wine, sorbet and a liquor. For starters we shared a Hungarian Goulash (they even split it for us). For mains I decided to try something different - the flambé goose liver and apple, served with mash potatoes. It was delicious. Not too heavy, with a smooth and tender texture. My wife ordered the (highly recommended) seafood pasta (spaghetti). Both were absolutely delicious! Good portion sizes - which we struggled to finish. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked with a very generous helping of seafood (mainly large shrimps). Overall a lovely evening with amazing food and superb service. Highly recommended.😋

This restaurant is famous better do reservation rather than walk-in. I arrive at 8:45pm and the staff told me it's full can come back after 30mins. After 30mins I went back and still need to wait for few minutes only I got a table. I ordered the spaghetti with seafood it's 8900HUF. The portion is too big for 1 person, can share with 2 person. The seafoods are tasty and fresh but the giant calamari seems no taste. The spaghetti taste normal. And dessert I ordered chocolate cake with ice-cream. I like the dessert.

Ordered three dishes: Shrimp, Red Wine Beef Stew, and Seafood Noodles. The Shrimp and Seafood Noodles are delicious. The portion of Seafood Noodles is suitable for two people. Since the shrimp and the shrimp on top of the Seafood Noodles might overlap in style, and the prices are actually quite similar, I suggest you can skip ordering the Shrimp and just go for the Seafood Noodles. The Red Wine Beef Stew (similar to macaroni—that kind of dish is quite good). You must book a table in advance. About 70% of the customers in the restaurant are Asians, so it quite suits Asian tastes. After the meal, there’s free dessert: lemon sorbet and sweet wine. For appetizers, there’s also free garlic bread. Prices are mid to high.
