Commercial Hotel Cygnet

We dropped into the Commercial for lunch, we had a big group. The owner and staff were very accommodating. The meals were fantastic. If you are hungry order the chicken parmigiana.

Great little pub. Amazing staff, went out of their way to look after us. Best vegetarian burgers I have ever had! Other food delicious too. Would highly recommend a visit for good food and good company.

Brilliant pub! We recently stopped here on our Tassie travels & couldn’t fault the service & hospitality. Meals were generous & delicious, we had steaks & the best fish & chips on our trip. The owner personally made sure all our needs were met, and all the staff were terrific - special mention to Hayley & Cass who were absolutely the best, going out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. Don’t let a few naysayers turn you off, our stay here was so much fun & one of the highlights of our trip, I couldn’t recommend more highly!

My friends & I recently dined in the hotel Cafe. We liked the quite and homely atmosphere and the down to earth service. Our meals were very generous and well priced. This was exactly what we were looking for after the previous evening in this region being the precise opposite.

Went for lunch and the chicken schnitzel was RAW, vegetables were not roasted as displayed in menu they were microwaved. Chicken parmi was as it had been cooked in microwave soggy and disgusting. ||||Would not eat here ever again and would not recommend at all unless you like a side of food poisoning with your meal.

Under new management so in turmoil at the moment (Apr, 2024). New menu - good. Repaint. Wood-fired pizza oven. Meal preparation slow at moment. Plenty of parking. Wish them well. Heaps of potential. Change the aerial photo. Doesn't show the hotel. Ends at the car business next door.

Had lunch at the bistro and were doted on by the staff there! Gave us a complimentary bowl of chips for the kids as my youngest spilt her drink. Very good service and highly recommend!

Amazing food and great portion size! Really friendly staff! Would love to visit again!
