Worst experience I’ve ever had at CDG shop. I visited the store today and was shocked by the rude attitude of the staff at the main entrance. When we politely asked him for the price of a pair of shoes, this guy come over and pulled the price tag out from deep inside the shoe, and threw it on the table without saying a single word. No greeting, no explanation, no expression on his face — just completely disrespectful behavior. My husband really liked the shoes, but after being treated this way, we immediately walked out. It totally ruined our shopping mood. We continued shopping at nearby stores, and every other shop assistant in Tokyo was friendly and helpful. This is the first time we’ve encountered such a rude staff member in Tokyo, and unfortunately, it happened at this store. Very disappointing and definitely the worst experience ever.

Very nice assistance by a cool woman with spikey hair 😎 She helped me and my girlfriend try on a couple of pieces with great advice and general chatting about Naoshima. Unfortunately we were not able to come back to the store when returning to Tokyo.

I would give zero stars if I could. One of the female staff members, wearing a white organza skirt, was extremely rude. When we made eye contact, I was so shocked - she glared at me as if I owed her a million pound. There are plenty of COMME des GARÇONS shops in Tokyo, go shop elsewhere, this one is not worth your time. All the other shops we got into were nice and had pleasant experiences.

Real cool design and decoration. Very spacious with black and white clothes organized separately and nicely. Staff is very stylish. Love the architecture.

The store is beautiful and I think has the complete collections. Also the staff is helpful and friendly and not snobbish.

A must visit for any true Comme des Garcons fan. The installations are worth checking out. Now that the store is 2 floors, other lines such as noir kei ninomiya and Comme Girl have their own spaces.

Iconic store with cool history. Staff are very nice & fun to work with. A must visit for fashionistas! My only request…please Rei make larger sizes for men. have been a loyal customer for over 20 years!

This is the main shop of GARÇONS, which looks like a museum both the exterior and interior. The shop clerks are very friendly and speak English. The products require you so high fashion sense that I hesitate to purchase them, but I’m feeling very hyped about this good concept.

Yelp
If you're traveling to Tokyo and have any interest in fashion, you might want to visit the Comme des Garçons flagship in Aoyama. It's a beautiful store, strikingly designed and full of eye-catching clothes and accessories. Even if you buy nothing, it's a worthwhile visit, almost like a trip to a small art gallery exhibiting the work of the designers behind this world-famous label. I had actually picked up a pair of CDG Play x Converse shoes at Ginza Mitsukoshi earlier in the day but was still curious enough to check out the flagship store. Interestingly, it didn't carry the Converse line, but it had a giant selection of other CDG goodies, which otherwise seem kind of hard to track down. I tried on a pretty spectacular coat that I just wanted to see again online, and I absolutely cannot find it. The coat was expensive, incidentally, but I might have bought it if it weren't also a little bit cuckoo for cocoa puffs. CDG's clothes are fascinating and well constructed, but I would not describe them as particularly wearable. Part of the fun of the visit was seeing all the salespeople dressed in head-to-toe CDG, gorgeous circus clothing, most of it black, that must look wild out of context (the context being the runway or a CDG store). I don't mind admitting that I'm too basic for CDG (though if you're also basic, there is plenty of CDG Play merchandise at this store). I didn't end up buying anything, but I'm definitely glad I stopped by.

Yelp
When traveling always buy local. When in Paris, shop at LV, Goyard, Chanel, YSL, etc. When in Tokyo, Comme des Garçons. I was in search of my first piece from this brand and wanted a basic. I was staying at the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku and it was a quick train ride and walk to this store. I initially stopped by this kiosk like store inside a mall but decided to walk further up the hill for more selection. I ended up buying a black t-shirt with the red heart in a medium. After a came back from the trip, I wished I bought a large to go with my American diet. After several months at the gym, the t-shirt fit perfectly. I hope to be back soon for the selection and will pick up a large shirt.

Yelp
The Aoyama location is Comme des Garcons' flagship store, but you can find their products in major department stores (like the Dover Street Market (in Ginza, NYC, London), Nordstrom's, Barneys, etc.). Founded by designer Rei Kawakubo, this label offers clothing/ready-to-wear items, jewelry, and other accessories. Anyone who knows me know that I'm a huge Chucks head, but I procrastinated a bit in getting my hands on a specific collaboration between these two :P (Just note that the collaboration is still ongoing, but there are specific designs that were released in certain years that are of limited in quantity). The specific design I was looking for had been sold out for a while, but luckily, with my hardcore determination, I was able to order these limited editions in both colors!!! WOOT WOOT! I love love love the red heart face applique, and if shoes are not your thing, you can check out their hoodies :D +red heart face :D +Tokyo-based designer +limited editions/collaborations
