Common Grounds - Mall of the Emirates

I recently visited Common Grounds and had a truly fantastic experience thanks to two stellar menu items: the Mediterranean Bowl and a side of their fresh guacamole. The bowl was a vibrant masterpiece, clearly made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. I especially appreciated the balanced combination of textures and flavors, from the perfectly roasted eggplant and creamy hummus to the sweet bursts of pomegranate. It was an incredibly satisfying and healthy lunch option that definitely stood out, proving that healthy food can be absolutely delicious. The guacamole, however, deserves its own special shout-out. It was exceptionally fresh, chunky, and seasoned to perfection with a bright hit of lime. It tasted homemade and was the perfect pairing with the crispy tortilla chips. Honestly, the quality of the guac exceeded my expectations and really rounded out the meal. Overall, Common Grounds nailed it. If you’re looking for high-quality, flavorful food in a great environment, I highly recommend ordering the Mediterranean Bowl and making sure you try the amazing guacamole. Five stars all around!

Had an amazing brunch at Common Grounds! The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully served — from the perfectly cooked steak and eggs to the vibrant salad and rice bowl. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Special thanks to Manager Rhex for being so accommodating and friendly, and to Apple, our server, for the excellent service and warm hospitality. Every time I visit Dubai, I have to stop by Common Grounds. In my opinion, they have the best banana bread — you have to try it! Their açaí is also a must, absolutely amazing. The service is top-notch and everything about the place is just perfect. I also had breakfast there, and it was absolutely delicious ..beyond words! Thursday morning disaster turned into the best breakfast surprise😍 I agreed to meet a friend at More Cafe in Mall of the Emirates Thursday morning at 9 AM, but guess what? More was boarded up and closed 😳 My friend was wandering the mall looking for a restaurant that didn't exist anymore😂 We both felt pretty silly 😂 So I said, change of plans, let's try Common Grounds instead. Glad I did. Best impulsive decision ever. Our server was absolutely amazing. I asked his name, but now I completely forgot it, getting old I guess. Next time I'm writing it down because he deserves recognition. I ordered the Big Brekkie for 85 AED. Our server said excellent choice and he was right. Two scrambled eggs cooked medium, beef bacon, beef sausages, miso mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, sauteed kale, hashbrown, and toasted sourdough. The whole thing gets a solid 10/10 from me. Here's what made my day, I’m on a diet so I asked if I could swap the hashbrown and bread for cucumbers instead. Without hesitation, he said certainly. You know how rare that is? Most places act like you're asking them to rebuild the kitchen. They handled our last-minute change like pros. I swapped the carbs and it still felt like a proper breakfast feast. My friend got the Low Carb Breakfast for 58 AED. Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, grilled zucchini, edamame, roasted cherry tomatoes, and sauteed kale. Also perfect, another 10/10. We went a bit coffee crazy. He had a latte, then a double espresso, then a single. I had a large Americano, then another with cold milk on the side. Don’t judge us. The coffee was consistent, service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and actually healthy too. Where else can you get a breakfast that tastes amazing and doesn't make you feel guilty after? Common Grounds just became my new favorite breakfast spot in MOE. I wish they had breakfast combos like More used to offer but honestly, I'm not complaining. Definitely going back soon. This time I'm bringing a pen to remember our server's name 🙂

From the warm welcome at the door to leaving completely satisfied, the experience was exceptional. The chefs are truly amazing—the food was outstanding in every way.
