Commodity Fragrances

I was so happy to discover the Commodity shop during my trip to New York. I had ordered the exploration kit in London and had my heart set on Milk and Juice, but it was so good to be able to go in and have the staff explain in detail about all the different notes and layering process. I also got to try out Velvet which was not part of the exploration kit I ordered, plus a few ‘store only’ fragrances. The staff member was super knowledgeable, patient with my decision making processes, and the store was very clean and neatly laid out. I am know the proud owner of Milk and Juice - oh how I had missed them so much!

Diana was very helpful and nice. I wasn’t planning to purchase but after the experience I made a purchase. I like the concept of scent space categories.

Professional and friendly staffs who know fragrances. Elegant vibes. You tell them the sense you like, staff will immediately show you the type of fragrances you would love. Customer Services was awesome. They provide VIP services to all potential customers. Very Knowledgeable.

This was the best experience! It was a rainy day of fragrance shopping and the Commodity store even had hot chocolate outside. Bryson expertly walked my friend and I through all of the scent space options. I came specifically to see the Archives collection and was so pleased to find I could try them all out at the store. We ended up getting the full sample set of these. It was really cool to have gotten a completely unique experience that you can't get anywhere else or online :)

Charles, the manager working there was so helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. I went in there initially wanting to buy one fragrance, in having small talk about all the different types of fragrances he thought I would like best, I ending up purchasing two for my husband. It didn’t even feel like I was shopping, it felt more like meeting a friend that I didn’t see in such a long time. He was great, will be back!

One of the best new fragrance shops in the city. This was my first time experiencing the full Commodity line (my local Sephora never has had them) and it was such a delight sniffing through the different strengths of each scent. Bryson is awesome and the staff are so helpful. A gorgeous and aesthetic shop, perfect for browsing and finding your signature scent. Can’t wait to be back!

If you are perfume enthusiast or even someone who likes to try something new and interesting in New York, definitely visit the Commodity Fragrances. The place is aesthetically pleasing and Bryson was attentive to details regarding the perfumes and notes . I really love the perfumes have 3 intensity levels- unique and interesting like their names. This place also is a cute place for pics !
